Okay so Pascal inviting Zia to his gym might've been a long term mistake. Zia liked it. Combat sports were useful, and fun, and were an excellent thing to add to her regimen to get back to BMC shape, which she'd been desperately working at for almost two months now. So she was there, at his place, ALL THE TIME. Even when he wasn't.
And now she was bringing friends. Though it wasn't really friends, plural, it was just Lily, who was coming along because of her alter ego Maia and an expressed need for training. Which made sense. Lily might've seen her ordeal as kidnapping, but Zia was calling it a vacation.
"No, I swear, this place is awesome," Zia said, half dragging the poor redhead along. "Besides, there's nothing wrong with working out as a civilian."
At least she'd quickly learned to dress better for combat sports. Zia was still occasionally teased about the time she showed up in yoga clothes. But since that first visit, the loose top and cutsy shorts had been replaced with hand wraps and more appropriate gear for colliding with and punching people.
Zia waved at a few people she recognized when they entered, but quickly turned to Lily, bouncing in excitement and grinning from the nostalgia of taking one of her babies out for training. "Okay, so what do you wanna work on first?"

Cabin fever was starting to set in for Lily, while she was going out a night again, not knowing her brother was running around the city looking for her as a knight, she hadn't really been going out during the day. This meant she was still not really getting good amounts of exercise and still not dancing, which surprisingly she was really missing. She needed training, she was feeling really off, and doubted her chances if she encountered someone that wanted to kill her, so Zia was easily able to drag her to the gym.
Lily was tempted to roll her eyes at Zia's statement about the gym being awesome and about the working out comment. She worked out, maybe not at a gym, but she danced, even if she hadn't done so in six or so months. "I'm not sure you definition of awesome and my definition are the same."
She frowned slightly as she was maneuvered through the gym, tugging at her hood, which she knew she couldn't keep up forever. She was dressed down, way down, simple hoodie and sweatpants and tennis which she had to buy because she never wore them and couldn't find a pair to wear.
She grinned at Zia's excitement, finally pulling the hood down, and pushing her hand into the front pocket of her hoodie. "You're the expert. Aside from, well you know, Im not a big working out person. So lead the way Zee."

Pascal spent a lot of his time at the gym, and while at the gym a lot of that time was spent sparring with Doug in the ring. They never sparred briefly, in fact, they'd been going at over an hour now. If anyone asked, this was their ring and if you looked you'd probably find both of their names plastered on it. At this point in the game, both of them had long lost their shirts and were just in their shorts and handwraps with sweat to cover the rest of them.
They weren't being gentle.
They were really into it, if you listened close enough you could hear the sound of the impact each of them took and delivered. Pascal hadn't even noticed Zia enter the gym, least of all with a friend or he might have made a clever comment about how she wasn't the expert and he was. He was too busy whooping Doug's a**, or that's how seen it. It was really quite the equal fight.

"Well we could go over-..." Zia was not the kickboxing expert by far, no, but that didn't mean she didn't know a thing or tow about training. She did survive supervising various BMC training sessions. Not like she could put that on a resume.
And it didn't matter anyway because she was distracted by the fact Pascal was actually here and violently colliding with another shirtless man she may have occasionally thought about and that was pretty much the definition of distracting in Zia's head.
"Maybe we should mess around over here," She said, trying to pretend she hadn't just cut herself off to stare at a guy and pulled Lily over to a vacant space. "We'll probably just warm up with the bag but here, get in a few stretches," She said, still obviously overeager to get started. "No, Lils, like this," Because no matter what she was going to decide Lily was doing it wrong and she bounced behind her to adjust the angle she was stretching her arm. "Okay?"

Lily was listening to Zia when she started to speak, so the pause was as obvious as day to her. Zia had Lily's full attention, well until she looked to where Zia was looking frowning at the fighting pair. She had trained with the BMC and sparred with Chaonis, but even so she didn't think she could go a round like the two guys were going.
Lily's attention snapped back to Zia when she spoke again happy to head over to stretch, use the bag, and very happy not to be heading into a ring to possible attempt what the boys were partaking in. She didn't think she would be totally awful, but at the same time, she didn't want to test that theory.
She of course started to stretch no problems, or so she thought, until Zia decided she needed readjusting. She didn't think she was doing it wrong which made her frown at Zia slightly, but she nodded none the less, when Zia spoke and continued to stretch, well for a few minutes anyway.
"I'm not use to these clothes, they are hot and not as comfortable as most people would have you believe," she frowned tugging at the hoodie.

Pascal grabbed hold of Doug's leg to block his kick and while he was holding it there he noticed that a certain lavender beauty had come back to his gym on her own accord. Doug noticed too, and as if the two were reading each other's minds they stopped fighting. Towels were the first thing either of them grabbed followed by their bottle of water, ignoring their clothes that were piled in the ring, before each hopped out on either sides.
Doug v-lined for the bench but Pascal hadn't quite given up yet. He had spotted some new prey and she wasn't alone. She was with some red head, and he was fairly certain she wasn't a gym regular which concluded that she must be one of Zia's friends. He took a minute to mostly remove the sweat from his body, take a drink of water and catch his breath before he crept on over.
"Zia," he said while he smiled charmingly. "Won't you introduce me to your friend here?"

"Then take the stupid hoodie off," Zia rolled her eyes at Lily's complaints, even going so far to tug on it. She clearly had no qualms about violating Lily's personal boundaries, but then again, that kiss she'd smashed into her cheek when she met up with her at Phina's wasn't out of the ordinary. She was her guardian cat, after all, and who cared about a few handsy touches when you've pawed at their starseed?
"Seriously, Lils, I highly doubt anybody here is going to recognize you with or without it."
And then her half naked not-boyfriend had to walk over and Lily was granted a reprieve because Zia's brain went way, way out the window.
"...Hi," She ended up saying embarrassingly similar to a smitten school girl and had a moment where she thought she'd go weak in the knees at his smile and then would have to get a grip and smash his face in for making her such an irritating cliche.
Luckily the worst that happened was blatantly obvious elevator eyes and an awkward moment of silence before she snapped out of it. "Oh! Um, this is Lily. She's just a friend. Back in town. All that junk. Uh, Lily, this is Pascal. He's... We... He's my... We're seeing each other?" She flashed him a confused glance as if seeking approval that this was an appropriate term and she hadn't over or underestimated anything enough to offend or put him off.

Lily frowned at Zia when she went to remove the hoodie, but she knew her friend was probably right so she didn't really argue its removal and proceeded to attempt to pull the thing over her head.
She was just pulling the thing off her head when Pascal walked over making her spin around at the voice, and give a small smile before dropping her hoodie down with her stuff as Zia introduced them. Lily didn't at all catch her dazed moment at all.
"It's nice to meet you," she said before looking at Zia and giving a small giggle. Did she just say seeing, as if Zia had a boyfriend. She giggled again, Lily needed to remember to fully separate Zia and Zirc because she was currently imagining the cat giving the boy kitty cuddles and trying to laugh.
She stuck out her hand, "saw you over in the ring. I don't even think my friend Nate can fight like that, but I could be wrong. I'd have to say I don't think I'd want to do that."
She smiled feeling slightly more relaxed and less irritable.

Pascal would have laughed at Zia's stumbling to find the proper term to describe their relationship but he knew he'd regret it later. Could you imagine? He might not get sex for a whole day! How horrible would that be? Terrible, so very terrible. He may have been a smart man but he was still a man and at the core of that he was still a human. He did better than his best not to laugh or make a funny face, simply nodding his head as she looked at him.
"Yeah, that's right. It's nice to meet you Lily," he greeted her.
Her reaction might have been even more amusing than Zia's had been, and curiously he found himself looking at her wondering just what was so funny. They didn't make that much of a strange pair, did they? If only he knew the reason why she was giggling because he'd probably be giggling too or at least until he realized that they were adults and cuddling a cat wouldn't be all that was being done. Then he'd be horrified, or just laughing uncontrollably. Here p***y, p***y, p***y. Jokes, they solve all awkward moments.
"Oh, I think anyone could do it with enough practice," he said, firmly shaking her hand.

Zia looked indignantly embarrassed at Lily's giggling and she elbowed her in the side with a pout. Though after a pause she kind of tilted her head towards Lily, and given their close proximity and lowered voice, might as well have been having a private conversation with her in front of poor third wheel Pascal.
"This is... uh... you know." Zia had minorly gushed about a guy during their sleepover the other week. But she wasn't going into details about what was discussed in front of Pascal. Or with anybody ever because that was a rare 'Zia pretending to be a giggly high schooler' night that only Lily and a few other Blood Moon Court girls were allowed to get upon explicit request.
Zia's elbow was resting on Lily's shoulder and with her head leaning on her's while they exchanged hushed whispers and glanced Pascal over, it was definitely high school all over again.
Gossip had occurred, sometime in the past, and now there was judgement, comparison and analysis. And none of it was directed at the poor guy who was the subject of it all.
"Anyway," Zia cleared her throat, bringing her speaking voice up to normal volume again. "Lily's been on vacation and needs a quick and dirty refresher." Yes it was a vacation, Lily, don't even argue. She had been on vacation, in Zia's mind, since she left the BMC, and if allowed to run amok, Zia would put the poor girl through basic training all over again.

Lily's face straighten at being elbowed, she hadn't meant to embarrass her friend, but she decided still to keep the thought to herself. She wasn't so keen on sharing the thought especially since it had her fighting another round of giggles.
She nodded as Pascal's words. She actually knew it was true, she'd trained with the BMC, she'd trained with Chaonis, but still she was doubtful of what she was capable of after six months of pretty much nothing, she hadn't even danced ballet seriously in the time frame.
At Zia's words, Lily nodded and gave a smile. She remembered the sleepover and the minor gushing, how could she forget. Outside of Phina, Zia was the only other familiar face she'd seen in two weeks.
She couldn't help, but to fall right in line with Zia whispering and trying hard not to giggle as she looked over to Pascal breifly. It was something she missed out on in high school. She'd never been one for gossip and had become a senshi at 16 which was rather life consuming for the past three going on four years. It was fun and amusing.
Lily frowned at the word vacation, as a replacement for her enforced hiatus. Maybe it started out as a vacation, but she ... did she just say dirty. Lily's frown deepened. "I'd much prefer a clean refresher, if its all the same." She smiled, "so what exactly are we going to be doing anyway."
