Ofelia had taken some time to think about what she did with Lex. It wasn't like she was ashamed, in fact messing around with him had helped her sleep better and totally calmed her nerves, but it was something she didn't think she'd ever do with him again. There was something about the action that was really intimate, even if it was just kissing (and him leaving hickeys on her breasts), and since he'd said he played around a good deal the redhead decided it just wasn't for her to join him on an offer anymore.

That didn't mean she wouldn't wanna see him again, in fact she thought about showing him how her body was healing by challenging him to a wonderful fun game of. . .dodgeball. She got the idea when she found one of the heavy rubber balls sitting in a corner inside the indoor training field, and when she bounced it around and found it to be in good shape she pulled her phone out. Everyone had everyone's number on the island, that was the amazing thing, and she typed out a text.

A text from the bouncy redhead, and Lex was set grinning in memories. Newbies were always fun - not his favorite, but definitely fun. He texted back a quick "okay" before changing into what would be more suitable for training; one of his white undershirts, a pair of gym shorts, and sneakers. Lex himself was even surprised at how lazy he looked in them, but just shrugged. He hadn't had the time to pick up his compression shorts and shirt from when he kickboxed.

He arrived at the indoor training field, giving Ofelia a wink and a wave. "Hey there pretty girl, what's up?"

Upon Lex's arrival he would have found Ofelia standing on her hands, balancing one of the balls between her feet. She was pretty athletic and flexible, there was no lie about that, and her motion was mostly to see if she could even pull it off. It took the man talking for her to actually even notice he was there and she rolled herself downward and got back up. The heavy ball she was holding rolled away, she'd get it in a minute, and Ofelia dusted her hands off and grinned at Lex as she walked closer. She also pulled her shirt back down because hey, gravity.

"Thanks fer comin'. Ah figur'd Ah'd show mah thanks ta ya fer helpin' me out b'for." The redhead pointed to her throat, not anywhere else, to show that the bandage was gone. "Ah'm entirely healed up now, so Ah think it's fair time the two'a use played around a bit." Her completely horrible vague words were indeed completely vague and horrible, though when she walked past the man and back towards the ball that had rolled away it was clear she wasn't talking an intimate sort.

The rubber ball soon in hand, Ofelia bounced it hard on the ground and grinned once more at the trainee. "A game'a dodgeball's on the lists, mah friend."

"Sounds great." Lex chuckled, glad he made himself ready for the occasion - Kenneth Cole belonged nowhere on a dodge ball field. Merona was completely okay though, along with Old Navy and Converse. He had to smirk a bit at her wording choice - playing around with balls. He'd never say it aloud, but oh good lord was that a tragic missed opportunity.

He played around enough already, though.

He took his place opposite the red headed teen, getting in a squatting stance, preparing to dodge, duck, dive, dip, and dodge. He was tall and fairly well built, making him an easier target. He'd need to rely on ducking and dipping quite a bit in this game.

"Whenever you're ready!"

Ofelia grinned, pleased that Lex seemed so eager, and she wasted no time in flinging the ball at him. It made a pleasing sound of contact, as rubber always did, and she giggled with delight. How long had it been since she played dodgeball?

This was going to be amazing.

Oomph! Lex clutched his stomach, grimacing with a smile. Ouch; the girl threw a mean dodgeball. He picked the ball off the ground and gave it a good throw, aimed at the girl's shins.

BAMPH! Direct contact. Lex smirked - he didn't hit girls before now, but...she started it!

Ofelia tripped up a bit as the ball hit her, not really jumping out of the way in time so her calf now bore a reddening mark, but the grin on her face didn't falter and she chased after the ball before turning on her (bare) heels and tossing it back as hard as she could.

Of course it couldn't have been that hard, she'd hit him low on his body so it wouldn't do much damage, though she did wince as she hoped it hadn't hit him anywhere. . . personal. Not that she really cared because honestly? She wasn't interested in him in that way. Not anymore at least, that ship had long since sailed off into the sunset.

"Ah...wanted ta thank ya, fer b'for. Back in yer room, what we did." Was it odd to thank someone for kissing you? Ofelia wasn't sure.

Lex grit his teeth as the ball hit his hip, throwing a hard curve ball that curved a bit too far. He made a nonplussed face, but grinned again as Ofie brought up the other night.

"My pleasure, really. You took it pretty well you know." He complimented her, chuckling. "Next time you do anything like that though; try to react a little more? Touch and feel the other person's body; it stimulates them, which makes them go harder and so on and so forth." He was honestly grinning now, somehow enjoying teaching the girl the chemistry of the bed. "Like I said though; good first effort."

"Hah, see that's the thing - ya basically made me wonder if Ah'll ever have another time. Not many people are willin' ta touch someone like me, though since ya seem ta be the type who likes like anythin' Ah f'gur'd ya could care less 'bout mah looks." The ball he threw back was easily dodged and Ofelia actually caught it with her hands, bouncing it a bit on the ground. She tossed it back, aiming for one of his arms, and winced as it nearly missed. Not much fun in a game of dodgeball if everyone missed one another each time.

"That's kinda why Ah was sayin' thanks - fer givin' me an opportunity ta grasp mah feelin's, as well as a chance ta feel like a woman or sommin' fer a bit." That sounded so stupid in her head.

Lex kind of just stopped, and let the ball hit him. He was...the type to hook up with anything he saw? That was extremely not okay. He was a high class diner, thank you very much. Four stars and up. Ofie had been...a charity dinner. Something he did so that the girl could just feel special; wanted even. But then she'd gone and called him easy.

Lex was not easy.

"Ah...you're welcome? Another note: don't call the guy who made you 'feel like a woman' easy, okay? Kinda demeaning."

"Sorry, Ah jus'....tend ta say things an' never give much thought ta it. Probably part of another reason why people tend ta shy away from me." Ofelia blushed and looked, well humble that she'd run her mouth like that. "An' Ah'm not tryin' ta say yer easy, jus'...that yer a nice guy who likes all women - like Dakota."

She really, really hadn't meant to call him easy because that really really wasn't what she meant. It had sort of been, well, awkward, and Ofelia just sighed and went to pick up the ball. If Rue was inside her head and willing to talk the Boo Hag would have been laughing so hard she'd be crying. Instead all Ofelia had was her own thoughts, her own cursing at herself, and she just flung the ball without paying attention.

" . . . Ah'm sorry." She sounded like someone had just beat her within an inch of her life, the way her tone was. If he wanted to leave and not even play anymore she totally understood, or if he wanted to kick her a** and then never speak with her again she also understood that. Ofelia self-inflicted more injuries than she really needed.

Lex gave a frown as she compared him to Dakota - he was not that little perverted slime. Yes, Lex liked women; and yes, Lex looked at women. But Lex didn't go around messing with other people's stuff to look at naked, photoshopped women. He appreciated a woman's body, unlike that scum bag. That kid just wanted breasts and butts. Sicko.

Throwing the ball in the teen's direction, Lex shook his head. "No need to apologize, hun. Just...just forget about it."

Ofelia wasn't taking it so well, not the fact she'd upset him, and it sort of showed in her movements. She took the hit he threw without any complaints or attempt to dodge, and her overall return throw was super weak. It went well over Lex's head, bouncing off the wall behind him, and the teen found herself trying not to start wheezing.

Her head was in a panic, even if he called her babe and said it was okay, and a frenzied look was starting to creep into the corner of her eye.
