Tomorrow he went back to school, having had half of last week off for Thanksgiving, and he knew half his class, professors included, would be on the rather lazy and tired side. So he knew if he spent longer out tonight than usual he wouldn't stand out in class, he normally turned in fairly early so he didn't fall asleep in class. He may not live at home but the school still would call them; and he really didn't want to lie to his parents.
As of last Tuesday night he'd been spending more hours up and out than usual. So tonight wasn't all that odd, at least not for this week. Powered up the General had already taken to the rooftops, he really found them to be an easier way to get around the city, his slate eyes gazing out ahead of him as he pondered where to head tonight. He still, even now, tried not to go to the same areas on any set schedule; as Fluorite had told him all that time ago. Tapping a booted foot against the rooftop as he thought over where to go, where he had been and when, he finally headed south toward the downtown area. Downtown was bright and hopefully the bright lights would keep people from seeing him up on the roof tops. It wasn't something he'd normally worry about, being seen by people, but downtown had so many people it could get him seen. It was an area he'd never gone to while powered up; truth be told.
His mind made up he headed off toward the brightly lit downtown area. Tonight was, as usual, a fairly easy night for him. He had a few energy orbs stored in a pocket of his coat, just in case. All he had to do, provided all was quite for him, was patrol and look out for new members and if he found any see to it they were safe and doing well. Leaping from one rooftop to the next he felt a smile tugging at his lips. This might be stressing at times, among many other things, but moving like this also felt freeing.

Sometimes it was nice not having anything to worry about schedule wise. Demetri had long since dropped out of school, and he only worked the occasional shift at the arcade. Not that he had worked there ina long while, trips out of town made it a bit difficult after all. Now he was back, and could resume normal life. Or what passed for it at least.
Tonight though was just filled with patrol duty. Scheelite wasn't much of an energy gatherer these days, he was much better suited for recruiting and caring for said recruits. No tagalongs tonight, just himself and the bright lights of the city. It felt pretty good to be home, and the blonde gave a happy sigh as he sat and watched the citizens below. A brightly lit sign was his perch tonight, the General finding a cozy spot in the center of an O. The sign itself was for some big corporation Scheelite had little interest in, though he did have to compliment them on their choice of signage.
An energy signal seemed to be moving it's way closer to him, but it read Negaverse...and a strong one at that! No problems then, Schee kept his focus on the normal citizens of Destiny City and let that signal do as it wished.
Though he secretly hoped it'd come closer!

It was as the other felt him that Scheelite was sensed by Benitoite. For a moment he wondered who it could be, it felt as powerful as he was, maybe it was someone he knew or had met in passing. That in mind he headed toward it, like a moth attracted to a flame. It looked like his evening would get interesting, no matter who it was, and what made it good was that it wasn't some senshi. He'd honestly had an overload of them recently, not that it would keep him from a fight should one come seeking him.
Jumping another rooftop he got closer as he joined the lights of the downtown area. Like a dark shadow he stood amongst the lights and yet kept to the shadows for the moment. His clothing wasn't some bright beacon that attracted attention. The blond generals uniform was dark colors with hints of silver and a gray shirt. Nothing too light or bright.
From his shadowy place he looked around seeking whoever was here. Someone was here and he would find them, he wanted to see who it was.
Ah! And there was someone, standing out like a human glowstick...or sign; like the one they were sitting in. Stepping out of his hiding spot he made his way toward them, only a few buildings away were they. This wasn't someone he knew but to be a General they'd been around obviously.

The power that he had felt seemed to be coming closer, and that had the brightly clothed blonde smiling. It'd really been a while since he could sit and interact with his fellow Negaversers, and surely this was a general he knew!
Though as the figure drew closer, Schee had to finally bring his gaze up and focus. Actually...this general -didn't- seem so familiar. Huh...that was odd. Had he really been gone -that- long?
No matter!
"Hello fellow soldier of the night!" This general was super friendly, and Scheelite just continued to grin as the other approached. Once they were close enough, Schee jumped to his feet and threw them a wave.
"Name's Scheelite. General Scheelite....and -you- are?" His head was cocked to the side like a curious puppy. It was a rather ridiculous look for a Negaverse General! Then again, a lot of things about him were rather ridiculous.

Tilting his head at the enthusiastic greeting the blond nodded his head once. One hand raised in greeting, rather than being waved about. For a single moment he thought of a certain pale blue haired Captain.
As the blond got to his feet Benitoite managed to get closer and join him in the brightly lit sign work. "A pleasure, General." A soft smile crossed the shorter Generals features. Taking a seat on a letter L, on the horizontal part of the letter, his legs dangled over the letters edge. "Benitoite." Though he did answer to Beni for short, he wasn't going to say that though. "I've never seen you..." And he was sure he should have at some point, maybe the Christmas event, he was sure he wouldn't have missed such a brightly colored General. But he hadn't seen him then.
Looking up and over to his fellow General he let his hands rest on either side of him, palms pressed to the lit up letter. "Your not new and yet I've never seen nor heard of you." And he had to wonder why not, among other things he was suddenly wondering about.

"Well, you're obviously not new and I haven't seen or heard of you either! Funny sort of world we live in, hrm?" The smile never seemed to leave Scheelite's face, though his gaze did return to the people down below.
"Nah, not new at all. Been around quiteeee some time. How long? Uh...man it's all blending together..couple years at least. Yep, seen a lot of things, people come and go...ya know?" Or maybe he didn't know, Scheelite wasn't really sure. That was okay, he could just keep talking!
"I helped bring Zinkenite in! I remember Tanzanite when she was a captain...Tanzanite is pretty awesome, I'm glad she's on -our- side, heh. Probably why you haven't seen me around though! I've been out doing stuff for her, other cities and such. Been keeping me busy, but it's good to be back. Apparently I need to go hunt down all the new people I haven't met, if it's been so long that no one's speaking about me."
Little did Scheelite really know (or care) that most people likely -didn't- talk about him when he wasn't around. At least not in a positive light. He was a rather unorthodox Negaverser, to say the least.
"What have you been up to? How long ya been around? Who's on your team?" Eventually he'd slow down and let the other speak.
Maybe.

"Newer than a lot of members. A little over a year. Which, while not new it is compared to some members." And against them he felt the newness. But on his own, or with newer people, he didn't feel it. He didn't have the bonds with the older members he did with the newer ones. Perhaps that was why.
Oh, Scheelite was really reminding him of Bazzite, though in a slightly more contained why. He wasn't bouncing all around, or jumping him, or all over the place topic wise. "Zinkenite...he brought me in. Tanzenite I've only seen twice, both times at meetings.I've never even spoken to her..." Perhaps it was again that feeling of not being bonded to those who'd been in longer. Though it also could be how intimidating she seemed. She was more intimidating than Wolframite and Obsidian, and thinking of both of them still reminded him of how intimidating and unsettling they were. He hoped to never be that way himself. "Other cities? So this war is going on else where? Or is it just us in other places?" Suddenly interested and eager to learn. He'd wondered it, a few times, if this war was going on else where. He'd never seen or heard about it on the news or on the internet.
"Maybe it's just me and other new members who haven't heard about you. I'm rather close to some of the new members, I'm sure I could at least give you some names." And maybe point them out or arrange something if it was sought by the other blond.
"Team? The only teams I know of are the groups we've been broken into. Intelligence, infiltration and special ops. I don't know of any teams beyond that but I guess you could say I have a group I associate and work with, some members aren't Negaverse agents however." Not that it bothered him. They were allies and also served chaos so it was all the same to him. They needed to work together, to serve the same cause, in order to be a stronger group.
"Where were you anyway?" He wouldn't ask what he'd been doing, assuming it was need to know and he didn't need to know, but he was curious on where things were going on. How could he not be? It made things seem bigger than just this city. Was it really that much bigger than here? Than this city? Looking up toward the night sky he smiled softly. He did like being part of something bigger, he didn't feel as alone as he somehow felt at times.

"I'd like to meet the newer agents! That'd be kind of awesome actually, no offense but man I feel pretty behind if you're here as a general and I just...don't even know you at all. I guess that's what being out of town gets you."
Sure, he looked all smiles (as Scheelite usually did), but deep down this was really bothering him. He had a definite connection with the older members of the Negaverse, whether they liked it or not. But to realize there was at least one general he didn't know, and who knew how many other captains or lieutenants? -Ugh-. It was a pretty big disconnect, and it was not sitting well with Scheelite.
But he'd never let Benitoite know that.
"It seems most of the action is still here. I never really ran into any Senshi, just plenty of people I was tasked with talking onto our side. Big recruitment mission, ya know?" Which was -much better- than staying in Destiny City and having to fight. The idea of that still made Scheelite's stomach do flip flops.
"....Whoa whoa wait, you guys don't do teams any more? The -hell- have I missed?! Teams were important man! They made sure everyone was trained and developed bonds between the members new AND old. I was on Linarite's team when I was a lieutenant, now Paragonite is on my team...this is all so weird. Groups sound cool, useful, whatever. I think I've just been gone too long."
And now it was noticeably not sitting well with Scheelite.
At. All.

"No offence taken and I would agree. I'll see if I can't arrange for something." Wrinkling his nose, a rather cute though rare action for him, as he wondered if holding a training session and bringing in some of the newer agents would work. It could but really to have a dodgeball being thrown around a theater where the only light source were candles was a hazard, But it could turn into a powered up gathering and dissolve into a civilian training session. Shaking the thoughts away, almost physically shaking his head, he focused back on the other blond.
"Sounds like it, which is good. At least you didn't run into a load of senshi - especially if you were on your own." He might like a good fight, prime example being the ambush, but he didn't like the idea of taking on, on his own, several senshi potentially. Nope, he accepted death as a possibility but he wasn't going to offer himself right over to Death either.
"No...not that I'm aware of at any rate. We've been broken into factions now, each one tasked with it's own duties." Shrugging a bit. He didn't mind his faction, suited him just fine really and it didn't cut into his civilian life and school. He did not want to drop out, or miss a lot, of school and have Lily to deal with for it. "I'd say maybe what you had as teams is something unspoken now. I know I tend to spend time with a certain few and I do help them as much as I can, but I don't give each the time I'd like." He did his training sessions, and even attend other peoples training sessions, but he'd like one on one training really and to be able to help everyone he could. But the downside was not having the time and the simple fact he was still learning, always learning, and so he couldn't train everyone he'd like to. Not to mention he didn't want to step on toes. Bazzite was hard to handle only because he didn't want to upset him, keeping him happy meant a lot to him. Natron wasn't his lieutenant and he didn't want to step on toes. And other random run in's where he could help, wanted to help, plus his own two lieutenants. He really needed a vacation...
"Paragonite...that's not a name I know. Though I'm sure you know many names I don't as well. I don't know what's happened to the team you'd had, I wish I could tell you something on them. You've been gone and things have changed...some for the better I'm sure and I'm sure some for the worse, though that's all a matter of opinion." And he felt bad telling him these things, just as he would were he telling bad things to Bazzite. It was a certain guilt that gnawed at his stomach and twisted it up inside him. But he also was an honest person and one who didn't hold back all that much.
Tilting his head back with a weary sigh, fingers combed through his hair, he found himself speaking again. His voice lower now, weary even. "If I can help you adjust in any way I will. If you need a place to stay I can offer it, I already share my home with a Captain of mine, one who you remind me of in some ways, and in others not. I can work on some small meetings so you can meet those I know, mostly Lieutenants and dark mirror senshi, if you want. I can tell you what I know we've accomplished since I've joined, give you the names of those I've met and seen in passing." Anything to help the other and correct that look on the others face, he didn't like that look.

Scheelite often had a very carefree (and clueless) air about him. Any who worked with him in the old days likely recalled this very -aggrivating- trait of his. They blonde could usually blow off just about anything, seemingly unaffected and capable of going about his day to day tasks as happy as ever. Few things really ever -bothered- him...or at least in a noticeable way.
When something did truly bother him though, his reaction was to close off and run away from it. His mind was always a happier place, and if he could just retreat and get some time to think to himself, he'd usually cheer back up and be right back to happy go lucky Scheelite.
The urge to flee was rising pretty quickly. The general was getting ansty, nervous even.
"That's...very kind of you, but Para and I already have a place to stay. Though I would like to meet some others---" Scheelite suddenly froze and gave the other a look very much like a deer in the headlights.
"...W-what did you just say?" Please please -please- let it just be something he misheard. There was no way...
"I..I am not sure I heard you right, I could have sworn you just said something about mirror senshi, but...that really can't be true, right?" It just wasn't possible a Negaverser would run with a -mirror senshi-. Not after the Blood Moon Court. Not after what happened. It just couldn't be.
None of this was sitting well with Scheelite. He felt sick. His thoughts flashed back to those -horrible- Senshi. All that time spent worrying about his comrades, the rescue itself...the battle afterwards, Tanz as a giant youma, -himself- as a tiny youma...
And Primase....
His arms instinctively crossed across himself, an attempt to hug and calm himself down. The fingers of one hand went right to the giant feather hanging off his uniform, while the other went to the bit of teal fabric around his arm.
It...even sounded like he -whimpered- a bit?

"I'm glad to know your staying with someone, that's good." Nodding his head as he spoke. He was glad to know the returned General had a place to stay, and with someone he knew. It would hopefully help him in resettling, as it seemed he was having an issue with the changes. Changed he could tell seemed to be massive for the other. He really couldn't picture his own world being turned that upside down and inside out, at least not without taking into account how he might just have a breakdown over it all. He was an organized person and suddenly finding everything out of order would greatly affect him.
So he did feel for the other, a lot really.
"Yes...the Dark Mirror Court. Although I only know and deal with a few members. I've only seen their princess three times." And those being in the form of either listening to her or watching her he really had no opinion on her, aside from intimidating. She was intimidating and had a lot of power. He supposed it didn't matter that he didn't know her personally seeing as he knew two of her eternal senshi, Remarque and Leto.
Standing, as he watched the others physical reactions to his words, the shorter general made an approach slowly. "Scheelite? Are you alright...?" A stupid question, he knew it, and yet it was the cliche thing to say - ask -. It just was what a person asked, even when they knew the answer. Was that a...whimper? Oh god he'd upset the other and he didn't want to - hadn't been trying to. "Scheelite?"
