Whaddya think of it. Personally I love it! And I've seen both Dragon Ball and DBZ in both English and Original Japanese. And unlike some or rather many, I don't mind GT, though it is my least favorite. I'm really looking forward to the continuation of Kai. I hope they get on with it soon.
Opinions?

Is Dragon Ball Kai the remake of DB and DBZ? I think I might have watched a couple episodes before.

The Japanese is always the best for purists. I happen to personally know some of the FuniMation voice actors for DBZ, so I may be prejudice on that score, but I love the English dub too.
As for the 4 generations of DBZ, true, not all have been the best that the series has to offer, but then again, the movies were panned too. And please, let's not even discuss that horrendous live action drivel that was out several years ago. Excuse me but collecting all the balls in 90 minutes makes no sense at all.
Getting back on the topic at hand, I like Kai and do hope that it continues!

The Cell Saga is now over and there are have been less then 100 episodes. If you want an idea more or less of DB and what led up to DBZ but don't want to watch the series you should watch the DB 10th anniversary special. It's pretty good.

I find watching in Japanese and English make for two very different experiences. I generally seem to prefer Japanese.
