To say Nickeline was excited about speaking to Benitoite was an understatement. It was unfathomable just how much she had been looking forward to speaking, actually speaking, to someone. She was overlooking the fact that he was a peeping, super perverted, tom because he said he would learn Greek and that meant the world to her.

She hadn't seen him much, here and there in passing, and finally she was going to do it. She didn't know how to contact him so like the creeper she was she simply waited, and waited. Sooner or later he'd have to show up, right? If he so much as powered up near her she would be able to sense it and she would go running to him as fast as she could and resist any urge she had to punch him so he could greet her properly.

A couple hours passed but Nickeline was still waiting, staring off into the distance and pacing back and forth on top of the roof every once and awhile until finally, finally, she felt a ting of his power level. Immediately she leap off the roof and onto the next, chasing a dream across the horizon until she seen the blue uniform.

"Be-ni-to-ite~~!" She said, pronounciating each syllable as best as she could with her accent..

He had indeed said he would learn Greek, and that had been soon pushed right to the back burner. School, patrols, and everything else had occupied his time as well as French lessons in preparation of his upcoming trip to France. Had he tried, really gotten into, looking for a way to learn Greek he'd have found it hard- if not impossible. He wasn't in college where he had access to other language courses and professors who knew other languages, ones not even taught on campus. Had he tried to learn it, that was after he remembered about that promise made, along with Spanish and French he'd have had a meltdown in school from trying to learn too much. Languages were not easy really, never had been for him. Sentence structure and such always messed him up.

Today was a busy day. School and homework, he did what he could during lunch while spooning and forking food into his mouth, followed by work. When he'd gotten home he'd let Cadha out back, taking the time to wait for him to come inside, showered and washed and dried his hair. Dinner had been the last thing to do, he'd worked on the remains of his homework while eating - again. Time was beginning to be scarce for the him and multiple things were being done at the same time, like eating and doing homework.

Finally, after another let out back for Cadha, he was able to leave the house and after a short walk he managed to power up and take to the roof tops. A corrupt senshi was nearby, he could feel it, and then he heard it. His name in a very odd and yet distinct accent, not to mention how his name was broken up as if they didn't - or couldn't - say it properly so were testing out the name as they said it.

The long silver haired senshi! Surprised to see her he raised a hand and waved toward her, nothing overly energetic or enthusiastic.

Nickeline spotted his waving arm and seemed pleased, overall, because it meant that he remembered her. Clearly that was a good sign, definitely making her expectations all the more likely. She grinned contently, holding her hair in one arm as she bound across the roof and then jumped over to the other.

Butterflies fluttered around in her stomach as she stood there in front of him, completely unaware of the fact that he hadn't actually learned any Greek. She stood in silence, waiting for him to say something to her. She longed for this, she'd waited for this moment. Sure, she called her grandfather sometimes over Skype and her mother but someone actually in Destiny City? It would be amazing.

Of course he remembered her, how could he forget her with hair like that!? Not to mention she wasn't American which had also made an impression on him. Up until then he hadn't thought they had foreign members, or that the war was going on else where. Though he supposed, thinking now, that she could have just moved here and been awakened. But after his meeting with her he hadn't thought that at all. For some reason his mind had jumped right to the possability of her not being from here at all and the war going on elsewhere in the world, that it wasn't just Destiny City.

Watching her hold her hair, really that hair had to be annoying, he watched her jump over onto his roof top. he'd worried she might trip, or get her hair caught on something, and was thus pleased when she landed without any such incident occurring.

s**t...she wasn't saying anything and seemed to be waiting for something. But wha- oh. He had promised he'd learn Greek...He felt like an idiot, and something of a liar as well. He had broken a promise hadn't he? It wasn't something he liked to do, especially not when it came to hose he fought with. He liked to have that trust built up between himself and others. And now he'd broken a promise. How to fix things...or at least make the best of this situation?

After a moment he smiled and even bowed before opening his mouth to speak. "Good evening." A smile, bright and friendly, as he hoped she wouldn't hit him. He'd seen plenty of girls hit their boyfriends, he did go to high school after all, and most of those girls seemed to have quite the slap as it echoed down the hall and left the male with a red print on his face for a good while. He did not want to be on the receiving end of such abuse, though he felt he very ell might be.

She had waited and what she got was so not worth it. How did he not know a standard greeting in Greek? Shouldn't that be the first thing you'd learn? She eyed the general suspiciously, judging him rather harshly. She didn't have give people the benefit of the doubt and immediately she knew that he had broken his promise and lied to her. How could she have fallen for something as stupid as believing him? She was disappointed with herself and him, and upset at him all at once.

"No," she growled, shaking her head. Don't speak to her like that! Don't pretend everything will be okay. YOU LIED. You perverted piece of trash. Nickeline's thoughts were anything but gentle at this point, her fists tightening into fists until finally she swung them right at Benitoite's pretty little face again.

He had expected her to swing at him and didn't have long to wait, he really wasn't surprised in the least. He sort of did deserve it, even if she really had quite the punch, and it snapped his head to the side. Turning back to her, slowly, while rubbing at his cheek, he tried to give the most apologetic smile, and look, he could. Though he his cheek really did make it hurt to smile.

It looked like he'd be trying this language thing - trying to talk to her and understand her. "Sorry....too much work...no time." Thinking if he spoke simple words and broke the up it might help with the language barrier between them. "You teach me?" He asked pointing from himself to her, would she understand it or think worse things of him? He didn't like this, not one bit, he should have not let this go to the back burner like he had. But he hadn't been able to help it really. Now though he was paying for it and had to hope she would forgive him and maybe even teach him Greek, although how he didn't know. Maybe though asking her to do it would help? She would be able to make sure he learned - keeping his promise.

Nickeline was quick to anger, a good portion of that because she spoke English as a very second language. It was ironic that this all started because he hadn't learned Greek. Benitoite was not looked upon with favour as he had when she first sighted him and instead her mind thought back to their original encounter before he said he'd learn Greek. It went back to him being a peeping, perverted Tom.

Excuses. All the words he spoke were stupid, English excuses. It was infuriating. He was trying to speak to her slowly, and because by now he should have known some Greek, it pissed her off even more than normally. She took another swing at him, as if to get him to shut up, and then her face just put on this perpetual scowl. He wanted to learn some Greek? Okay.

"Benitoite is an a*****e! A stupid American!" She yelled at him, speaking very fast with a heavy accent. She was clearly very pissed off regardless of his tactics to try and calm her down.

Where she was quick to anger, obviously, he was not. It took a lot to anger him and if someone sought to anger him quickly it took even more, something very heavy and the right timing. Suffice to say the stars had to align to anger him fast, and they weren't going to align any time soon. Obviously Nickeline was easy to anger and her anger was white hot. But did he really deserve to be punched a second time?

His head had again snapped to the side as he wondered if he could get whiplash from this, maybe she'd feel bad about that. He wanted to hold his hands up and stop her, even went to raise his hands to do just that, when she was shouting at him...in English. Though it was heavily accented, no surprise there, he flinched visibly at her words. He felt bad for what he'd not done for her but this was ridiculous.

It wasn't that he was scared of her, he had no reason to be, it was guilt and the anger he'd stirred up in her. Facing her again he took a slow breath. "Teach me?" He doubted it would calm her, in fact he was sure it wouldn't, he wasn't trying to calm her though. He was trying to now solve a problem - correct a wrong - and get the help he needed to correct it. He didn't know anywhere else he could learn Greek.

"No!" She growled, stomping her foot like a child who didn't get their way.

Stupid men always deserved to be punched, or at least that's how Nickeline seen it. It didn't matter that he was trying to make amends, at least not right now, because she was too upset to simply agree to anything. In fact, she was simply to infuriated to even be in his presence any longer. Balls of silver quickly moved further away from the general until she was running down the rooftops.

She was grumbling something on her way out but once again she was talking in Greek but it didn't matter anymore. Maybe after she'd cooled off she'd be more accepting to the idea but right now she couldn't even look at the boy without feeling like punching him for being such a liar. The best thing for her now was to find some way to cool off, and surely after being punched twice even Benitoite could understand that.

Well, he couldn't get her to help him. He'd have to figure something out. He needed to correct things. He really was in a deep pit right now and he couldn't find a way to get out, at least just yet. he'd figure some way out. Hopefully while he was on vacation he'd be able to think of something and be able to implement it when he returned. He knew two languages, three if you counted Spanish class, would be far from easy especially when added to everything else he did. But maybe if he focused on a few words it would help with amending this situation? Maybe from there she would help him and he could explain how busy he was, if he didn't get punched before he could properly explain things. He really did need to do more though when he sought her out, he was hoping that he wouldn't run into her till he was ready and then he could track her down.

Oh, he could understand it. He didn't go after her, sure that if he did she would punch him and who knows what else. He really didn't want to upset her further, he feared her actually hitting or strangling him with all that hair. He could see that being quite the weapon if she cared to use it, it would certainly startle and surprise any enemy she used her hair against. Mumbling something to himself about going home for some salve, bruising, ice, and vicious females, Benitoite decided to teleport himself closer to home before powering down and walking the rest of the way home. He'd work out a plan of action, slowly.
