There is a calmly moving stream here in the forest that has been known to carry all sorts of fish.
From Large to small, This place is a great source of food.

Gabriel yawned slightly stretching out a bit in the process. Looking around he found himself nearby a stream and enjoyed such a lovely day. "It's such a beautiful day, nothing can go wrong." He really liked the sunny days and the crystal clear waters of the stream he was sitting by just really enjoying life.

Aqua walked in her human form along a stream she found, the shell bells on her skirt jingled with each step she took. She was a peculiar looking thing, which wasn' that much of a surprise considerig she was a mermaid. Aqua followed the stream downwards to the lake it led to. Seeing all the fish reminded her of home. Rowan stopped when she spotted the lake and smiled softly. She walked over to the lake edge and set her supplies down so she could relax on a patch of grass and bask in the sun. A quick break before she set out on her trek again.

Gabriel got up and followed the stream just letting the day guide him when he came across a lake and a quite beautiful young woman he smiled and walked over to say hello since it would only be polite to see if he could help out, it's just in his nature. "Hello, it's nice to meet you. My name is Gabriel, is there anything I can do to help?" He looked genuinely kind and actually like he wanted to help. That's just how he was.

Aqua was lost in her own thoughts as she looked into the lake's clear surface, watchig the schools if fish glide through the water. She was tempted to jump in for a swim, but knew better than that. This was only a temporary break. Getting distracted would slow her down...
Aqua was interupted from her thoughts by a male voice. Alarmed, she sprung up, grabing her bag, and spun to face him as she drew her dagger from her bag. She backed away from him. A filthy man! she thought. Great, just when she was relaxing... "No. As you can see, I was taking a break until you interuppted me. I require no assistance." she said. He had a kind face. Most suspicious.

Gabriel shot his hands up defensively both of them open palmed to show he was unarmed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to intrude. I'm only walking around trying to find my way. I will leave you be now... Since that's what you are wanting." He then backed away carefully so as to not startle her and walked along the bank of the lake. He seemed to be enjoying the sounds of the waters around them, and didn't cause her any trouble.

Aqua stared at the odd man. Seeing him lift his arms, she hoped he got the message. She sighed and pit her dagger back in her bag once he backed away. "Fine... go away, I don't like your kind." she said simply. Aqua sat back on her spot of grass.

Gabriel stopped hearing her say your kind and turned back towards the girl. "That's not fair. There's not very many of my kind left in existence." He stated looking as if his feelings were hurt, not angry or willing to attack but still hurt. How could she judge him based on something out of his control.

"Human males? Heh, hardly... you lot breed like rabbits." she said with a frown, turning back towards the lake. She couldn't sense his darker side clearly, so assumed he was an ordinary human. "Shoo, go away. Scram. You're ruining my break." she said.

Gabriel changed to a look of confusion and sat down, looking at the water as he did so. "Why do you judge me based on my appearance, or my species? That's not fair to the individuals." He didn't show any kind of signs that he was going to hurt her if anything his face showed confusion and curiosity at the same time. He really wasn't like any human guy would be.

Aqua frowned when he sat beside her and looked at him, seeing his calm expression. It was indeed odd. Why did he persist? "Hmph, didn't you hear me? I said go away! It's none of your business, though men don't deserve any trust." she said. "Bat your eyes all you want, you're not swaying me." Aqua abruptly stood and glared at him before walking the opposite direction. She might have been a bit irattional in her actions, but she justified it with her experiences.

He was too nice for that. "How can you judge someone based on what they are instead of who they are?" He walked alongside the girl trying to get to know her. Obviously there was something he could help her with if she was like this to anyone who happened to be a human male. He was more interested in her with ever passing moment and wanted to help.

Aqua felt her temper flare. She stopped and spun to face him, annoyance clear on her face. "You persist too much for a stranger. I can't imagine how anyone can put up with someone so pesky." she said. Aqua waved her arm across her, a wave of water from the lake flew towards him, enveloping it in him before dragging him into the lake and lettig go. "As I said, it is none of your business. Stop bothering me, unless you're begging to get hurt." she threatened. Aqua turned and continued to head away, quickening her pace.

Gabriel sighed before walking out of the lake and back over to the girl. Even after she attacked him he didn't show any signs of wanting to fight back, in fact it was quite the opposite. He looked like he felt bad for her and wanted to help. "Would it help if I switched to my alternate form?" He asked refusing to let her walk alone by herself. He didn't even know her name yet but still wanted to help.

Aqua huffed and stopped to look at him again. "No." she said bluntly. She was surprised he bothered to crawl out of the lake to talk to her. She expected him to stay in the lake. "Why do you insist on helping me so much? You don't even know me." she said, crossing her arms. Her temper was still at bay. Waiting.
