SA's 2012 Fanart Event

Remember the Halloween of 2011 when SA held a fanart challenge and you could get points for prizes? Welp. Similar idea, only it's bigger and better this year! Our prized Christmas tree will have a buttload of presents for you to try and snag! So ready those pens and pencils children, things are about to get real.

Winter is coming...!

WHAT CHU TALKIN' 'BOUT WILLIS, HOW PARTICIPATE

There is a limit of two fanarts/fanfiction per day. They must be of official SA characters. NPCs, kids, villains, you name it.
All you have to do is post your fanart in this thread! Simple? Good. The more interesting parts are just below....
Your fanarts must follow the themes provided, there will be two categories (general winter themes and the special 25 days of Christmas). Make sure to write in bolden letters which category it is for. IF it pertains to the 25 days of Christmas category, make a note of the day it's meant for. (Timezones make things a mess...)
You MAY NOT play catch up on the special 25 theme challenge. If you miss that day, too bad. You missed it. However, you may submit for regular number of points.
Both your fanarts of the day may be for the same category. Or it can also be one for each category. Whatever floats your boat!
Can't draw? FRET NOT. You can put your excellent writing skills to use here by writing drabbles! They should be at least 200 words long and NOT MORE THAN 600 words long. Go over the word limit and you will not get your points. We will run them through word count...
25 days of Christmas themed fanarts/drabbles will win you 4 points.
General winter themed fanarts/drabbles will win you 2 points.
Posts will be edited with your total number of points for the day in red, please only post once a day with both of your entries if you're doing two!

It was a cold winter night, Tabby internally monologued, while looking quite
dapper in a deerstalker hat. She had returned to the complex to spend the
holidays and was neck-deep in her study of Metro Monthly's toothpaste
advertisements.

"Tabitha, supper is ready!" a familiar voice called from outside Tabitha's room.

She looked up from her mounds of magazines. "Interesting..." she cooed.

Tabby leaped from her bed and ran out the door with her trusty souvenir
magnifying glass. There her supper was, laid neatly across the long dining
room table flawlessly; a little too flawlessly.

There! Tabby noticed how empty one spot of the table was; a large plate was
clearly missing.

"THERE HAS BEEN A MURDER HERE," she announced. "NO WORRIES;
BECAUSE I'M ON THE CASE. Just call me... P.I. Tabby."

Nannybot clicked her heel and sighed in one motion. "What nonsense are you
babbling about now, Tabby?"

"Admit it, Nannybot! YOU were the murderer of Christmas Supper!" she
bellowed, pointing her magnifying glass at Nannybot.

"Under normal circumstances you would come to my room to call me down
for supper, but tonight you called me down―from a floor below! And now there
happens to be ONE VITAL dish missing; the fruitcake! WHERE IS THE
FRUITCAKE?"

"If you want fruitcake, I could just go fetch some more--" her eyes widened and
she pressed her lips together a little quicker than usual.

"So you admit that there was a fruitcake here before!" Tabby slowly
walked around Nanny, like what she saw many times on television. "So where
is it now? Did you dispose of it?"

"Of course not! I had set the table and gone to call for you. When I came
back, the fruitcake was gone! I would have addressed the issue by now, but
you're being quite disruptive right now!"

"A likely story, Miss Nanny, but I have different theory. A fellow robot
butler was annoying you, and one day you couldn't take it anymore. You
grabbed the heaviest thing you could find and WHAM! Right in the noggin!
YOU KILLED HIM AND THE FRUITCAKE WAS THE MURDER WEAPON!

Luckily for you, nobody else was around, and the murder weapon was a mere
confectionary. Nobody would know if you disposed of it, or so you thought..."

Tabby looked around the room. When her eyes fell upon a trail of fruitcake
pieces, she pursued it!

Through a hallway and into a room, the crumbles lead her to... five men,
head-to-toe in dark gear and armor, with santa hats over their helmets,
huddled in the corner.

"You guys?"

The bodyguards noticed her and panicked. They remained huddled in the
corner.

"OUT OF THE WAY!" Tabby bellowed and tumbled past the guards. What
she found... was gift wrap. She ripped it apart and found... Seven light-weight
friendship bracelets, each featuring a miniature slice of fruit cake, a high
polish finish, and a lobster claw clasp. Lying in the mess of gift wrap were
jewelry crafting tools and a tag labeled, "To: All Of Us; Merry X-mas!"

"Fruitcake lasts forever and is virtually indestructible, making it the perfect
craft supply," said Nannybot, who had just walked in on the six of them. "So
this is where the fruitcake had gone."

Tabby put on a bracelet and ordered the rest to wear theirs. When they put
the fruitcake slices put together, they created a whole miniature fruitcake.

With the murder mystery of christmas supper solved―Tabby, Nannybot, the
five guards, and other random people who were around, ate supper, opened
presents under the Christmas tree, and went to sleep, contented and exhausted.

Here's a quickie of Flo from last year. I kept picturing her as one of those people who stand in the corner at a party going, "I wish I wasn't here." She'd probably be wishing she had her cats or was in the lab, though.

Ahh, I thought it would be odd to edit a post. So here's a quick blurb!

Who did the academy think they were? He was their greatest rival! So, how dare they not invite him! Those snooty heroes could dress it up all they want, calling it a Charity Ball - but Recks Ruthor knew better. It was an amazing party, and they hadn't invited him.

"Oh-hoh, I bet they invited that lug, Mount Rock! I've seen him - he'll just eat all the hors d'oeuvres! There's no way his dancing could compete with mine."

The villain mulled, he had to do something to get even. If they weren't going to invite him to their shindig so that he could mingle with the questionably of age super heroines, then they were all going to pay. And so, Ruthor, drawing on what villain credentials he had (which weren't many) came up with an ingenious plan. No way they'd serve anything too strong at some event where there would be a bunch of snot-nosed kids. Their fruity beverages would perfectly hide the taste of something extra.

With the events of the Winter Ball later swinging into gear, Ruthor made his move. As simple a man as he was, it seemed even the bald villain had moments of clarity among his other rather obnoxious thoughts. With many of the heroes busy in their pursuit of actual threats, Recks made his way towards the freezers where the drinks were being chilled.

One after another, the contents of each plastic bottle were emptied into their precious reserves. Recks could barely hold back the flow of giggles from his throat, clutching desperately at his mouth before sneaking back outside. He didn't have to be inside to see the results of the clear substance he'd poured into their juices.

"Gahaha, the fools! They'll all abandon the dance floor to go to the bathroom. Then they'll know just how I feel, excluded!"

Recks was positively jovial as he began his ascent of a tree just yards from one of the ballroom's grand windows. At last, with one grunt and several pants, Ruthor wrapped his arms around one sturdy branch, hoisting his frame up onto it with a bit of exertion. Those heroes really didn't know how much work it was to escape them all the time!

"Ah hah... hah.. you will know the power of Recks Ru.. Ru, ohh, I'm thirsty."

Recks had not emptied all of his bottles. In fact, there was one he'd kept on hand, just for him. Unlike the previous bottles, however, this one contained water. Absolutely confident, and eager to enjoy the spoils of his scheming, the villain tilted his had back and drank deep.

For several minutes, Recks waited. He continued to drink casually, staring wide eyed through the glass and into the brightly lit room. He saw familiar faces - those who had chased and, on some occasions, caught him before. They would get their's.. Or, at least, that was what Recks continued to tell himself. Though this confidence began to wane as he saw no one rush off the dance floor.

"What gives?! Kids love juice, of course they'd drink it by no- Oh... ooo, oooHH!"

Recks voice quivered as a gurgling deep in his guts set in. In that moment, the would be party crasher became aware of his mistake. When filling the bottles... he must have done it in reverse. He... should have labelled the containers!

"Oh no, oh noo! I gotta get down, I'm gonna!"

Terror set in, as did several intestinal cramps. His squirming knocked soon knocked Recks off balance, dropping him right off his branch into the bushes below.

Winter theme: snowball fight 12/2

While all the sidekicks were sound asleep, a pleasant surprise would soon await them when they woke from their slumbers. The temperature was at the freezing point and it soon began to rain, and snow came trickling down. Soft little flakes floated down and stuck to the cold ground, it covered the green lawns, barren tree’s, and twinkling houses. One by one each student awoke to see the 4 inch snow greeting them outside their windows. Violet awoke to the sound of chatter outside of her room, the students learned that they did not have classes this day and wanted to enjoy their day off. Violet look hesitantly at the snow ,knowing that the temperature most likely dropped and would be very cool. She then heard her roommate Avalbane awake and she quickly rushed to the frosted window. “ oi luk at tis, it snoiwed ‘ow wonderful” avalbane said with a smile on her face. Violet on the other hand looked less thrilled. “ yeah it’s very pretty but won’t it be very cold?” she said. “ noit unless oi gave you a jacket” she said grabbing a warm jacket and gloves for Violet. Violet reluctantly put the items on and ava led her out the room to the snow covered lawns. “ tis is poifect, snoiw everwhere an’ it’s tick enough fo snoiwballs” ava said quietly tossing snow in the air. Violet felt the brisk air and immediately was uncomfortably cold. Ava could see this and made a little snow ball and tossed it at violet, and then ran for cover. Violet felt the cold snow on her skin and saw ava run, she tried her hand at making a snowball and it was pathetic but she persisted to throw it at ava, and it hit her on the leg. “ loiks like we have oiur self a snoiwball figh” ava said making another ball and flinging it a violet. They continued throwing balls and soon each had a small fort to protect themselves. “ oi won’t geve up, noiw you sourender” ava said toshing another ball at violet. “never, I won’t “ violet said making twice as many snowballs and fired them at ava’s fort. The war continued till violet became to cold and Ava couldn’t take it. “oi oi tink we should give tis up since we kno I’m the winne’” ava said “ I agree bu-u-u-ut I was the true winner” violet said as she tackled ava into the snow. “oi oi ok let’s go get soime hot chocolat” ava pleaded. “ ok that’s fine by me come on we can finish this later, since I obviously won” violet boasted. “ noi you didn't” ava said throwing another snowball at violet. They continued inside and grabbed hot drinks, each claiming they won the fight.

25 days of Christmas: Decorating the Tree 12/2
Tabby and Ane sat together drinking hot coco and eating little bitty sugar cookies in the shape of snowmen, they sat quietly for a little but that would soon be broken by the sound of knocking on the door. " hey guys we’re all going to meet Juno and Hack outside they have a surprise for all of us” said Dani. Tabby jumped up out of her seat and followed the group out while Ane was hesitant about following and stuck to the back of the group. “ I can’t wait to see what they got us, I wonder if it’s a reindeer or a giant cookie or maybe they found Santa, oh oh maybe its Santa pulled by giant cookie reindeer's?” she said with excitement in her voice. “ tabby where are they gonna get reindeer cookies that fly?” Basia said as she teleported outside. Everyone began sprinting down the hall with grins on their faces. “look what we found guys” hack said as he and Juno held a gigantic pine tree and set it outside. They set out tons of boxes of ornaments and lights. “ time to start decorating kids, Begin!!!” Juno shouted, and the student rushed to the boxes and began wrapping the tree in lights. “ lets go Dani and Ane we’re gonna need you too” said Clowrey. Dani and Clowrey began running around the tree and wrapping it is beautiful twinkling lights. “ Ane we need some help getting the top” Dani called out. Slowly Ane approached and made Dani weigh less and Dani floated higher while, she finished up the lights on the tree. All the other kids began putting on cool ornaments all different colors lay on every branch of the tree. “ hey everyone I just happened to get everyone's symbol turned into an ornament come find yours and lets make this tree unique” Hack said handing out symbols. After every ornament was on the tree the only thing left was the tree topper. “ hey Ane wanna put the topper up there for us” Juno said handing her the telephone topper. “ u-u-h sure i-i-I guess I could… do it” she said taking hold of it and with her special boots she was able to jump up high and reached the top where she carefully placed the topper then floated back down. “ tis is truly a winte’ wonde’ land. Wit a trey an everyting” Avalbane said with a smile. Everyone gathered together in front of the tree and they took a holiday picture. “ Say Sidekicks Rule!!!”.

#2) Decorating The Christmas Tree 12/2 (both art and drabble)

This year, Tabby returned home with Nannybot and five guards. They would
be celebrating Christmas with family, which would be Tabby's mom and her
sister Anemone, and other random people who might be there.

Nannybot looked quite stylish in an outfit appropriate for wine after work, and a
neat updo. The five tall men wore santa hats, and Tabby wore a pretty
holiday-themed dress. The seven of them disembarked. Nannybot looked at
Tabby and asked, "Tabitha, you're awfully quiet today."

"WhAT?" Tabby outbursted. "NONSEnsE. I'M FEELING DANDY TODAY AND
YOU KNOW IT."

She ran ahead inside the complex and there was the giant pine tree, bare of
decorations. They didn't notice Anemone, who was pale as a sheet and
blended with the white, sterile walls.

She had a box of ornaments in her arms; the girl looked weak but she could lift
frighteningly large crates due to her amazing mutation. Nannybot and the
guards approached her.

"Were you here all alone up until now, Anemone? It's still early!"

Anemone's eyes seemed to flutter open and she made a small gasp when she
noticed the younger version of her mother. She sighed...

Blushing, she said softly, "Y-yes; I was... a bit excited to spend the holidays
with everybody... i-it's not often..."

Her eyes flitted about and fell on her little sister, "T-Tabby...!"

At once, stars and angels and candy canes and colored spheres floated up
out of the crate around her, her skirt and braids wafted upwards and in
just a few seconds, Anemone was floating!

Her first instinct was to push her skirt down as her face slowly grew red. Nanny
and the guards let out some laughs; it reminded them of good times. Tabby
just sulked and sat in the corner.

"Oh dear, is the missus not around this year, again? Honestly..." Nanny
said. "Tabby, chin up! Now, why don't we get a head start with these
Christmas decorations?"

As more people filtered into the room and chattered, there was an overall
consensus that Anemone should be the one to put the star at the top of the
tree, since she could float.

"Yeah, since you can float, Anemone, YOU should be the one to put the star
on top!" Tabby blurted out, with spite in her tone.

Anemone gasped and suddenly dropped to the ground. The tone of Tabby's
voice was quite a shock to her. What on Earth had gotten into her adorable
little sister...?!

Tabby was still pouting, sitting with her arms crossed, when she started to
float. Anemone concentrated on keeping her sister afloat as she walked up to
her. She held it up the star for Tabby to take it.

She breathed in, trying to make her voice sound more assertive, "I... don't
know what's bothering you, Tabby, but...

I love you, and I just want things to be right between us again."

The star in her hand gleamed. "Merry Christmas, little sis."

Tabby, still afloat, took the star from Anemone's hand. She felt warm, like her
heart was glowing. She levitated higher and higher, as she prepared to place
the star on top of the tree... finally, she was at the top.

She looked down on all the faces who were watching her, and let the moment
sink in. Then she realized, "Wait! There's something missing here!"

The people in the room were confused. "What?"

"Anemone! You have to put the star on top with me, too!"

With widened eyes, she floated up as well, and each of the sister's held
the star with one hand, placing it onto the Christmas tree together.
