Clash of the Zodiacs Separated by a burning hatred that grew over the centuries, 12 descendants from spiritual beings clash in a bloody war to determine who shall rule over the others. Some however, find love which complicates the war even more. Others who were already in love turn their backs to one another and fight till their very last breath. Will love be able to stop this on going war? Or will they bow down to one victorious being who will rule for the next 100 years? Rules1. No God-modding during fights

 Just because I don't have a home...

"AAAAAAAH!", a middle-aged man yelled as he ran away from the large wolf that was in front of him. Akira stepped out from her hiding spot, and recovered the bag of breadsticks the man had dropped as he ran out of the alley. She looked back at the large wolf behind her as it slowly faded away. There was no real wolf there, it was all an illusion she had made. This was how she had to survive after all. She began to walk back to the forest, where her current "home" was, while eating the warm breadsticks along the way. 'It seems like my illusions are getting stronger, that's good to know', she thought to herself. 'I still can't get to whole "zodiac" thing out of my mind though...I'm supposed to fight in a war of other people that I don't know who represent the 11 other zodiac? Seems pretty pointless to me. I have other important things to do, I have to continue to hunt and find shelter. Now that I think about it, I should probably leave this town by tomorrow. I've been here for too long, their most likely after me by now', she thought as a raindrop fell onto her right ear, making it twitch against it. Akira looked up and sighed to herself. 'Guess I better hurry on home', she thought as she began to run down the alley as the rain started to fall harder, clutching the now closed bag of breadsticks. It would be a waste if they got soggy after all.

 Nema was at the concert and started to sing to her fans. The band was playing loud and the fans scream out in joy. Nema smiles and continues singing. When the concert was done, Nema was escorted out then Nema said to the driver as he pulled up to her home,"thanks for the ride," then she came out of the car and then as she came out then she say Akira running out of the rain then she said to the girl,"Excuse me, do you need a place to get out of the rain?"

Sitting there relaxing and listening to the sweet sound of rain pitter patter. He could have sworn he had heard someone run by, but then again, he could never be sure because he couldn't see them. The rain began to soak his hair, but he didn't mind. The rain was actually peaceful to him, it made him feel a little less lonely. Ever since he had left home to go and join this so called "war" that was going on, things had been out of place and weird. His green eyes blinked as he stared into total blackness as his hands traced up and down the side of the branch he was sitting on. The bark felt rough and uncomfortable. To pass the time, Leonel began to whistle, something he had grown to do a lot since he was most of the time alone. It was a happy little tune, that cut through the light sound of rain. ╄━ζ

Akira stopped running as a woman with black hair called out to her. It had been a while since someone spoke to her, without yelling of course, so it took her a moment to reply. "Uh, it's alright...I have some shelter out in the forest...I'll be fine", she replied while trying to keep her ears padded down on her head to keep the woman from noticing. Staying at someone's home would be a good choice for her, since it would keep her out of the rain better than thick trees, which was all she had at the moment. Geez, why did no one in this town have an empty shed or barn?
Suddenly, one of her ears unconsciously perked up at the sound of a whistle. A bit shocked that her dogs ears were now revealed to the woman, Akira said "I-I have to go...", as she ran to where the whistling was coming from. By the time she realized she ran in the wrong direction, the rain already got much heavier. With a sigh, Akira sat under a tree, and began to eat one of the breadsticks. It was still warm and dry. 'At least this wasn't wasted', she thought as she began to eat it. Her ear perked up again, and she realised she was closer to the whistle from before. She looked up and found a boy sitting on one of the branches. "Uh...hello..."

~Nema Colden~ Nema saw the ears on the girl, she reached out to her but she took off then she thought to herself,"I hope she will be ok.." then she goes inside her home. She puts her coat on the coat rack then she looks at her mail. A black german shepherd walks over to her and nudges her leg. Nema pets him and then she smiles,"Hey, Cearo..how is my number one bodyguard?" then Cearo barks happily and wags tail. Nema sets her mail done then she looks at a picture of her brother then she smiles,"and yet another day..you are still gone from this world.." then she starts up her own recording system then she places head phones on her head then she started to sing her the last song for her album. ((this Song..))

Her teeth chattered and she rubbed the sides of both her arms in an attempt to warm herself. Her zodiac counterpart definitely did not like the scorching heat, but no one said she liked the cold either. Probably the reason for the girl's low body temperature was how skimpy her clothes were for this kind of weather. All she was wearing was a summer dress, but that was only because she had been out of the city for so long. She couldn't buy any sufficient clothing to match the weather, thus she returned to the city with only the clothes she had on when she left as a preteen and some thin dresses her mother managed to make her out of the little silk material she had left.
"Why is it so c-c-cold?" the brunette asked to no one with a slight frown. "I'm so tired..." She walked through the park area and sat down on one of the benches there. She was completely soaked from the rain and hungry too, considering she hadn't had anything to eat since she made it back to the city. She tucked her numb knees in with a moment's effort and crossed her arms over them. She didn't know what to do. She was cold, starving, and rather miserly since her mother died. That was why she had to go back to the city anyways, besides wanting a new beginning to her life.
She closed her eyes and then suddenly heard someone whistling pretty close to where she was. When he suddenly heard a voice he was startled,enough to fall back from his sitting spot and to the ground with a rather loud thud. Laying there in pain for a moment or two he groaned and then sat up, rubbing the back of his head that he had hit. Then his head turned towards where the small voice had come from. He stared ahead of him in hope that there would be a person in front of his instead of him looking at nothing, "Hello there, you are there correct?" Leonel asked, just to make sure. He sat there, perfectly still. ╄━ζ

Akira was startled when the boy fell out of the tree. She placed the bag of breadsticks down, and crawled over to him. She could sense his pain and confusion. "Yes...I'm right here", she replied while cautiously placing a hand where he hit his head to inform him where she was. "Are you alright? That was quite a fall...Sorry I startled you."

"Well that's a relief, I thought I was talking to myself for a moment.'' The emotion on his face never seemed to change as he wondered who he was chatting with, by the voice he could tell it was a girl, a small one. "Yea, i'm perfectly fine, a little fall never hurt anyone." Leonel's hands felt the floor around him, wet grass. How far had he fallen? He smiled none the less and tried to be friendly to the stranger, after all, for her to leave would be an awful shame. He blinked his large eyes and tried to look around, as if trying to find where the girl's face was at, though he could never be sure. "Who are you?" Leonel asked bluntly. ╄━ζ

Akira removed her hand, but stayed next to the boy. She could still sense his confusion. "I'm...uh, you can call me...Akira...", she replied. It still felt weird to her to introduce herself as Akira. After all, it was just a nickname the old woman gave her in place of her daughter, right? It wasn't her real name. But it was as close to one as she could get, since her parents didn't even name her...If they did, it was most likely something along the lines of "abomination". "What's your name?", she asked.
She then glanced up as more rain began to fall down. She didn't even care that she was drenched with rain anymore. She looked back over at the bag of breadsticks on the tree. They still seemed pretty dry, there were only a few drops of rain on the tan paper bag. "Are you hungry?", she asked, turning back to the boy. "I have a couple of breadsticks left."

It sounded almost ...sinister and serpent like. It was strange that Akira hadn't acted a certain way around him yet. Most people were usually caught off guard by the way he would just stare off into the distance blankly and not pay attention to them, even though he really was. A name? Did the dear ask for a name? "Leonel." He told her, wondering if it was okay to do so. She didn't seem like any harm..but for some odd reason...he smelt wet dog. At the mention of food his stomach growled, eager to be filled. It was crazy to take food from a complete stranger, but...when was the next time he would come across free food? "Bread sticks? Bread in the form of sticks? Sounds delicious." Maybe if he stayed a little longer..he could get an image of the girl in his mind. ╄━ζ

"Nice to meet you Leonel", she replied, though a bit confused when he whispered her name. She gave a slight smile when he agreed to the "bread in the form of sticks". "Alright", she replied as she crawled back over to the tree to retrieve the bag of breadsticks. After inspecting the actual breadsticks to make sure they weren't secretly soggy, she walked back over and sat back down, covering the bag as best as she could with her hand. "Here you go", she said as she put a breadstick into his hand, still covering it with her hand so it wouldn't get wet. She was a bit surprised he didn't yell for the cops or anything yet. Most people did, after all she had dog ears and a tail for crying out loud. Maybe her ears were patted down on her head so much by the rain he didn't notice? No...it was impossible for them to be THAT padded down. She brushed some of her hair out of her face and she looked of into the distance with her advanced sight. She could make out the what looked to be an abandoned barn, with it's faded-red doors slowly swinging back and forth. It seemed like the rain was growing heavier, and the wind was picking up it's pace. "Do you want to go eat the rest of these in the barn over there? It will help keep them from getting gross and soggy."
((OOC: Happy Thanksgiving! (It's 12:46am where I am at the moment :3) It's also my brother's birthday! biggrin )) ...doesn't mean I'm not strong

He took a bite and chewed slowly, enjoying the taste of good food. While he chewed silently he began to think. "Why is she being so nice...doesn't she know not to talk to strangers? Specially ones who fall out of trees randomly..." He smiled to himself at the thought. He had finished the bread stick and was feeling much better then he had been. He was surprised to hear that there was a barn a little ways away from here. Wow, he was sure missing out on a lot. Leonel stood up and stretched his arms over his head, "The barn it is then, Akira." Without another word he began to walk, probably going the wrong way...heck he couldn't tell, this place was new and scary.

Akira covered the bag of remaining breadsticks, and began to walk next to Leonel towards the barn. About half-way, she noticed that he was about to walk right into a tree. "Careful", she said as she tugged him away from the direction of the tree by his sleeve. "I don't think you should run into a tree right after falling out of one", she said as she let go of his sleeve. By the time they reached the barn, the rain and wind were at their hardest. Akira opened the door and peered inside. All that was there were some old cabinets, piles of hay, and stacks of rotted wood. "It's pretty roomy for an abandoned barn...all the others I've seen were covered with trash and junk", she said as she entered the barn with her tail swaying back and forth.
