Alysia was always a strange girl since the time she was 5 years old. She would ramble on about the dark arts and even spoke in a language no one understood. As she grew older she became even darker and cold to everyone around her. Soon things became dangerous as she started researching ways to kill people and make them suffer. Everything within the house that was considered a weapon was locked away and whenever there was a guest she would be locked in her room. One day while a neighbor was watching her, she broke out in a rage and killed the woman. That same night she was thrown into slavery.

Ryan grew up on the streets and so had to learn to survive on his own. Others helped him until he was old enough to take care of himself and in the end gained new friends. His little group were nearly unstoppable in their robberies since they knew the city inside and out. One night after their usual rounds they were ambushed by a large gang. Before he knew it he was lying on the ground watching his friends be murdered. He tried to call for help only to realize that he couldn't even talk. In the morning he was found unconscious in an alley and was soon thrown into slavery
