Guys.. you may have noticed not only my continual absence but also a sense of deadness in my posts lately.. and I'm sure you all want to know (and even if you don't, you do now) where the old happy running around in crazy circles and stealing sashes Niph has gone. To be honest, I don't really know. And while I'm still like that IRL, quite often on Gaia I'm just.. not. Anymore.

While I remember - please keep this on topic, if only for the first couple of pages (assuming it doesn't die//get deleted//mauled). I really don't feel that Toki's pervertedness or B&B's rather misguided cupid abilities are.. appropriate, right now.

So, really, the problem is this: Gaia is simply getting less and less interesting. I don't know whether leaving is such a good idea, since I do still squeeze some fun and pleasure out of it, but increasingly it's like getting blood out of a stone. I mean, more and more the exchange is filled with the parties of the rich and famous where it used to be littered with nice little stalls which you could haggle in and have some fun in; the guild is, well, in my opinion (and call me boring or a traitor or whatever) not what it used to be; ED is completely unmentionable; and my other 'commitments' on Gaia.. well, they can suffer. I really don't care. But I really don't think I can give up, either.

So, actually, the question I need help with: what do I do? Stay, or go?

And if you even think about begging or asking me for items I will scream at you. And stuff.

Please, just this once, be serious for me. <3

Added: What do you think of this guild as a whole, right now? Oldbies, do you think it was better before? Newbies, how do you see the guild?

Note to mods: not supposed to be offensive; I just want to have somewhere where people can say what they really think.

I'll make my stance clear - although the newer members are valuable additions to the guild and I have nothing against them, I feel that the spirit of what we used to be has diffused somewhat.. but perhaps that was inevitable. It's not anything personal, just I think it's changed, and not necessarily for the better. This is only my opinion, of course.

But what is there to be gained in staying?

I would reccomend just taking a break from Gaia. That's what I've been doing lately.. Try something else for a while and when you feel like it come back.

Try Maple story for a bit or another game or like Tokiko said try something else in real life?
I consider breaks nice ways to refresh yourself and come back within a few weeks or months or whenever you feel like it and see if the site has improved to your likings?

I understand that feeling.. I've posted less due to lack of interest and stopped ordering art lately or just too much annoyance.. Checking on ICU 2-3 times a day and checking up on my art orders (They aren't done most of the time even.. They're 2 month orders..) that's it pretty much.. I've withdrawn myself from most of my online friends lately.

I'm going to be honest with you. So if anything from me sounds harsh, I'm not trying to be mean or anything. Honesty can't always turn out to be positive.

If Gaia isn't so enjoyable to you, then I think you should leave. I wouldn't want to waste my time on something that I don't find interesting anymore. You have better stuff to do in real life. You went on Gaia frequently before, right? It was obviously because you enjoyed it. But don't let things you don't enjoy anymore suck up your lifetime. If something is wasting your time or is not fun anymore, let it go. Sure you made friends in this little place and you might not want to leave them, but you can always get their e-mail addresses. Or, you can drop a message from time to time when you feel like seeing your Gaian-friends.

Gaia has been getting more boring lately.
So, as Dasg and NR say,
Take a break and go find something else to do,
Like an online game -eg. Maplestory or Priston Tale.
And come back every few days.
Or something.

heya... although i dont really know you.. i do hope that u will stay.. the more the merrier... and it does seems u have made many friends here... *looks around* yup yup!

well, but most importantly, is how u feel about this whole thing... i'm sure u know what is right and the best for you... weigh the situation.. what is it u like about gaia and what do u dislike about it... can the things u dislike about gaia be fix? whether u choose to stay or leave... it is truely your decision...

maybe u can log in once in a while to keep in touch with us... or when u're bored of have nothing to do... i think gaia is the place to interact and just have fun... ^^

u dont really have to spend most of ur time here! maybe just log in for a few mins...
i'm kinda new to gaia... and sometimes i do feel gaia can be a waste of time (if i spend too long on it).. i think it is just something to kill boredom, or just share interest with other pple... maybe even make friends from all over the globe... or find out news about what's going on...

when im not on, i'll be writing fanfictions and doing my stuff.. xD and when i lack of inspirations... i come here while i surf the net.. hehe.. just to have a laugh with all the funny comments/remarks pple made... and see pple's views about certain things...

i hope i was not responsible for ruining or changing the guild...
i wonder how the old guild is like xD must be lots of fun... and lots of memories i guess.. =)

since that is one of the reason for u leaving (i guess)... =/

and surely there must be something we can do to make u feel welcome and be happy!
