I stared out the window as the new family was unloading the boxes from the moving van; chuckling I went outside to help the new family out. Picking up one of the boxes I let it purposely fall to the ground; the boy who had been standing there jumped into the air.

"Tommy, did you toss that box to the ground?" The father asked scolding him as he stare at his son.

"No father," Tommy replied as I laugh and lift the box from the fathers arms and toss open the lids making the young girl standing behind Tommy screech. Then to play with their minds I put the box on the ground and threw the clothes all around the yard, when I was finished I laugh and went inside to wreck havoc inside. I like Tommy, he is cute and may make the perfect friend for me.

I had been living in that house since the day I was born, sadly my stepfather had pulled a gun on me at my 18th birthday and I died, my spirit stuck to wander the house until justice is served. I look over at Tony and see him coming towards where I am on the steps; I smile and make myself visible to him, he looks at me shocked and yells over his shoulder, "Hey dad, did you see a girl enter the house?"

"No," His father yells back. I decide to have a little fun and flirt with Tommy some; I float past him "accidently" brushing his shoulder in the process, I see him shiver and a look of fear crosses his face.

Tommy drops the box he had been carrying up to my old room, which was going to be his, and ran outside yelling, "There is a girl in the house and she is like ice."

His father sighs and looks at his son, "You are causing a scene, go take your box into your room and start unpacking." The boy stares at the house with a look of pure fear on his face as he slowly goes inside.

I laughed and followed him upstairs as he put the box on the ground I opened the window and chuckled when the box lids swung open. He looked at me and replied stuttering, "W-W-What or w-w-who are y-y-you?"

"Oh, Tommy, just relax I'm not going to hurt you," I replied as I floated up through the ceiling to the attic above his room. He saw the entrance to my hideout that was connected to his room and followed me up.

"What is your name?" He replied curiosity getting the better of him.

I smiled and replied, "Its Sakura Marks Flame. Just in case your wondering I am dead and yes I am a ghost." His eyes got wider.

"How did you die, if you don't mind me asking?" Tommy replied staring into my grayish-blue eyes.

I smiled at him and his natural curiosity and replied, "My step father killed me on the day of my 18th birthday, would you like to hear the whole story?"

He nodded and looked at me wide-eyed, "Yes."

"Well I lived in this house my whole life, with my mother, it was only me and mother because my dad died before I was born. One day when I was ten, my mom decided to start dating again and well one thing led to another and she ended up remarrying a douche she met online. Well my mom died from cancer when I was 16 and I got stuck being raised by him, he would beat me and physically and mentally and sexually abuse me. When I turned 18 I was supposed to inherit a million dollars, but if anything would happen to me it would go to my stepfather, when he found out he made a plan to shoot and kill me right on my 18th birthday," I replied, "Well he shot me in the back and I fell down the steps, I was in the hospital for a week in a coma. If I had woken up I would have been in a wheelchair for the rest of my life, but sadly the brain injury I had received was fatal so I died. Now I'm stuck in this house because he got away."
