The mare walked slowly over to the crystal water. She was posed and elegant her hair swept back with a sunny yellow bow. Her horn glistered in the soft afternoon rays as she dipped her head to drink.
Naja had been travelling so far and had began to reach the lush green mountain area. The sand had been harsh on her hooves and dirtied her soft coat, yet she began to miss it. The water rippled as she drank. Maybe she should just go back home.

Jason had been hovering by the lake, his mind growing weary from the long walks up and down the mountain side. He had traveled with others now and helped hunted, he had killed animals he believed less than he and still he was vastly empty. Jason lowered his mask over his face to block out the rays of light. The scent of the pond waft through the holes in the mask and he could smell and new scent. One not from these parts, but one from a sandy place. He lurked in the reeds that boarded the sides.
