Jazz stared at the white walls of her room, still finding it hard to believe her parents put her in this place. "They wanted to get rid of you." The other Jazz told herself, although the other side knew they did it for her sake. Jazz got up from her bed and paced her room, trying to calm down. She hated the fact that doors had to be kept open unless you were changing. Rules of a psych ward. Even her way of dressing slightly changed because some parts of her clothing could have been used as weapons. "I'm going to be even more screwed up after I leave here." Jazz mumbled to herself. She didn't want to talk to any of these freaks here, nor did she want to do a group therapy or counselling. Everything was so over rated.

Henri sat in the back seat of his father’s car. He was being sent off to a safe place , his father had told him. Henri didn’t believe one word of it. His father didn’t care if he was safe or not. Henri’s father never cared about him. He knew that and that the proof to show it. His father had been him on multiple occasions. Each day Henri was surprised to be alive. His father blamed him for the death of his mother. Henri took the abuse because he couldn’t fight it.

As the pulled into the drive way of the hospital, Henri’s eyed were glued on it. He didn’t care where he went but he didn’t belong in a hospital. His father had been telling him some crazy stories about other personalities. Henri didn’t believe a word his father said. He didn’t have other personalities nor was he crazy. Henri knew he blacked out a few times but he just thought that was normal for him.

His father parked his car and got out. Henri got out as well grabbing his bag. He sighed as his father started toward the building without waiting for him. Henri wondered how far he would get if he ran. He didn’t have a choice knowing his father didn’t want his lunatic son on the run. Henri started toward the building and walked inside. The smell of cleaning supplies filled the hall. He gagged a little as he continued walking heading toward the administration office.

Becoming bored with her room, Jazz decided to roam the hospital. She walked until she found herself staring at a guy checking in with the administration office. "Another one." she thought. At least he was normal looking. Noticing she was staring for far too long, she turned on her heels and headed for the recreation room.

Jazz took a seat at a table in the corner and rubbed her arms. It was too cold for her comfort in here. She saw people reading books, playing cards, and other puerile games with smiles on their faces. Creepy, stupid smiles. She tapped her nails on the table, craving desperately for nicotine.
