Nickname: Red, she'd like more if you have any~
Aliases: Just Willow
Monster Type: Will-O-Wisp
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Birthday: February 19th
Place of Birth: Ferbane, Ireland
Residence: Horror High
Species: Will-O-Wisps are hardly understood by humans or other monsters. They're very mysterious creatures and it is unclear whether they fall in line with traditional spirits (ghosts, undead), apparitions (ghost-like beings not tied to the living), or some sort of fairy. In this one's case, she seems (and claims) to be more of an apparition. What is known about Will-O-Wisps is that they have the ability to float, fade in and out of visibility, pass through objects, have a chilly/ghostly aura, and that their only means of feeding is by sapping the heat/energy from living things.
(One) Power: On top of the natural abilities of her species, Willow has a hypnotic effect. It is weak, currently, but is activated through prolonged eye contact. That is, if she herself is staring at someone long enough or that they are staring at her. The general time it takes for this to occur is around twenty seconds of unbroken eye contact. Blinking does not count, but glancing away in the slightest and resuming contact will reset the counter. This means it is much rarer for others to be hypnotically drawn to her accidentally and she is usually the one to initiate. The effect itself does not put the other person or creature into a trance so much as suddenly make her seem interesting and instill a desire to approach or, in most cases, follow her. Once the effect is initiated, eye contact is no longer required but without it the hypnotism will steadily wear off in a matter of minutes.
In later stages (if possible), she may develop a control over ghostly flames which will-o-wisps are best known for.
Personality:
Height: 5'3"when standing, usually floats at 5'7"
Weight: Most often, weightless. Standard, no more than 50lbs (it's not like she has organs or an actual skeleton)
Hair Color: Light blonde
Hair Length/Style: Short, wavy, and tousled. She keeps her bangs in her face and the back doesn't even reach the base of her neck. It's quite poofy, soft, and even seems to slowly move or flutter without any breeze.
Eye Color: Bright, glowing green with piercing red pupils.
Skin Color: Pale blue and ethereal.
Build: Lithe. She's thin and somewhat frail looking, not to mention on the short side. She doesn't have much feminine definition, with hardly any curves and little to no bust. If she were to wear pants, she might be difficult to differentiate between a boy if it weren't for her full lips and soft features.
Clothing Style: Partial to hoods and fur, as well as things that are easy to move in. Enjoys flashy or clashing colors, things that would make her stand out in a crowd or otherwise draw attention to herself. Where hoods are concerned, always wears them up to add an air of mystery so others will want to try and see her face.
Relationship with Family: Lived in a large clan of Wisps within the bogs of Ferbane, one of the most widely reported locations for Will-O-Wisp sightings in all of Ireland. As such, it is difficult to pin point key relatives due to the sheer size of her grouping and also for the fact that Will-O-Wisps are not exactly born or related in the normal sense. Though the clan functioned as a family, no one was related biologically, no one received special treatment, and no one was close. They worked together as a tight knit group helping each other to survive and it rarely went past that.
Key Family / Relatives: If asked, Willow would flat out say there was no one worth mentioning back home and she firmly believes this to be true. There was no one in her clan she considered a sibling, parent, or relative, and no one she felt close enough to call friend. This has shaped her entire personality and outlook on life, mostly for the worst.
