After the spar and the shower incident, Solia just felt terrible. Jason was nice, too nice even. He really was sweet and had been more than worried about after both incidences. It only made her feel more guilty. She didn't mean to make him worry about her. She was fine, more worried about him if anything.

Both incidents had been accidents, and now it was just awkward. She felt bad for what was an accident. Israfel kept up his soothing cooing but he worried about her. Solia worried was not a happy Solia, which is what the siren much rather preferred. Her solution however for the whole Jason incident was to leave the man alone. Not think about it. Or try not to.

She was on underwater observation duty for the next hour or so. A perfect time to not think about how she had completely embarrassed herself and made someone feel bad about an accident. Or about abs.

Unfortunately for both parties, a certain Moon trainee had also been scheduled for underwater observation duty. It was something Jason was not familiar with, so it would be a good chance for him to practice keeping a eye out for trouble.

Or just sitting around for a few hours. And hoping he wouldn't see something large and threatening and able to tear him in two.

Though what he saw instead as he walked through the portal was a very familiar death trainee which the sight of made him blush considerably. He had not forgotten the shower accident. Or the fact he had bared all the the poor girl.

Ohh s**t, how was he supposed to deal with this. How in gods name was he supposed to interact with Solia. He was sure she would still feel bad, judging from how she kept apologizing when he had left her. It was a awkward situation and he had no idea what to do or say now.

So he said the first thing that came to mind.

"It's pretty wet down here."

As someone came through the portal Solia turned around expecting a new face she was surprised to see a familiar one. Then her blush came back at just who he was and why he was familiar. Jason was perhaps one of the few who hadn't needed some kind of way to memorize his name or face. After the spar then showers? It was hard to forget a man's face after such. Or other parts of him much to her embarrassment.

As he spoke it just made her blush deepen. Sinking into her chair she tried to not think about double meanings. "Ah..." Her mind fished for words as Israfel bagan to send little worried coos at her. "It's not that wet yet! I was told it gets pretty steam...y." She stopped before rambling to clarify. "Due to breath condensation so you need to run the ac down here and not turn it up."

They were clearly off to a killer start.

Jason was finding it very hard to think at the moment. Not only because of his embarrassment, but Zanthvos had burst into a fit of laughter at what she had just said (Not to mention what he had said. He'd been hanging around his weapon for to long...) He didn't feel like laughing though, especially when she sunk down into her chair.

"Oh..O-of course!" He said quickly agreeing with the death trainee. "Because we're in such cramped conditions, there would be a lot of steam on the windows so it would make perfect sense to have the AC on. Not to mention the area is so cramped and there is so little air circulation that excess from our bodies would heat the room up ...more..."

...T-that wasn't a innuendo. No, nooo, that couldn't possible be interpreted as such, Solia couldn't possibly think he was being a pervert about this.

"H-how was your day?" Jason's voice seemed to break at the end of the sentence as he tried to turn the conversation to a much, much more safer area.

The death trainee knew that Jason was not trying to say the things she was thinking but a mind once set on a train of thought getting off was a bit difficult. Especially when that train was going so fast that you were bound to get whiplash when it stopped. Still she tried to stop her own traitorous thoughts. Jason was hardly flirting with her and as far as she knew, he had no interest in her. All anything had been were accidents. "Cramped. Thankfully I don't take up much room and its not really muggy or anything."

Shuffling in her seat, Solia tried to not curl up into herself. They were accidents. It was rude of her to be treating him as she was. "My day has been good. Did a bit of paper work for a senior hunter and then went for a light jog. Now I just have duty down here followed by helping out in the library." She smiled to herself. "It's nice when I'm in there. Very quiet and I can read after I put everything away."

Okay. Okay, he might just be able to leave this room with his conscious ten feet under. Solia didn't seem to take offense to his wording, and finally...finally they had gone to a topic that seemed safe and wholesome and something he could actually talk about.

Relaxing a little, Jason took a set at the table, opposite the side of Solia. "T-that sounds like a very productive day. And you're right about the library." He smiled in turn. "It's like a little sanctuary away from the world. It's where I like to go, when I'm not training or on missions, and can be at peace."

Still pink in the cheeks, Solia brushed away at the curls that had come loose from her braid and hair. Oh god she was playing with her hair god no guys took that as a sign and it wasn’t a sign and just- Israfel gave a small chuckle, asking if she might be over thinking it. Her mental answer was yes and she could feel his presence wash over her. The siren had a way to soothing her thoughts, of just being a bit like an ocean wave, one that could come in and take it all away. Tracing her finger on the few scuffs on the table, she smiled before looking away from his eyes. Again Israfel chimed up. To avoid him like that was rude. Things would be better if she simple followed her own advice. Accept, and move on.

“I like to be busy. Have my hands working something, even if it’s as simple and filing. When I’m not active I just get a bit restless. Too much energy I’ve been told, no outlet.” Cons had been her creative outlet, and now gone… creativity had shifted to simply work. “But you like to read I guess so.. what do you enjoy reading about.” Her mind was starting to settle. Thank goodness.

The moon trainee wasn't very adapt at reading flirtatious signs, (Actually he had no clue about flirtatious movements because flirting wait what). Though she defiantly was cute, The only thing he could see was that she was uncomfortable, and he didn't want her to feel that way at all. (Considering it was his fault for making her feel that way in the first place...)

But after she began talking, he listened quietly to what she had to say, appearing calm and interested. The death trainee defiantly seemed to be very active.

"It's pretty easy to find something around here to do. Theres always some task or duty that can be done, or even repairs." Jason responded. "Plus it looks good if you volunteer regularly." Which was something he should do more but...yeah.

"What I like to read? Well, I love to read about practical things. I like books that teach me things. Medical journals, text books about the human body. How it works. I also like to read a few light novels every now and then,"

Solia was trying her best to not fidget. Israfel wasn’t quite grasping still what the big issue was. She doubted he ever would. They had a series of accidents that neither had be solely to blame and as a result had landed the pair into the state of being unsure where they should be apologizing though neither could really place why or know when to stop or when it became unnecessary. Hands on the desk, she was trying to be proper, but the space was a bit too small, and when she looked at him with Israfel in the back of her mind bringing up the shower incident-
“Israfel hush.” She looked at her lap when she said it, trying to keep things mental but- Darkening of her cheeks, she looked away. “Sorry he’s being a bit nosy. But yeah. There is a lot of stuff to do. For me, it’s more trying to focus on my division? So repairs and helping with minipets might be good, they won’t advance me further. Which is really, what I need. A death with limited knowledge… probably would get me dead.”

She sighed. “Oh man, that sounded morbid. Um. But yeah books. Light novels- what kinds? Fantasy? Sci-fi? Horror?” She smiled. “Though horror to me is a bit like research. Humans that help halloweeners unknowingly… A bit ironic given our job really.”

"Noisy huh? Don t' worry, I'm quite familiar with a noisy weapon. Zanthvos doesn't like to keep quiet, even for a moment." Even as he spoke, said weapon was doing his best to point out all the lovely curves on Solia, and how they had looked without her clothes on. "It can take some getting used to." There was a slight frown on the moon trainees face, wondering if he had heard that name Israfel before. It had sounded familiar, but he couldn't place the origins.

His frown increased with the notion that she would be dead without knowledge. "It would be perfectly understandable that you don't know much as you're just started...though if theres anything I could help you with, I'd be happy to oblige. I don't know much about death division, but I do have some knowledge about general hunter things, and some halloween and horsemen to boot."

When asked about which books he liked to read, Jason paused for thought. Horror though was out of the question (though sadly he did have to read them for research, no matter how much he didn't enjoy it...) "I..don't have much of a preference. Fantasy and sci fi are interesting, so are comedy, adventure, romance even...."

<...You read romance novels...>

'Shut up I get bored sometimes okay'

'Only if I have nothing else to read!'

"SHUT UP ZANTH I HAVE NEEDS ALRIGHT"

yes. Jason just shouted that out loud.

((ooc: I don't believe Jason ever learned his name OTL))

She chuckled. “Zanthvos? That’s a bit of a mouthful. I’d just call him Zanny, or Zanth.” Pulling the ring off her finger she spun it around for him to see. A simple blue rose, hardly anything special. “Isra, er, Israfel that is, is chatty, but really a sweatheart. He just asks… questions at the wrong time is all. But god yeah. I’ve always had my own mind, now adding in another is… strange. Isra’s nice though. I wouldn’t trade him for anything.” Putting the ring back on she smiled as Jason spoke, relaxing a bit more. So much easier when the conversation wasn’t well.

About things that could be taken out of context. At Jason’s offer however- “That would be great actually. Isra was recently made into a weapon so… knowledge of the current halloweeners would be of great help. I could come over to your dorm later-“ Israfel flashed the image of protection charms in her her, “Or could meet me in the library. Um-“ Needs. He had needs.

Solia froze. Hello blush nice of you to come back. Staring at Jason she began to try and sort “Uh… Needs… Um… Like. Um. Like when a book leaves you wanting more er um… ah… When the next issue hasn’t come out?” She was just red, not sure if anything was innocent anymore.

Jason would of been happy to just, disappear right there. Become a ghost and be invisible for the rest of his life. That would be awesome.

His next words came out as a tumble as he grabbed onto the first thing she had said. "YesyesthatstotalywhatImeantaboutneedsIalwaysgetexcitedforthenextissuetocomeout." Because thats totally what he meant and nothing else indecent because he was not that type of man and -

<...She totally just said she'd come by your dorm later. Dude. DUDE. ARE YOU THAT MUCH OF A PRUDE?!>

Looking like he was in pain, Jason just sighed, and tried to act like nothing had happened. "Israfel sounds like a lovely partner. I'm sure you'll adapt in time. Zanth however...well, he likes to tease me a bit, and he's a bit aloof and doesn't listen...But honesty, I wouldn't trade him either."

There was a moments silence in his head, as his weapon just absorbed what he just said. Though this didn't last long as Jason heard much exaggerated sobbing.

Rubbing his head, the moon trainee continued on. "Zanth is a pain, but there are times he has bailed me out of a tight situation, and he can be supportive...when he wants to."

And then Jason opened up his coat.

......To reveal the broach that was pinned on his chest. A small silver wing, which was the sealed form of his weapon.

Yes, next issue. That was all. There was nothing… sexual about that that. She and Jason were perfect adults here. They could, should just… gloss over it. Nothing had happened. Nothing bad. They were rational and just… accidents. Words lost in translation. “Yes. Exactly.” Sitting upright, she tried to quell the heat in her face short of fanning herself. Then what would she look like? Aside from well… yeah no.

Just focus on the topic. Isra. Israfel was a safe topic. “Yes. It’s been a few months but not too terrible. I mean, I’m alive and well and that is all I can really ask for. Zanth is a bit of a goof? Aw, well I bet he means well deep down. They all chose us for a reason after all. They’re apart of us now, and it’s our job to take care of them, as they take of us. That’s sort of how I see it. But I’m sure you weapon cares about you deep down. Even if he might be showing it a bit poorly. Ah-“ A bit of her blush returned at Jason opening his coat. Why did she keep thinking about his abs? Oh right, because ABS. A small silver pin that looked like a wing.

“Um.. can I… see him?”
PostPosted: Sun Dec 02, 2012 4:11 am

"Yeah, I'm....fairly confident he means well. And he cares for me. In his own...weird way.>

Both weapon and trainee paused when Solia made her request. At first he thought she just wanted to see his summoned form, but then he realized she wanted to actually hold him. Jason hadn't heard of anyone actually touching someone else's weapon. Wasn't that some sort of taboo?

But..it couldn't hurt, at least for a little bit, right?

"S...sure thing.." Unfastening the brooch, Jason slowly handed it to the death trainee. "Just be careful, okay? "

'That goes for you too, Zanth'

It was mostly curiosity on Solia’s part. She just liked the looked of the silver broach, and feathers, wings- Israfel liked how Zanth appeared as well. Both summoned and not, then again Israfel was easy to impress. Keeping her ring on she took the pin gently in her hands, thumb running over the ridges. “He’s certainly beautiful. I didn’t have much thought to really get a good look at him while spar- AH!”
Next thing she knew, she was holding Jason’s weapon, fully summoned in hand.

“Oh my- I… I didn’t mean to do that.” She blushed, giving Jason an apologetic look. She got the impression holding him too long would be bad but- She lifted him a bit, frowning at the weight and size of it. “Your weapon is a lot larger than I remember it being.” She wasn’t thinking. “Longer too. Ahhh…” She gasped, standing to see if she might even- Nope. Not heading anywhere anytime soon. “I think you weapon is a bit large for me. Maybe with training I could wield it properly but it’s just a bit too big for me to handle.” She tilted the hilt back his way. “But all in all your weapon is pretty amazing I think. A lot different than a bow.”

Everything she said had gone completely past her.
