Yet she's somehow able to do it, as long as it's towards something she really wants. In this case, books, food, and any type of technology. Due to the blank expression she wears most of the time, people normally see her as a person that is usually tired and bored.
She can be a kind person if she wanted to, yet it's only to those she considers 'friends'. The thing is, befriending Ruby isn't all an easy task. She doesn't think of just anyone as a 'friend'. To her, she has high standards for people that are to be considered friends. But in the end, it's all worth it. Ruby appears extremely loyal and considerate towards those she identifies as a friend.
╷Biography╷ : " My childhood wasn't all that grand and spectacular. I'm merely a fisherman's daughter from a small village named Kinoko near the Sea of Jinuwa. My parents might have had another child child apart from me, particularly since my father had hoped for a son that could fish with him. But when I was eight my mother grew terribly ill with what was probably bone cancer, though at the time I had no idea what was wrong. The only escape from the discomfort was sleep, which she began to do more or less constantly. By the time I was eleven, the bones in her face had begun to protrude, and she never gained weight again afterwards. As my mother grew more and more sick, my father grew more and more desperate for food to place on the table, as well as supply medicine for her. During this time, my father had spent most of his time fishing than he had ever before, while I spend most of my afternoons playing in nearby the swimming pond. "
