http://www.beliefnet.com/Faiths/Galleries/When-God-is-silent.aspx
the above is a tiny slide show, that explains how we should act when "God" chooses to be quiet, and not answer your prayers. I get these things in my email, and thought I would start sharing them with you guys... Maybe one of you can get more, than I, out of them.

The silence can be soul crushing. That is one way of getting through it. Seems like decent advice. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. God's silent moments and those moments of waiting are probably some of the hardest in any believer's walk. Those moments require more faith than any other kind. I think of Abraham between the moment God first called him to sacrifice his son and reaching the hilltop, or the moment when Jesus is in the garden of gethsemane. They're always deep and painfully, those moments, even in my life with relatively less daunting troubles.
...Thanks again smile

Sometimes I am hesitant to bring up songs in this case. But i think of the song "unanswered prayers" by Garth Brooks. Song I never really understood until becoming a christian. Used to have what I now call 'empty prayers' thinking he just wasn't listening but knowing i had to do it. Really he is always listening, and he always cares. He just has his own plan. "One of god's favorite gifts Are unanswered prayers"
PS: loved the link, thanks for posting it. Always need a reminder every now and then from my everyday life that I am not alone.
