Melinda sat in the beauty parlor, just looking at the new hairstyle she had chosen for herself. Brown curls, flowing around her face, she thought she would be excited about it, yet she just couldn't even muster an ounce, not even a real smile. Turning to the woman who done her hair, she smiles to her as she hands her the tip "Thank you, its perfect." picking up her coat, she moves to the front counter to pay before leaving the store.

Pulling on her coat, she stuffs her hand into her pocket, only to feel a familiar pen. Pulling it out, she frowns as she looks down at it. It been several months, since her fight with Carnelian, yet his words were still getting to her. She was questioning everything about the side she was on.

Why was she fighting for this side?

The court she belong to, was gone for the most part. No word from her leader, she wasn't sure what to do. She knew very little when it came to other senshi, but it was her own fault. She didn't really try to go out and find anyone once she was apart of the Blood Moon Court.

Lifting her hand to the back of her neck, she rubs it over the marking. It indicated who she was, it branded her as a BMC. So why was she even unsure of that at the moment.

"Mel! Mel! Stop questioning everything!"

Blinking, Mel looks behind her. It couldn't have been his voice, there was just no way....

"Mel! Your my superhero remember?"

There he was, standing right in front of her. Bradley, with that cheeky smile as he holds a long snake stuff toy. He was shifting from side to side as he giggles at her.

Mel shook her head as she closed her eyes for a moment. This couldn't have been real, this had to be a dream. Or someone playing a nasty trick on her. Opening her emerald eyes, she found herself gasping as he still stood there.

"Bradley.....is that really you?"

Kneeling down, she carefully reaches out with her hand towards his face. To her surprise, she felt soft skin under her fingers. Bradley couldn't help but giggle at her as he nod to her, taking a few steps to close the gap between them. Wrapping his arms around her neck, he hugs Mel close as he kissed her cheek.

Mel couldn't stop herself from shaking as she felt the warmth of him, before she wraps her arms around her little brother. He was there, within her arms. Closing her eyes, she bites back the tears as she pulls back to look at him "How is this even possible?"

Bradley lifts his hand, to place it on Mel's cheek. His small smile beaming as he grins to his older sister "I'm always here Mel, when you need me to be. Like right now. Why are you questioning yourself?" he looks at her rather confused, Mel found herself biting her own lip as she stood.

"I don't know Bradley, I really don't know. So much has happen, and I'm just lost. Mum and Dad are still back in England, and I'm here trying to figure out my life. I mean, I have Christa, but I haven't seen her in a long time." not since the court breaking apart...

"But that my own fault, I could pick up the phone." she sighs as she looks away from him for a moment "Then that stupid battle with Carnelian, left me hurt for weeks. It got me thinking about why I am doing this. You want me to be a superhero, but am I really on the right side Bradley?" she looks down to him, finding him suddenly gone.

Glancing around, she found herself now in the backyard of there home in England. The leave falling frown the trees around the house. Bradley was playing out on the swing set they had, laughing and screaming for her to come join him.

Mel sighs as she looks down at her acceptance letter to Crystal Academy. She was happy, but scared all at the same time. How could she leave her family? Worse, how cold she leave her brother? "Mum...I don't think I can go. I don't want to leave anymore."

Mel felt her mother's hand rest on her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze "Baby, the only way your going to overcome your fear is if you go. You want this so badly, and we all want you to go..." closing her eyes, Mel felt her mother's arms wrap around her shoulder, before there was nothing.

Opening her eyes, she gasp as pain rushed through her. Looking up, she saw the red hair once more above the roof. "There is no Serenity to save you..."

"Your wrong!"

Mel blinks as she saw Serpentarius stand as she faced down Carnelian "If your Chaos is so much better, go back to it." with that, she lunges at him trying to throw another punch to his face.

Blinking, as the image seem to fade. She lifts her hand to find her pen once more in her hand. Looking it over, she chews on her bottom lip "I just...."pausing she felt a small tug to her coat. Looking down, she smiles to her brother as he nods "My sister, a superhero. That who you are Mel. Don't fight it anymore. You need to continue on...."

Reaching down, she smiles as she takes Bradley hand into her own "Your right, its high time I stopped being scared of everything. Its time I woke up....." giving Bradley's hand another squeeze she chuckles "I love you.."

Opening her eyes slowly, Mel blinks as she looks around the beauty parlor. How long was she out cold? Lifting her hand to her eyes, she rubs at them just as the lady walks up to check on her hair "Alright, looks like its done. We just need to work on the curls now." helping Mel back to the chair, she goes about finishing up her hair.

It was an hour later before Mel stepped out of the shop. Curls bouncing around her face as she moves to her car. Pulling the keys out, she only stopped when she heard someone call to her "Miss!"

The lady who had done her hair came running up to her "You forgot your purse." holding it out, Mel found herself blushing as takes it "Thank you, I'm so sorry about that." the lady shakes her head as she waves goodbye to her, heading back into the shop.

Turning away, Mel looks down only to find her eyes resting on her pen. Lifting it out, she looks it over before she heard the voice again.

"Your a superhero Sis! So be one!"

Wrapping her hand around the pen, she chuckles as she drops place her purse under her seat. He was right, even beyond he was right. Locking the door, she moves down the street until she was about a block away from her car. Slipping into an alleyway, Mel glance at the pen.

Something was different as she held it. Was it stronger then before? She felt the pull, to become a senshi, yet it was very different. The power, while the same was way stronger then she remembered.

"You know what you have to do? So why are you so scared?"

She wasn't, not anymore. Lifting the pen above her, she closed her eyes "For you Bradley.....Super Serpentarius Power, Make-up!" blindly green light encased her as she closed her eyes.

Opening her eyes slowly, Serpentarius look down at herself finding it hard to speak. Her eyes going to the bracer that were now wrapped around her wrist. Each one had a snake craving, she felt the air brush against her exposed waist as she continues to look herself over. She couldn't believe it, she actually powered up. Lifting her hands to her lips, she found herself laughing as she was trying to fight back other emotions.

"I told you...your a superhero..."

The words echoed in her head, and she just found herself grinning. He was right, and it was high time she found her path again. Taking a slow breath, Serpentarius glance around.

"So much for going home, might as well do some patrolling." with that, she leaps onto the roof before she darts from roof to roof. For the first time, in a very long time, she actually felt right being Serpentarius, the Super Senshi of Snakes.
