■ (One) Power: Water manipulation: Not really her own power but because she is a sea serpent she has a familiarity to it. Which helps her with the water under the bandages attached to her arm that work as a prosthetic arm. The bandages keeps the water from drying out too quickly and from dripping all over the place.
■ Personality:
Simple: A smile to Jor is almost all that she needs from a person. Being wronged and forgiven for it isn't hard when it comes to Jor a simple sincere apology or act and she is alright. She does notice when people are not being sincere after the fourth or sixth time they have betrayed her.
Dunce: Jor isn’t always quick on the uptake when it comes to more modern sayings or modern things. She has lived a fairly sheltered life and the people around her are all old and stuck in their old ways. So when people use slang or pull out a she is wondering what that is. She gets technology and certain things of modern life but not a lot of it. Sarcasm and non literal things due tend to go over her head often with her responding in a literal way or asking question to who/what to you.
Shy/Fearful: Jor still carries the pain from her parent physically and emotionally even if she doesn’t think about it the pain is still there. So when meeting new people especially ones around her age is scary to her. She doesn’t quite get that she is big so being scared of those small her is foolish but she doesn’t know any better. When people touch her she just freezes up not knowing what to do the same with when a stranger just goes up to her. Jor doesn’t know how to really handle these situation so she stutters or becomes mute but once she calms down she is very vocal.
Proud/Stubborn: Jor is proud of her heritage and even if she is wrong about something she won’t change her opinion when it comes to this. Her arm may be missing but it doesn’t make her useless so she doesn’t like asking for help or being treated special because she is less one limb. When people do that she becomes angry and feels that is all they are going to see her as the one arm short girl. She has her pride and doesn’t like it when it is overlooked for such a stupid reason.
Affectionate: When Jor finds out that you are somebody that can be friends with her she likes being really close to them. It is natural for her to sit very close to them hang off their arm or just snuggle up with them. There is nothing wrong with this and she doesn’t take it as anything other than a handshake between friends. If people interpret it as something else she won’t understand why and just question you on your reason why you would think that.
Means well: Jor is naïve and foolish so her actions are often messed up and can cause a lot of problems for those around her. Despite her gracefulness with her left arm she is quite clumsy and tends to fumble with her large body and her words. Creating unnecessary misunderstandings and far too many problems for herself that she can’t get herself out of. Her actions tend to come from the heart but get mixed up because she is so clumsy. She also tends to stalk people that she wants to get to know when she feels a moment has passed so she tries to force that moment again.
Responsible: Jor will take the consequences for her actions even when she feels that she is not in the wrong. It is the right thing to do but in her mind she might retain the fact that she is right and hold a grudge against you for the punishment she may receive. She mostly takes responsibility for her actions when it comes from an authoritative figure and not so much her peers. Tending to not take their words as something serious but just the children being mean.
