So what's everyone's favourite things from 2012?
(I know it's not quite over yet but you've probably got some ideas)

I'm talking films, TV shows, books, albums, songs, anything that came out this year that you absolutely loved and will happily take to 2013.

Films: I really loved The Avengers and Frankenweenie... Music: not positive of what came out this year, but I do rather love Somebody That I Used To Know and the album Night Visions by Imagine Dragons. TV: Season 2 of Sherlock, the first part from season 7 of Doctor Who, the second half from season 3 of Community. Books: Haven't really read anything that came out this year.

As far as things that didn't come out this year, but I discovered/started liking (I know, that's cheating): the big one would be Daniel Day-Lewis. But, he did have a movie this year, so I suppose it's not completely cheating. emotion_awesome

@Ittarus: I loved the Avengers a lot too. And it lead to me discovering a hidden love of comic books that has spawned into a steadily growing collection... So if we start counting things we discovered all my favourite comic books should probably go on that list (although some were only released this year!)
