Hel had been rather surprised when she looked out her window one morning to see that it was snowing. She couldn’t help but immediately think about this time last year, where Christmas invaded and they were trapped in a snow globe… The ghoul stuck her head out the window and looked to the sky, just to double check that they weren’t stuck in a glass globe, and took a snowflake to the eye. Cursing, Hel pulled her head back in, and then did what any respectable and honorable ghoul should. She got dressed for cold weather and marched her a** outside to tumble in it. Coming from an area of Halloween where it was cold during these Octobers and where it did snow, she was no stranger to this weather. Once outside, the ghoul ended up climbing the brick wall of the reaper gardens and just stood on top with her hands on her hips, surveying the now white surroundings. There were some students who were coming and going…and that gave the reaper an idea. She grinned, and knelt, gathering some snow with her gloved hands and packed it into a ball. Sadly, her first victim of assault happened to be some poor sap wearing black drapes that came out of the reaper dorms. The ghoul threw the snowball at the figure, and cackled as it whapped the figure right in the head.

Damn this snow! Mot shivered as he exited the dorms, huddled inside his cloak. It was difficult getting used to the weather. Last year he'd borrowed a coat from Riyo. It didn't dawn on him to get one for himself after. For now, his cloak would do. Just as he'd left the stairs and walked along the pathway, something struck him in the side of the head. A surprised yelp escaped his throat while long, reddened fingers grasped at his head. Were they under attack!? Not again! The reaper, summoned his rifle and in a swift motion, turned to see who'd attacked. ".....HEL?! THAT WAS MEAAAAAAAN!" Mot bemoaned, dismissing his gun and pouting at the far away figure.

Hel was rather surprised actually that the figure she had whacked summoned a weapon. Oh, so it had come to this, huh!? The ghoul immediately summoned her spear, and pulled her arm back, and was about to chuck it at the figure when the figured yelled out. Hel stumbled a bit, nearly falling off the wall as she laughed. “Mot!?” She called back. “Is that you!? Why do you look like a little widow spinster!?” Hel dismissed her weapon, and then jumped off the wall… Only to land waist deep in a pile of snow. “What the…” Hel tried pulling herself out of the pile she had landed it, but wasn’t going anywhere. “…Seriously?” She tried harder.

Little widow spinster? Did he look that ridiculous!? He was ready to whine, but his head dropped to wear Hel landed. Wow... she just.... Mot giggled. The lightfooted Mot lightly trotted his way to Hel, looking smug once he got there. "You... need some help, little lady?"

Hel was still trying to pull herself out…but was having no luck. Wow! Who would have thought that when you got more than half of yourself stuck and compacted in snow, it was really hard to get out. It was like…keeping her there! It didn’t help that Hel was top heavy too. The ghoul paused though as Mot tip toed over…and then had the nerve to look smug. Oh. It was going to be like that, huh? The reaper stared up at him, and then straightened and puffed out her chest as much as she could, resting her hands on her hips in the snow haughtily. “Why would I need help, Mot?” Oh yeah. It was gonna be like that.

"Why? Well.. you are buried in snow, Hel. I mean, unless you like that sort of thing. I will not judge."The reaper took a seat right in front of Hel, pointing his thumb and forefinger right above her head. "Is this new?"Yoinked.

“Well….just because I am buried does not mean I am stuck!” Hel replied, narrowing her eyes at the boil as his hand reached over and…plucked off her hat. Hel scowled, loudly. “No, Mot. It is not new!” She cried. “If you had actually paid attention to me this time last year, you should have recognized it!” Oh. Snap. Hel wasn’t purposefully being malicious though, as was apparent by the grin on her face after she said that. Unfortunately, she had been too loud, and her echo had knocked loose some snow from the roof of the reapers’ dorms…and it landed right on her.

"How do you expect me to remember every little thing you've ever wo----". . . . "PfffffftHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"Mot started rolling around with laughter. And fell into a snow drift. The hat gently floated down into the breeze.

“Nothing about me is little, Mot!” Came the muffled reply from underneath the snow. Hel shook and wiped the snow off, just in time to see the grim fall back into a snow bank of his own. She was silent for a moment before she erupted into hysterical laughter as well.
The ghoul then got an idea, and instead of trying to pull herself up, she instead dove down into the snow. The wingless valkyrie disappeared…and reappeared a few moments later outside of the deeper part of the snow bank, having burrowed her way there. “Need some help there, partner?” She sneered, and snatched her hat right out of the air and pulled it back onto her head.

No, that he knew well. There was nothing little or dainty about Hel. At all.
Mot scowled from within his icy prison. Great, now their positions were reversed. And the way he was all tangled up would make escape difficult. But unlike Hel, his pride was not so big he couldn't ask for a hand.
"Halp. Snow is trickling down m---EEEK!"

Hel laughed now, but she wasn’t going to let Mot suffer for too long. She reached out and grabbed his ankle. “On the count of three…”
She paused.
“THREE!” She howled with amusement, and then yanked the boil right out from the snow bank. By his ankle. She was a good friend, really she was.

With a yelp, Mot was plucked from the ground like a daisy. His long and gangly limbs splayed like a rag doll. "Th..thank you, Hel!"

Hel grinned down at Mot…and then dropped a pile of snow on his face. “You are most welcome, Motty ~ !” She sang, and then laughed. “It has been a while, friend, what have you been up to?” She held out a gloved hand to him, looking to pull him up. “I must admit, I am rather surprised to see it snow right now as well here.”

Mot's protest was short, in that he spent most of it trying to stop snow from dripping down his shirt after Hel's helpful snow fall.
Mot took Hel's hand, pulling himself up with her help. His slender nose was red from the chill, his hands brushing off the remaining snow off his cloak. "It was been a while, huh? Yeah, I can't say I'm glad to see it back."

“Ha! Hard to believe it has been nearly a year since we last saw some…well…I take that back…I did go to a snowy mountain over the warmer Octobers for a classmate…” Hel patted her rosy cheek with a gloved hand thoughtfully, and then rolled her shoulders. She tilted her head, and now that she wasn’t stuck in snow, took a moment to look over the cowboil…and his widow drapes. Her brows furrowed, and she reached out, grabbing the end of his cloak and looked it over, lifting it up and down in examination.
“…So what is with the widow drapes? Are you mourning something?”
