A bright, strangely colored orb appeared in front of Zyk. It whirled, flashing and changing colors, down and around Mephisto's head.

Zyk could barely maintain his flight, let alone attack. The last charge beam blasted him nearly out of the air. Still, he persevered and sent out another orb.

Zyk fainted and his trainer quickly returned him to his pokeball. "That was a good battle!" she called across the stadium. Then she left, hurrying to heal her hard-working zubat.
