Izrail was taken to the jedi temple by Ahaz. Atino came to keep an eye on their guest while they decided what to do with him. As she headed to the temple she had a brief encounter with Ahaz, one in which she almost stopped to tell him how she felt, but then she didn't. It wasn't time yet. She quickly walked past him after saying hello and made her way to the healing area.

The lion in question way laying down on the ground. She walked up to him and sat down. No one was around at the moment. It was just her and the sleeping lion. She was briefed about what happened to him, how he tried to run away from Ahaz, only to run into a tree. It sounded like something she would do, she thought with a smile.

“You aren't the only one trying to run away from him,” She whispered. Things would just be simpler if she could sit down with Ahaz and tell him how she really felt. It wasn't something complicated, but it was something she couldn't explain. Since she met him, she couldn't get him out of her mind.

The only problem was that she wasn't sure she was ready to let someone into her heart again. Her master had been the closest one to her. But he fell to the darkside and tried to drag her down with him. He ended up killing himself in front of her, something that still haunted her dreams. More than anything she just wanted to forget about it, pretend it didn't happen. But if that were to happen she would also lose all the good times she had with her master.

She thought about what the worst situation would be if she did get with Ahaz. He would break her heart, she thought. However they would share so many wonderful memories together while they were together. She could imagine them strolling through the jungle together, tail wrapped around tail. Then later, if things worked out, she could have her first family. A real family. Ones raised to be jedi like the parents. “That would be wonderful.”

As Izrail laid there, he had a nightmare, a night mare about his father. He was looking up at his father, his body couldn't move, not a single inch. No matter what he did he couldn't do anything, he felt to helpless. His father walked toward him and put his paw on Izrail's. Then Izrail felt the claws dig into him.

“My son, you have left me. You have left me for the Jedi. What the hell were you thinking? You don't belong in a place like that. You are my son. You were born in darkness and will remain in darkness till you die.” The claws went in deeper and deeper. Izrail wanted to cry out, but he couldn't do that. Tears started coming out of his eyes. “Stop your crying son.”

He was able to open his jaw. “I didn't mean to join them. I swear father, I wouldn't ever betray you or the Sith.” He said as Majanga pulled his claws out. “They captured me. I didn't tell them anything I swear. They tortured me, threated to skin me but I didn't talk.”

Majanga went to close to him. “Then why did they attack us?” He said quietly yet with intense. “Everyone has been killed. Everyone but me and my useless pathetic son.” With a quick slash of his paw, claws dug into Izrail's face.

He opened up his eyes. For a moment he thought that he had really been scratched. However when he felt his face, he didn't feel any pain, or scars or blood. He was thankful that it was a dream. Once he was okay, he noticed a cheetah looking at him. It was a different one. This one was female he was sure of it.

“I have to get out of here.” He said, getting up.

She watched his expression change as he slept. It was terror. Atino tried to wake him, but he wouldn't budge. When he did finally stir, he put his paws to his face, as if see if something really happened. “Are you alright?” She asked, but he was already getting up. “You shouldn't leave yet. You should rest a little longer. I promise you will be safe here. Once you are well rested and well fed you can go on your way.”

She wondered what was wrong with him. “Please stay here. Once you are better we will have someone escort you to your pride. For now you shouldn't be walking on your front paws. You hurt them in the fall I believe.”

Izrail didn't believe her and continued forward, only to feel the pain increase in his paws. He stopped. “What did you do to me?” He asked angrily. “My paws were fine until you and your friend helped me. I just want to leave. I have no interest in being with the jedi.”

He went to move forward, but instead ended up tripping over. The whole thing was embarrassing. If his father found out he would be in so much trouble. He just hoped it would come to that.

Atino sat down next to him. “I know who you are. I didn't get a good look at you, but I am sure I know who you are.” She had seen markings like his before. When she met Lord Majanga. He also had markings like his. Even the thought of the dark lord sent shivers down her spine. She was sure this was a relative of his. Judging by his age, probably his son. “I won't tell anyone. However, in return I want you to stay here and rest.”

She gave him a gentle smile. “For the record I don't care who you are related to. I think that there is good in you. I hope someday you will see that.” If he was Majanga's son it would make sense why he would want out of there. She decided she wouldn't mention this to anyone. It was somewhat important, but sometimes secrets were meant to be kept and not shared. This was one of those rare times.

Izrail nodded his head and closed his eyes. He would keep a close eye on the cheetah. She didn't seem to be any harm, despite the fact she knew his one secret. He was sure she wouldn't tell anyone though. If she did, he knew he would be in some trouble. He couldn't help but remember his mother when he looked at the cheetah. The two looked totally different, but they still looked at him the same way. It was a gentle look, a look he hadn't seen in sometime. Thinking of it let him fall to sleep easier. This time when he slept the nightmares stayed away and he had a peaceful sleep.
