Serpentarius stood on the rooftop, looking over the Calloway residents with alert eyes. It been awhile since she seen or heard from her cousin, and she was starting to wonder how she was doing. Kneeling, she rest one knee on the cold shingle as her curls smack her in the face thanks to the wind.
She didn't honestly know why she never picked up a phone, so she didn't know how Christa was going to react when she saw her. The last time they seen each other was right before the Blood Moon Court split apart. Christa had chosen to walk down another path, while she chose to stick it out with the court. But now, with everything changing, including herself, she was seeking those she knew and were close to. She hope, that by reconnecting with her cousin, she would finally step out into the world and maybe seek out other alliances with other senshi.
Chewing on her bottom lip, she carefully slips off the rooftop, landing just between the two homes. She didn't move anymore, as she knew her cousin could probably pick her power signature up very soon.
The biggest question on her mind was would she come seek her out?

Kallichore felt her almost instantly. With a simple and flexible movement, the eternal found herself on the roof of her house, seeking out the signal she felt nearby. Who was it? Whoever they were, they were senshi. And super at that. Was it Tsui? Was it someone else she knew? Brows furrowing, Kallichore darted across the roof to leap and land near the source of the signal. Her eyes widened when they landed on her cousin. "Serpentarius!" Without any further words, the eternal ran and embraced her cousin with warm and open arms. It had been too long since they saw each other. Too long since the fall of the Blood Moon and the corruption of Ares. "I knew you were safe. I just knew it and... look at you. Look at you, Melinda. You're more powerful now. I... I'm so proud. And I'm so happy to see you again... How have you been?" It's been too long. Far too long. The war has torn us apart and we should be closer than ever now.

Serpentarius eyes fell close the moment she felt Kallichore's arms wrap around her. Hugging her close, she pulls back as she place her hands on her bare waist "Yea, you can thank Bradley for my power up." she grins as she looks over her cousin for a moment. She look okay, so that only made her feel alot better. She was more worried that this war had taken a turn on her cousin, and she was lost for awhile like herself. Though, she could see this wasn't the case, and for that she was very glad.
"You thought I was in danger? I'm so sorry I haven't called, I allowed someone to mess with my head. So I kind of decided to take a step back from life as a senshi until I figured out what I needed to do." she push her hands through her curls before crossing them under her chest.
"I'm well, actually attending Destiny City University now. Living on campus, so its not that much different from the Academy. This is the first time I have been a senshi for months now." she didn't want to talk about the court, not at the moment. She didn't want to talk about anything dealing with the senshi life at the moment.
"How are you Kalli?"

"Honestly? Much better knowing you're alive and well. And super!" Whoever was messing with Serpentarius' head would have to pay, but Kallichore would ask about that later. All that mattered now was that her cousin was safe and sound. "You just do what you have to do, Serpe. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Here, let's go sit down at the park or something and catch up. I don't want to risk Zach hearing us chatting down here." As they started their journey to a safer and quieter location, Kallichore looked to her cousin. "What are you studying at DCU? I'm in literature now but... I have no idea what I want to do with it aside from be a writer-turned-hermit." The eternal chuckled. She would be a very happy hermit, she thought, living alone and working at all hours just as she pleased. "Maybe I'll find a publishing house and just go from there, you know?"

Serpentarius follows after her cousin, the whole time smiling as she found it was nice just to be around her again. Playing with the belt around her waist, she didn't comment on anything Kallichore said at first. How could she tell her, that even at this moment she was still doubting everything she knew and was told?
Chewing on her bottom lip, she walks along side Kallichore as she placed her hands behind her back "Music at the moment. But I'm also studying Culinary Arts on the side." she thought of a friend, back for the Academy who got her rather interested in cooking. Shaking her head, she attempts to clear her mind as she arches a brow at Kallichore's comment.
"You do know, I won't allow you to become a hermit right?"

"When this war is over, Serpentarius, you can open a bakery or something. You were always good at that. Zach is still asking me to hound you for your blueberry pie recipe." Kallichore chuckled and shook her head. Maybe one day Zach would learn about his sister and cousin's superhero secret identities. But for now, it was a secret well kept. "I know that if I do become a hermit," she started, raising one hand to call down her cellphone from subspace. "I'll get a series of nasty text messages with snakes on them telling me to stop being such a party pooper." Serpentarius, well rather, Melinda, was very good at bringing Christa out of her antisocial moods when Zach was being too obnoxious to help. Their side of the family always seemed so extroverted while she still had problems being grumpy to people. Oh well. Brown eyes locked on her cousin. "Serpentarius, is something wrong?"

Serpentarius chuckles at the thought of opening a bakery. It sounded like a dream, but her heart was set on her music and she planned to go after that goal. No, she would leave the baking to others and just bake when she had the time. After the war, if it ever ended, she was going to make that blueberry pie again for her cousins.
Serpentarius was so trapped in her own world, she hadn't heard Kallichore next part until she asked her what was the matter. Blinking her dark green eyes, Serpentarius looks towards her cousin for a moment before looking away. How could she honestly explain to her what was going on inside her head? Not after everything that was going on.
Lifting her hand, Serpentarius waves it to explain nothing was wrong "School, I honestly think I took to much on at the moment. I am hoping that I can cut back down, or I may have to drop a class or two." another lie, but at the moment it was all she could give Kallichore.
"Anyways, what have you been doing on this side of life. Did you find yourself a new team?"

Kallichore knew something was up but couldn't quite put her finger on it. All she could do is offer her shoulder and support and hope Serpentarius would take it if she felt she needed it. If it was school then the eternal would believe her now-super counterpart. "Don't get in over your head and work too hard, Serpentarius. Your health and sanity is more important than a GPA." She shifted her weight and crossed her arms. "...you could say that, yes. Ever since Ares snatched up Leto and Requiem... I just couldn't go back. I firmly believe in Birhan and the others but I haven't heard from anyone else from the Blood Moon since then. I've seen Albali. Very briefly. She doesn't seem like talking much anymore and it worries me. I'm afraid Ares is going to go after you and the remaining of the court." Kallichore looked away for a moment, anger flashing across her face. "...she doesn't deserve you." The eternal sighed. "Anyway, after Ares decided to emo her way into royalty, a bunch of us got together and formed the Jovians. There's quite a few of us now and I'm of the idea that this is the best place for me. What about you? How is the Blood Moon? Or are you not allowed to tell me?"

"Jovians huh? Very nice, I'm so thrilled that you found a place." she paused as she asked about the Blood Moon Court. Serpentarius wasn't honestly sure what to tell Kallichore. She didn't have any news from them, other then they still wanted to try and regroup and grow again. With a small shrug, she just shook her head "Honestly, if I had any news, I would tell you Kallichore. Only problem is, there isn't any news. The court is kind of quiet at the moment."
"So at the moment, I am a loner until told otherwise." placing her hand on the back of her neck, Serpentarius pauses as she looks over the park for a moment "Kallichore, if something were to ever happen to me. Not saying it would, but if something happen, would you try to find me?" chewing on her bottom lip, she looks to her cousin with a rather serious face.

Quiet was better than dead and Kallichore was certain her cousin would say something if they lost any others to the depths of darkness like they did Ares, Requiem and Leto. Serpentarius' next question shook her to the core, her heart filling with ice. "Serpe... Melinda..." The eternal grabbed the girl's shoulders and locked eyes with her, searching into the sea of the snake senshi's eyes for the meaning behind all this. Why ask such a thing? "... of course I would look for you. You're my friend, you're my cousin. You're practically my sister. I'd search the ends of the Earth for you. And if someone did something to you... I'd find them too." And end them. Severely. Or at the very least haunt them for the rest of their lives.Kallichore had no qualms about seeking retribution for something that happened to family. With Bradley's death, their mother's disappearance and the whole host of other things that had happened since awakening, the senshi of madness clung to everyone and did her best to protect them.

Serpentarius was in shock at how Kallichore grabbed her shoulders. She was expecting her to hug her, not lock eyes with her. Parting her lips, she nods a little before she looks away from her eyes. She couldn't look at her, not at this moment. With a light forced chuckle, she shakes her head as she pulls away from Kallichore.
"Okay, no more being serious. You know I would do the same for you, always."
She meant it, right now Kallichore is her closest family due to her parents being in England. She decided to stay in Destiny City after her graduated from the Academy, and while her parents didn't like it. They didn't agree to it, because she wanted to branch out on her own.
Lifting her hair off her neck for a moment, she looks to Kallichore as she smiles "So what else has been going on with the war? I mean, are we even close to this being over?" she knew it was probably a stupid question, but she had to ask anyways.

Kallichore shook her head, a loose smile hanging on her lips. "I don't know if we're closer to the end of the war that where we were before. It's hard to say." She lifted a hand to tap the edges of her jaw lightly. "I would assume that, if we ever reach the end of the war, it would be something everyone would know about. Or at least I would think so." Sighing, she shook her head. "Either way, I have no idea. We had a meeting recently about possibly purifying willing Chaos agents but I haven't seen it done." Calling forth her cellphone from the depths of subspace, Kallichore flicked it open with her wrist. "With some help from a few cats and a chibi, I've managed to upload that primer I was working on for the Blood Moon. I finished it and turned it into something all senshi could use. Like a intro class, if you will." Kallichore looked up at Serpentarius again. Being a Blood Moon member still, Kallichore felt it necessary to elaborate. "Don't worry - I took everything out that was sacred information to the Blood Moon. I may not be a member any longer but that doesn't mean I don't respect their boundaries." The phone clicked shut. "They were good to me; as good as they could be, I suppose. Still, once Ares descended into madness and took those close to her down with her... it just seemed... irreconcilable. I won't lie - I want her dead. Dead, or purified, if such a thing could be done. She's already taken Europa's cousin from her. Europa's so torn up about it and I haven't seen her in a long time..." The eternal fell silent.

Serpentarius frowns a little as she listens to her cousin, realizing only now how much she felt out of this war. She could tell as far as her cousin, she seen way to much and this alone made Serpentarius more determine to be around more often.
Watching Kallichore call forth her phone, she arches a brow at the primer. She remembered her talking about it back with the Blood Moon Court, and she was actually proud that she finished it. Holding her own hand out in front of her, she summons her own phone to her. As it appears, she found herself chuckling "I need to remember to check this more often." flipping the phone upwards, she looks over the primer only to arch a brow for a moment.
Looking it over, she looks back to Kallichore "Wait, what this section about Space and the Moon Kingdom...is this actually possible?" she felt so foolish to actually be asking this, had things really changed that much on her. Looking away as Kallichore talked about Ares and wanting her dead, she couldn't only frown a little.
She didn't even want to think about Ares, or how she knew her and thought of her as a friend even now.

A quick change of subject was something Kallichore was very thankful for. She nodded in return. "Yes, we can head into space. Europa taught me that. Our cellphones allow us to tune in to the song of our planet, so to speak, and teleport us there instantly. Same with the moon except it seems to be restricted to only when the moon is full. It's nothing but a ruin but seems to be a safe place we can all meet. Were you around for the ambush, Serpentarius?" Kallichore was almost relieved not to have seen her cousin there. Space was by far a safer subject. "Have you been to your... star, I assume, Serpentarius? I've been to my own moon. It's quite breathtaking. If you haven't been, I highly recommend you go at least once."

Serpentarius remembered Europa, as she met her only for a short time. It made her sad knowing that another senshi seem to have vanished, and she was hoping she was okay. As she listens to her cousin, Serpentarius eyes wander back down to her phone. So all she had to do was think of her star, and she could actually go back to her homeworld out in space?
Looking back upwards, she gives her cousin as small shakes of her head "No actually, I have never even thought about traveling there." could she actually visit her own world once more? It made her curious as to what the world was like.
Biting her tongue, she looks back to Kallichore "How about, when I am ready to actually go out into space. You come with me, and see where I am from? After all, who better then my own cousin?" she was grinning as she thought of being able to share something more with Kallichore.
With their lives taking them both in different directions, she had to hold onto the small things.
