Jake hadn’t been doing mission reports. Which was.. distressing to say the least. They were supposed to do them. It was required. Even she was supposed to do them! Plus if no one did them… what would she be left to do or file or read while in the death offices? Nothing but more coffee runs most likely. But Jake was a newbie like her. A few months in true, but new as new could be. It was important! They were intel after all! And if they didn’t provide the intel, who would? Nobody that’s who. Jake had a duty to her and their fellow death hunters to fill out his mission reports. And Solia was going to be helpful and remind him to do so.
And harass him about well. Artifacts.

Jake only stared with dismay at the sheets in his hand that Solia had given him earlier.
He really didn't understand the whole hype about reports. They seemed pointless and redundant. They were HUNTERS for crying out loud, not... accountants, or... people who dealt with paperwork, or... whatever. They were involved with dangerous stuff like fighting. Each and every battle could be their last. Why would they waste time on reports? It was utterly stupid.
...why am I even in Death? I'd rather be fighting.
Jake scoffed.
Though he hadn't seen him yet, or heard directly from the source, he had caught wind that their "illustrious" leader was back, and still alive and kicking. Guess Gale was right about the whole "cockroach" analogy, though to Jake, he held a lot more respect for him then that.
"Shame he didn't kill them."
He had no idea one of those hunters was actually Gale.
Looking the sheets over once more, he groaned, and tossed them onto the bed. "I'll do them later." he muttered, getting up, and walked over to the door. When he opened it though, he nearly slammed it shut again.
Oh god stalker girl. What was she doing in front of his room? ... How did she find him? ... HOW DID SHE EVEN GET HIS NUMBER IN THE FIRST PLACE?!
This was very, very worrying.

Alas, such information was not classified. She had simply pulled up his basic file and read it. She might have done that on everyone she could have. Why? Because how else was Solia expected to find anyone? Facts like room numbers were much easier on her mind than faces and names, that was for sure. Bouncing in her heels, the girl gave her scarf a toss around her neck.
"Hi Jake!" Israfel had been helping, chanting the boys name so she wouldn't forget it right off the bat. One hurdle down for the Solia turtle. "I came by to see how those mission reports are coming along! I've noticed that other reports have come in and you've been noted to having gone on a few yet still..." She gave him a smile. "If you need help filling them out I can help you. You'll still need to word them but I can show you how to file them and get them into the database. It's not a long process, maybe an hour if the computer gets fussy but that hardly ever happens!"
She was just the Chatty Cathy today.

No. No. Nononononono this was not happening. ALL he wanted was a day to himself to train, a day to HIMSELF. The LAST thing he wanted to do was spend a day with stalker girl.
So what. This was HIS room. He was entitled to some privacy here, was he not?
"They're coming along greatttttttttt" he lied. "I'm just gonna do some training. I'll finish them later."
The more she described the process, the more he didn't want to do it. An hour? He was NOT wasting an hour trying to file it in some stupid database that was probably not going to be of any use. Obviously, he didn't know that was how Solia had managed to get all the information she had on his location and number.

Yes. Yes yes yes this was happening and there was nothing you could do to stop it Jake. Solia had found you, and now she was not likely to be letting go. It never occurred to Solia that he would want a day off but then, she was focused. Paperwork needed to get done after all.
A quick look past Jake and into his room got a scowl. She saw the papers, and she recognized where they from. She'd given those to him after all. And from the looks of them, not a pen marking in sight. Brown eyes narrowed and she pressed herself just a Teansy bit into his room.
"Training huh? I've seen you out there you know. A lot. You spend more time there then in the offices I think." She smiled. "How about you take a break and show me what you have done so far. After all, you're not a sun! Nobody really expects us to spend all our time training after all."
Israfel wondered if she should be going into the boil's room. One did not simply walk into a boil's room after all.

Her question only earned her a scoff. "So what if I didn't do some measly paperwork? Who cares? If you want to do them so badly, BE MY GUEST."
Was he... telling her to do his mission reports for him? Quite possibly, yes. Was this a good idea? Probably not. But he really didn't care.
Being 5"7', he only stared down at her with a frown as she tried to get into the room. What was with this girl and paperwork?
"What I do with my time is my OWN business, ok? Why don't you just run along now. Don't you have other people to pester?"

His scoff was returned with one of her own. Who cared? Well, surprisingly a lot of people. And they well... They were higher ring than her.
"Well I care. You know what happens when we don't do mission reports?" She didn't, but then she was an obedient little worker. "Bad things. Punishment. Do you really want to get on the bad side of our superiors? Not all of them are nice. And I CAN'T do them for you! They'll know! Jake please."
A pout, she was not going to bend. Or leave anytime soon. "I did my work and now I'm here to make it my business okay? I don't want to see you in trouble. You're a death. We don't want to tempt fate." Not with the lead back. The lead Solia had learned was best left alone. Like a honey badger.

He smirked. "Oooh, am I going to get a time-out for not doing my homework? Slaps on the wrist?" Clearly, he had never been on the receiving end of Caelius' scythe, and thus had no idea what horrors awaited him should he shun his duties.
When she kept pleading him though, he only huffed. "Why do you care so much? You don't even know me, and I BARELY know you."Quote: She's probs going to have to take drastic measures to make him do those mission reports, or something. He's so stubborn. :T

"More like the boss will hurt you! He sent people to the infirmary before okay? And like- haven't you heard the stories if like, people being put back into pods for not doing their work or messing up? I mean, that's just terrible! We just woke up! Nobody wants to go back." Not her at least. It was much better to be alive thank you very much.
Seeing however that Jake was not likely to move anytime soon, Solia figured she would have to. Barging into his room, the petite death trainee sat herself down on his bed, arms cross, a smile on her face. "I care because I don't want to see anything bad happen to others if I can help it. Now, do your mission reports. I'll help you even, get them in order and what not."

... Wait. Was that... possible? Would they really be put back into those pods? To him, it was worse than death, being forced to sleep when you were still alive and kicking. Hell, even death would be a more welcome outcome, because it meant you reached the end of the road. Being stuck back in a pod.
... no. He didn't want to go back. The thought made him freeze, and he hadn't noticed that Solia had pushed past him and went into his room, until she mentioned "mission reports" again.
Blinking, he turned, and ended up staring at her. When did she... what... UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
He crossed his arms and glared at her. "Get out. Right. Now." This was getting ridiculous.

"I will once you do your mission reports."
She remained smiling on his bed, unmoving. Alas, death was filled with the stubborn ones.

Apparently so, much to his dismay. It didn't occur to him that he was probably grouped as one of the "stubborn" ones also.
"I swear, if you don't get out right now, I'm going to hoist your sorry a** out this door."
Don't test him, Solia, don't test him. He will do it. Yes he will.

Solia just pulled out her phone. "How about I call up one of our superiors and tell them that there is a trainee who is withholding valuable intel from his missions. Info that if other divisions found out about, would put us at a disadvantage." She smiled like she hardly just threatened him.
"Also I like being carried. It's fun." The benefit of being tiny.

Jake only glared at the phone, wondering how easy it would be to crush it in his hands.
He grit his teeth, contemplating on tossing her out himself. She was a tiny thing, it wouldn't be hard.
Not you too.
The image of the gauntlet from a blond hunter being torn off his arm and slashed into flashed across his mind.
FINE.
Walking back into the room, he stood over Solia and crossed his arms. "If I do them, will you LEAVE?"
