Rolled a three: Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks

Cara made her way into the stadium with Arrow flying next to her. The bird loved to fly and Cara couldn't help but let him. They approached the field and Cara sent Arrow out onto the field with some words of encouragement. Arrow crowed confidently and set out to win the battle.

Rory stepped into the arena and enjoyed the surroundings for a moment as Stella scurried down his arm. He watched as the Pidgeotto flew to its spot on the field and nodded to Stella. She returned his nod and took her place across from the bird.

Rory took a breath and looked between his opponent's pokemon and his own as he decided what to use for his first attack.
"Stella," he called out, "start out with Thunder!"
The Pachirisu gave a cry as she charged up and sent a large bolt of thunder towards the Pidgotto.

Arrow was sent back by the electrical shock but he quickly shook it off. "Use Mud Slap Arrow!" Cara called out once the bird seemed alright. He rushed back at the electrical squirrel and dove down towards the dirt and started flinging mud at the Pachirisu, essentially trying to slap her with mud.

Stella shuddered as she was hit by the mud and did her best to wipe as much of it off as she could.
Rory watched the bird and debated over what to use next, "Stella, try a spark next!"
The pokemon charged up as much as she could and sent the electricity towards the bird.

Arrow cried out as the electrical attack hit and sent him flying back a bit. He gathered his wits about him as quick as he could and got back into the fight.
Cara watched carefully, calculating their next move. She knew they were at a disadvantage due to the fact that Stella was an electrical type. "Keep up the good work Arrow, you're doing great. Use Toxic!"
Arrow nodded, crowing an affirmative and rushed forward. When he got close enough, he...spit forth the toxic balls of poison at the shocking squirrel.

Rory watched as the bird attempted to send out a toxic cloud of gas but smirked when Stella managed to avoid most of it.
Stella managed to stay clear of most of the gas but coughed before unleashing another thunder bolt towards the bird.

Arrow once again was sent backwards by the electric attack, making Cara cringe. She hated the disadvantage but that was how the balance system worked, she just had to figure out a way to work around it. Arrow regained altitude and readied his next attack. "Use Thief!" Cara called out. Arrow cawed out his affirmative and quickly dove at Stella, claws extended. [ Move Used in This Post: Thief] [ Moves Used Thus Far: Thief, Toxic, Mud-slap] [ HP: 450/900]

Stella shrieked as Arrow's claws hit their mark, causing Rory to wince. At least for now they had the advantage, he thought.
"Hang in there and light that bird up!" he called as he watched the bird carefully.
Stella winced herself as she recovered from her attack before sending yet another blast of lightning towards the Pidgetotto.

Arrow was sent back again by the hit. He crowed his aggravation and pain then went back on the offense. "Hit 'em again with Mud-Slap!" Cara yelled out.
