It's just about to break. It's more than I can take. Everything's about to change.Never had any of them. 3nodding
I don't want them, either. I actually prefer my laptop... Although it's big, and isn't as easily portable as an iPad or tablet, I like it better.
I'm perfectly fine with my iPod Touch and laptop, and wouldn't trade either of them for anything. ^_^ I feel it in my veins. It's not going away. Everything's about to change

I bought a Nook last month--the cheapest available. Not because I couldn't afford better, but I already have an overpriced smartphone, so it seemed silly to get a Nook with tablet-like technology.
Sometimes it just seems like there's just too much technology with overlapping functionality. Do I really need a smartphone, e-reader, lap top, and tablet? :]

I just got a Kindle yesterday and I absolutely love it. I don't see much use for an ipad since I have a laptop and iphone.

City of Dreams Some people might argue with you and say yes you do xD I know, I know. I sound like an old fogey. ;] I'm also one of those weird people who like reading/collecting old books instead of carrying them all downloaded on an e-reader.

i have an old-ish laptop i want a good gaming laptop for games and an iPad for those games and internet access owo iPad's more durable than smartphones, since i tend to drop stuff a lot and why do i need a computer that's also a phone? my phone is for calling and texting. and taking pics, lol

I have a kindle from Amazon for pc, but I don't use it very much because I don't like to spend hours hunched over a desk reading. I like holding the book to read in the parking lot, or where ever I may find time to read. I especially enjoy the sound of turning the page, feeling the page between my fingers, the scent of the page as it ages and gets yellow. Age has a quiet charm to it, dignified. I can't throw books away because I feel literature is extremely important. I have a stack of text books in my trunk. I have been trying to figure out who to sell them too at a store, but they only give store credit. I may just go to Goodwill instead.
Tablets, I have never used and I don't know how they work. They look so fragile, though. I bet it stops working if you drop it. It's probably worse than a laptop because at least you can type on a laptop and it is cheaper than tablets. The only use a tablet would be worth it might be an artist person who uses stylus to make art on it. xD
Laptops are NOT for gaming. If you want gaming on the go, get a mobile thing like psp or 3ds. If you want a gaming computer, make one. It's more expensive than a console, but you get what you pay for it. I bought this pc in 2011 and it has been good. I am considering buying a psu (power supply unit, what powers the computer) and gpu (video card) because my integrated card is good, but not great. I'd like to see the games as they were meant to be.
Sadly, the hardware confuses me. On the other hand, the more I wait, the cheaper the tech gets. So...I'm waiting till I figure out how to choose a card and psu.
