Sushi is sneezing like a maniac and I'm getting sprayed by kitty snot. Anyone have a clue on treating a cat's cold?

OOOO!!!! I would gently wipe down her nose and eyes. How do her eyes look? Kitties (when they get sick) tend to get conjuctivitis since their sinuses are so small so they get eye leakage.
Whats her temp? Is she wheezing? Is she lethargic?

No just sneezing every 30 mins or so. Licks her nose often. Became extra needy for attention.

In that case, just keep her toasty, mix some broth with her kibble and shower her with love and attention. It doesnt sound bad. If her eyes start getting goopy, a vet visit is needed. Antibotics will probably be suscribed.

Trust me being on the other end of a kitty snot-slobber explosion is not exactly the best place to be.

I'm not sure how well it'll help, but a humidifier might help tone down the sneezing.
Also, a soupy canned food might help, if not, then definitely some sort of watered-down food. On thanksgiving Tip was feeling a little run down(though not completely sick), and I happened to have recently bought 2 cans of Natural Balance catatoulle(sp?) stew and that brought her right out of it. But soupy foods is definitely the way to go. Keep her well-hydrated.
Hope she feels better soon!

Pearl had a wicked nasty cold when she was rescued. I was wiping her nose after sneezing fits so that the snot didn't get back in and keep her clogged up. I kept her warm and toasty as well and didn't have a problem with food or water (for she was starving when we brought her home, but slowly upped her feedings to prevent any problems).
In the end, Pearl ended up needing amoxicillian (excuse my spelling) when she got her paw injury infected. The vet did say that it would clear up her cold, which it did in about a few days. If all else fails, seek the vet if it doesn't clear up in a few days.
