Painite was feeling a new energy, though it was not something wholly unknown to her. It was just something that had been escaping her recently, and she had gotten so complacent that she hadn't noticed it being missing. It was the thrill of a challenge, and the eager burning of fighting for a goal.
She was going to enjoy herself, she needed to have more fun, but she couldn't just do things randomly.
No, she needed more plans in her life. More goals. She had been reintroduced to this idea recently, and while tonight she was not working on what she had been given, she was still taking that idea and applying it.
This was her own task.
She was hunting. Hiding in a tree, she was pushing out her abilities to sense auras as far as they would go, searching for any White Moon auras she could find. Her spear was calling out for something to bite into, and she imagined a shiny new starseed would look nice in her collection.

Painite was the huntress and tonight, Cyllene was her prey. After her last few encounters going rather well with both Negaverse Agents and Dark Mirror Senshi, she felt that she would be safe letting her guard down. Instead of seeking out the Chaotic power signatures of people, Cyllene made it her own personal mission to interrupt other White Mooners trying to dust youma (which didn't typically end well for her). So Painite and her spear and her big fat General aura? None of that crossed Cyllene's mind as she moved through the trees. She felt it, that tingle, but it didn't even register to her as something to watch out for.

The General felt an aura in the area and grinned. Her senses prickled and a shiver of anticipation moved down her spine. She was ready for whatever the night had to offer her, and was hoping that it would be a fun endeavor.
She moved from her hiding place, teleporting instead of walking so she could cover ground faster. It was her favorite method of transportation now, and if she could just teleport through her whole day, civilian as well, she would be perfectly happy.
But she didn't think most people in the day to day would know how to deal with someone just appearing in front of them.
Maybe one day, when the Negaverse had control of the city, but not before then. That was a beautiful vision. She could do that here, though, under the cover of darkness. She appeared near Cyllene, not yet calling her weapon to her but that didn't mean she wasn't dangerous.
"Out for a stroll?"

Cyllene let out a strange, high-pitched noise when the Negaverse General popped into existence right next to her. Oh, it was a girl. Girls weren't scary- most women that she had encountered in the Negaverse and Dark Mirror court had been nothing but pleasant. She flashed the girl a girl and nodded. "Mhm, just enjoying a cold night in a mini skirt. Y'know how we do~" Her head tilted to the side slightly. "You shouldn't sneak up on people like that. For all you know I could've wheeled around and spat acid in your face. Ruuuuuuddddeeee." She waved a dismissive hand in the air. "I suppose the manners of the Negaverse are neither here nor there though," she mused, rambling at the General. What was she out here doing again?

General Painite was definitely pleasant, but only to a specific kind of person. And even that was becoming more rare: being on the side of Chaos wasn't enough any more. Soon, it might not even being in the Negaverse that would be enough to ensure her being nice. But for now, it still counted for something.
She grinned.
"Our manners are better than that of the White Moon, I think. You could have asked how I was, too, you know. Here I am, interested in your night. Well, that's no matter."
She called her weapon to her hand, letting the spear tilt in a lazy grip.
"I think I can ensure that you won't be worrying about the cold in a short while. Things usually heat up, when you're moving. Running, maybe. Screaming would help, too."

"Fair enough," she replied in regards to the manners of the White Moon. After seeing several group meetings, she couldn't really argue that. Cyllene almost felt guilty about asking about Painite's night. She was even a split second away from apologizing and asking a million questions about it. But obviously Painite had something else entirely in mind for this altercation. She took a step back when the spear appeared in Painite's hands, her eyes widening slightly. She licked her lips, which was a nervous habit of hers, as she eyed the spear. Her gaze slipped up to meet Painite's before moving back down onto the weapon while Painite spoke. Running? Screaming? ******** hands raised in front of her and she took another step backwards, swallowing hard.

General Painite was always on a different page, she found. Which was odd to her. Who wouldn't be thinking about getting stabbed to death by her when they met her for the first time? One day she would be very surprised to find someone on that page, but it might be fun.
Maybe it would mean she'd earned herself the kind of vast reputation she wanted. Where she was known and feared. Ah, day dreams.
"Oh, did you catch up now? Where are you going? You'll not get anywhere at that speed, and it certainly won't help the cold night." She laughed and gripped her spear, her fingers tightening to the point where her knuckles were white. It was anticipation, pure and simple. She grinned and lunged, running across the short distance between them and holding her spear like a jousting lance.
Not a fair match, since her opponent was unarmed and there were no actual horses involved, but it worked for her!

General Painite was well on her way to being known and feared, if the terror in Cyllene's eyes was any indication of it. Her eyes dipped down to glance at her white knuckles, then back up to meet Painite's eyes. When Painite came at her with her spear held high, Cyllene's reaction was to--- close her eyes? Yep, close her eyes. Her eyes clamped shut in a panic and her right hand quickly came up to meet her lips. She whispered "Acid Kiss" into her palm, and blew a kiss, spitting citric acid into the air in front of her with hopes that Painite had closed enough space between them for her attack to at least distract her from impaling her on that godawful spear.

"You look a little nervous, little one," Painite cooed softly, even as she ran. She had not expected the poor little White Moon brat to close her eyes and just accept the attack for what it was, but she certainly didn't mind the opening.
Painite had a bad habit of getting a little ahead of herself. She had an acute pride that kicked in at the drop of a hat, and left her boasting and bragging like any typical super villain in the movies and comics. She just couldn't help herself: she enjoyed what she did and more than anything else she loved winning.
When she felt that little thrill start, that promise of victory, it sometimes just ran away with her.
So when acid hit her she was not anticipating it, and she came to a dead stop before reeling backwards a few steps. "Bloody hell! Oh, I see. The little one has some tricks!"

When Painite started yelling at her, Cyllene's eye peaked open to take a look at the Negaverse General who was now reeling backwards from her attack. Apparently she actually did something to her. "I- I'm sorry!" She stammered and cringed. This was going to end badly no matter what Cyllene did. "********, please don't be mad. I didn't mean to! You're just ******** scary. I don't wanna be stabbed!" When she took another few steps back from Painite, Cyllene's back pressed against a tree, trapping her there with a very pissed off General.

Sylent Nyte Lemme know if you want Painite to hurt her or anything! "Yes, well, you're bloody going to be now," Painite said with a scowl and a dark glimmer in her eyes. The scowl gave way to a menacing grin, though, as she gripped her spear and approached closer.
The tree seemed to be on her side, which was fine by Painite. She had a good relationship with inanimate objects, as they often played a role in her traps and tricks, though tonight it was not planned. Still, it pinned the girl between them for now, even if trees weren't as effective as long walls.
Fear was also on her side. It was hard to focus on anything, really, with a big spear in your face. Harder still when the person wielding it was very keen on stabbing.
She moved, done with playing for now and wanting to get her own little revenge in for that little attack before. She stabbed her spear forward, not aiming for anything too vital, though, really, getting stabbed with a weapon like hers was never exactly good for someone.

Bloody was pretty well right on the nose. Cyllene's muscles tensed and she shut her eyes a second time when the spear came at her. Suddenly there was a sharp pain, heat spreading through her body, and a choked sob forcing its way out of her. "Please don't kill me," she sobbed, suddenly the usually confident girl was completely incapacitated in front of Painite. She wasn't going to put up a fight, she knew that she didn't have a chance in hell in fighting back- instead all she could do was beg. "Please... I'll do anything." Lithia_Brandon Please do! Up to you where she was stabbed 8D

The General smiled at that, looking down at the spear that was now newly homed in the flesh of this girls hip. It had to be painful, and Painite imagined that without that little blessing of heightened healing that senshi and the others were graced with, the spear would leave some bad damage.
As it was, it would likely heal up with only a scar. Still, it was bleeding and probably hurt like hell, which was just what Painite liked.
"And what would you do that I could possibly like more than seeing you dead?" she cooed softly, holding the spear in one hand and moving the other to dance her fingers over her chest. She walked her hand leisurely, tapping her finger against her breast plate thoughtfully.
"I could turn you into a monster, you know. That wouldn't be killing you: I'd be doing just what you want. Would you prefer that?" Her touch was drawing energy out of Cyllene as she spoke, though not at a rapid rate, since Painite didn't want her passing out right away.

Cyllene's own eyes traveled to follow the spear, which was neatly seatedd in her hip. Her head instantly began spinning- whether from the energy being drained for her or the sight of her own blood she was unsure. She groaned as she watched blood drip down her legs and stain both her fuku and her boots. Well, this definitely sucked. "I... I don't know," was her immediate response in regards to what she could possibly do to satisfy the stabby General. Her gaze snapped back up to meet Painite's. "OKay maybe not that?" She flashed her a hopeful, stupid-looking, lop-sided grin. She let out a heavy sigh as the energy was drawn out of her, not realizing that her entire body tightened when Painite's fingers tapped on her chest.

Painite smiled. It was such a gentle expression, but in the context of the moment it only seemed so much more cruel than anything else. She was so amused, so delighted, watching the blood drip slow down from her spear.
She looked forward to pulling the weapon out, knowing there would be more color, a deeper, larger stain on this senshi's little fuku. That was always a delight to see.
She chuckled.
"I like you," it didn't sound like the nicest thing in the world. Definitely not something someone would want her to say or feel, "I think I'm going to keep you around for a little, if you're tough enough. I'm going to pay you visits, and see how you're doing. This was just so nice, I want to do it more." She was acting like they had just had a nice cup of tea together.
But she meant the stabbing.
Stepping back, she abruptly pulled the spear from the senshi's side, and drew out a good bit of energy before she pulled her hand away and looked at the little glowing ball in delight. It really was pretty, and each one was always different, in its own way. But not as pretty as starseeds were.
Painite would enjoy taking that one out of this new little toy, eventually, when she got tired of her.
"Try not to bleed to death before I can see you again, okay?"
