Delenos sat on the other side of the river. He waited for Misa to catch up to him so that she can use her shapeshifting form to get across with him.

A mystical energy could be felt on this side of the river, even though the were not close to the grove.

Misa saw Delenos on the otherside of the river. She padded backwards before running forward, jumping across the river and landing a few feet past the river bed. She turned around to look at Delenos. She felt a sort of energy surrounding them and was curious as to where it was coming from. Misa sat down, she had felt all of her limbs when she ran, how they worked together and their functions. She had heard her heart beat in her ears, the lungs infalting then deflating. Misa had become aware. She pulled her paw up and licked it once, for an unknown reason. As if realizing what she was doing, she slammed her paw back onto the ground and cocked her head to the side slightly and looked at Delenos.

He trotted ahead of her. Make sure that he was somehow faster than her using his elemental Shape shifting to give himself lightning quick speed. leading her to the Sacred Grove. This is where the energy emitted from, and was the base of his natural powers.

He assumed his human form again. Leaning on his Gnarled staff. He waited for her. She would be able to smell him if she was finally attuned to her animal form.

Misa followed Delenos, giving a sigh through her nose at the tediousy of this. How long would she have to follow him? Misa stopped mid foot step and sneezed after her sigh. It was strange, she wasn't used to this and it wasn't something she had ever thought she would come to be familiar with. Delenos had disappeared and Misa whirled her head around every which way trying to find him. Animal instinct took over and she almost felt like a wolf as she sniffed the air. A scent caught her attention and she followed it's trail. She found Delenos in a grove. The Sacred Grove at that. The energy had become stronger and it was obvious that this was where she had felt the energy. Delenos was standing in his human form. Misa shook herself and then transformed.

She was back to her human form quickly and she felt disorinetated. The connection to her animal nature had grown strong in that short time and it was strange for her. "Why did you bring me here Delenos?" She asked, looking around. Her senses still seemed to be sensitive. But not quite as sensitive as they were when she was in her panther form.

Delenos took in a long deep breath as though he was taking in all the wind he would need to speak uninterrupted by breath. "Once a long time ago, an ancient treant stood here. He sought for a student to teach another of his ancient connections. That fateful night, a man stumbled across here and he taught him magic of natural magic that he had learned over the years." He pointed the gnarled end of his staff at the rocks. As he waved in a circle which lined the rocks, the mystical green energy followed along it. "This... was the very first Shape Shifter... Nearly 2,000 years ago..." The image of the first shapeshifter in the form of whirling leaves was in the center of the stones. "This was him when he was first connected to the spirits of nature. He felt the very things that you feel now." He let his staff rest on the ground, though it stood by itself as it also grew green. "He was considered the first druid. The first shapeshifter." The leaves swirled in the wind as more figures appeared around the first. "Then he had a family, and lead a normal life." The leaves continued to add more figures into the circle, the figures shrinking in size as more of them appeared as leaves. "Generations had passed. Druids have been mastering there bloodline for centuries. However the first..." As the leaves grew into the first figure. "Lost his family to a tragic accident of an attack from The White flame castle. He swore vengeance against them, and with his powers he laid waste to the castle and many of it's inhabitants..." The leaves blew across the ground leaving the circle of rocks. The staff hovered in between the rocks. "That is when the first druid lost connection with nature and life. He could not bear the loss of his family, and the eternal life he had been granted tortured him. He returned to The Sacred Grove with intent of destroying this forest from it's heart. This was nearly 1,000 years ago. The First Druid and The Ancient Treant fought for Days, Weeks, Months, and years. This was known amongst the stars and seers as Apocalypse. As years of this conflict had surged... hope had nearly come to an end. The ancient had called for the druid aid... but none dared face the first druid and his infinite wrath. Except for a foolish young druid seeking to prove himself. The young druid had struck the first with a lightning bolt from the storms. With that opening applied The ancient defeated the first, but the hatred of the first was to great that he fought to his last breath. Striking the ancient with a deadly and dark poison." He stepped into the stone circle grasping the staff in his hand. "The ancient rewarded that young druid with this staff, and entrusted him to keep balance to nature during his absence."

Misa watched in awe as the leaves formed the story that Delenos was explaining to her. "A nice history lesson that is Delenos." Misa still wasn't certain if this was a path she wanted to take. The one that Misa knew she for sure wanted was the medical field. I want to be a doctor. but would being a druid be so bad? I could help people for years. Long past my years. There is also watching everyone I've grown up with and loved die. The first Druid. I might end up like him. But I don't want to pass up an oppurtunity like this. What to do? Misa thought, wondering how different it would end if she did become the Druid's apprentice. "Delenos, I don't know if I could deal with it. The first Druid. I can't imagine loosing everyone I've ever loved. Making relationships just to watch them wither as I stay."

Delenos nodded as he stood in the center of the ring. "I have faced many of the things like you said... I used to have a family, and watched them die one by one from old age, or death from disease." He grabbed his staff and walked over to her. He was about the same size as her, with a frail and weaker body. "Also as I said before, you don't have to pass up your profession if you walk down this path. Many Alchemists and healers have come down this path, they used there gifts of talking with nature to discover new alchemical and Medical ways of making potions." He said as turned and sat down on a stump with a wood cutters axe in it's side. "If you are not ready to become a druid, you can go. I only wished to open up some options for some magical perspective. The punishment is sometimes agonizing... but your senses will sharpen, your knowledge will grow and you will have gained the assistance of nature..." He said as he watched the wind blow the leaves around once more. "The price for this life is high... but I can imagine that you will do great things."

He also admitted one more thing. "The tale of the first is a dark tale from older times, but no one was as powerful as him now, and you should not fear it happening to you."

Misa nodded. "Even though you may think that I'm strong enough to handle this, I'm not so sure." She said quietly, musing over all the information she had just recieved. "Is it alright if I think this over?" She asked, standing carefully, but shoulders back to show confidence. She was sure about any decisions. If anything she would want to discuss it with her family before she made any true decisions. She took a step back the way they had come, hoping Delenos didn't mind.

"Off course... I'll be here whenever you wish to return..." He said as he sat down on the wooden stump he had previously sat on before. "You have all the time that is given too you, do you not?" He said with a calm smile.
