Lameira had followed a certain lion here, and had seemed to lose him. She had grown frustrated with that male, and was determined to tell him so. She had a slightly irritated look upon her face, but by the hour it was going away. She couldn't stay angry for long, even if she wanted to so badly. Her ears were back, and her face was grumpy, yet she was slowly forgetting WHY she was angry at him. She would remember soon enough, the moment she'd see the male's face.

Kesikas was right behind Lameira, trying to keep up. She didn't know why the lioness was in a bad mood. She normally told her everything. Something told her it had to do with that male lion. They had followed him here, and didn't know why. Kesikas had only recently become friends with Lameira after another lion had tried to kill her for no reason at all. Lameira stepped in, and since then here Kesikas was. She loved Lameira much like a little kid would love their big sister. "Do we have to go so fast, Purple Haze?" She asked curiously. It had been the name she started calling her friend since they entered the lands.

Lameira stopped, her pink eyes looking to her small friend, ears slowly coming back up to a normal happy look upon her face. "I'm sorry, Kesikas." She said, admitting this probably wasn't for the best. She'd find him sooner or later, and he'd hear a mouth full when she did.

Thank the gods for small miracles. The tension was defused, they had their new blood, and a means in which to keep new blood from becoming a scarce resource. They had a few new princes, and a lovely new member with a sharp tongue to match her pointed wit. In all, it was a good ending to a long day. Unfortunately, the gypsy queen was already exhausted with her duties. It was proving to be too much for her and her eldest daughter was not too keen on taking her mother's place. So it would have to go to one of the younger ladies of the litter.

Riddlemouth ran a paw over his face, clearing some of the salt water from it. He wasn't keen on swimming but a good splash from one of the many small creeks running into the sea always brought him happily back to reality, cleared his head, and did a fair job of cleaning him up.

Now to find his own queen. That was a task that was proving most difficult.

He glanced up, scenting a stranger, and narrowed his dark eyes. He often traveled the border, stepping just beyond it so if a rogue decided to trespass it would be a safe distance from the pride. Renaissance had yet to finish his traps so it was back to the most basic method of border defense- direct confrontation.

He walked forward, his head tossed up and his shoulders rolled back. A proud, confidant stride leading him forward. A purple speck followed closely by a smaller purple speck was making her way, quite directly, towards the territory. Perhaps she had some ties to the Bahari... he'd not risk it.

"I'll have to ask you to stop where you are." He called out, politely but his voice full of warning. "You come a little close for comfort. Have you lost your way or has your way pulled you in an unfortunate direction?"

Lameira stopped almost instantly when she heard the voice. For a split second, she had thought it had been the lion she was looking for. Once her eyes finally adjusted to the sudden shock of another, however, she realized it was not. Though, she hadn't warned poor Kesikas of her stopping that the little Klipspringer ended up running into the back of her legs. This started Lameira a little bit.

"I'm looking for a lion," she started, she didn't hesitate with it, she could tell he was all about business at the moment. "He was going this way." She looked at the male with confidence, now that she got herself slightly under control. She paid no mind to her little purple friend, who was now hiding behind her legs. She knew Kesikas had run ins with lions, and took a bit to warm up to them. "He told me to find him around here..." At least she thought he did. She could have miss heard the lion.

She was still mad at the male she was following, but even know her steam was slowly disappearing as she continued to forget why she was mad at him. This little encounter didn't help matters too much, other than giving her another reason to stay mad at him.

Kesikas peeked out behind Lameira's legs every now and then. After running into the lioness, she wanted to keep out of the way, and try not to be noticed too much. She was a shy thing, when it came to running into others. Though it helped a lot being with her new found friend.

The male smirked. She was looking for someone. Someone who had directed her here. Well that was ... interesting. Hopefully this someone had intentions to keep the lady here or to cover his tracks back into their territory. Welcoming strangers into the territory was not exactly...the wisest thing a gypsy could do. Certainly not one who wanted to keep their skin for very long.

"That way you say?" He glanced in the way she had indicated. Their territory. "Well now, madam, I must be honest. Lions who come this way aren't always the most sane of individuals. A madness burns within them."

He looked back to her and flicked his tail. "You see here... the rocks have eyes. The sands breathe and the sea whispers a song at night. Here the light off the water is as good as gold. Tell me. What brings you so... close to such a place? What draws you to this male? Has he charmed your heart? Or... are you just a curious traveler?"

If Lameira's blush could seep through her fur, it'd be almost a bright shade of red. She'd never expected to be asked so many questions, especially questions about the one lion she had been angry at. "Well... I... Er....I.." She started. She hadn't admitted to anyone her feelings of the lion she was chasing, but it was obvious to anyone who saw them together. Even if she sometimes wanted to smack his head in with her paws.

She had a mix of feelings rush through her. He was making her doubt she wanted to go into the direction that she was to find him, but he had told her to find him. Told her to meet him there. Even if he did run off, she couldn't let him wait for ever. "My... heart is his." She said in a whisper.

It wasn't like she needed to tell this lion in front of her, but he seemed to be some sort of guard in this area. Maybe it was his job to know? She didn't want to question it, perhaps he was just trying to scare her so she wouldn't want to continue her journey.

Kesikas was hoping Lameira would change her mind and turn around and they'd go the other way. She didn't like this lion, and she didn't like to hear that rocks had eyes... Were they watching them now? Goose bumps crawled through her skin, it felt like. Though, she kept silent. She didn't want to make things worse. She was, after all, invisible... Stay still and keep behind her new friend and everything would be fine.It didn't cross her mind that, perhaps, Lameira couldn't always protect her.
