Roll an Eight: City Streets Field: Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road are sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there. Fake building walls, complete with broken glass windows and grime lining the surface, limit the amount of maneuverable space on land. Trash cans and trash bags decorate the street. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air which, unfortunately, helps spread the horrible stench of the trash. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to POISON type attacks.

Cara walked into the stadium with Spirit hovering next to her. They surveyed the field and were already calculating strategies. The two then made their way to the field and conversed quietly, Cara giving the Vibrava a confidence boost before sending her off onto the field. Cara then got into the trainer's box and got ready for the battle.

Lenore entered the stadium, Mephistopheles at her side. The girl sent out Jin-Gitaxias, who immediately surveyed his surroundings.

Spirit automatically went to work. She zipped towards Jin, her jaws aglow. When she was upon him she bit down on him as hard as she could.

Jin-Gitaxias was bitten, and he unleashed a poison that stripped the surrounding area of its heat.

Spirit shuddered and was sent flying back once more as the attack hit and small icicles formed on the tips of her feet and wings. She regained her composure quickly though and sped up her wings, breaking off the ice and warming herself up.

Cara shouted out their next move once she saw that Spirit was ready. "Use Earth Power"

Spirit nodded and zipped to the ground hovering for a moment before starting to glow. She then did a somersault in the air and pounded her feet into the ground. The power she was gathering then entered the ground and suddenly jagged rocks started erupting from the streets of the field.

Spirit flew back again, but fought back against the biting cold. She then went to the ground and made it erupt around Jin in her attack.

Spirit was hit hard and as consequence she fell onto the ground and tumbled. Cara cringed and winced as her pokemon took the hit hard, her own hands fisting themselves.

Spirit managed to get herself up and back into the air, she wasn't going down without a fight. "Brrava!" She called to Cara, ready for the next move.

Cara nodded, ready to fight on. "Alright, use bite again!"

Spirit flew forward, her jaws glowing as she went to bite her opponent.

Spirit could fight no longer as the harsh icy wind bit at her. It hit her hard and she flew back and into a building. She then slumped down to the ground, unable to get up. Spirit was defeated.

Cara sighed, she knew when they were beat. Spirit had done a great job. Cara pulled out Spirit's pokeball and held it out. "Spirit return!" She called out. Spirit was pulled back into the pokeball by the red beam of light and once back inside the ball, Cara looked down at it. "You did a stupendous job Spirit, take a nice long rest." Cara then waved to her opponent and smiled. "Thanks for a great battle!" She then ran out of the stadium and headed for the nearest Pokemon Center.
