What conventions do you guys plan on going to or wish you could go to? What do you look forward to the most?

San Diego Comic Con! I have a friend that goes every year because his mom is really into it! I wish so bad to be able to afford it, but I'd need a plane ticket down there, too. It just looks like so much fun. Otherwise, I've been wanting to go to Seattle Sakura Con since... 2004? I'd even settle for Emerald City Comic Con! I've never had the money for a convention, though. cat_cry
But that's okay, because I have the internet for youtube videos and cosplay pictures, heh.

Going to SacAnime in January. One of my friends invited me to go with him as the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith (from Doctor Who).

My big con has been Ohayocon since 2007. I staff that con and it's amazing. This year's theme is going to be Zombie Apocolypse. I actually hate zombies, but the con is going to be the best one yet. Each year we get more and more attendees. Last year, excluding the amazing artists, voice actors and musical guests, we had over 13,000 attendees making us the 9th largest anime/Japanese culture convention in the US. And we are the winter con anywhere! YAY. Ohayocon is held every January in Columbus, Ohio. In case you haven't guessed, I get all excited about Ohayocon.
Besides that, I have started staffing My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic conventions and this year, Canterlot Gardens was held in Strongsville, Ohio, just outside of Cleveland. It was fantastic. All but one of the 6 main Pony voice actors were there and many of the others were there too. I had a blast interacting with everyone. It was great because I was head of security, actually SECRUITY, for Guest Relations. (our TShirts got mis-spelled- it was hilarious, but the guests loved it, so when the corrected shirts came in, we just kept the incorrectly spelled ones for the guest relations security team!)
Next year there is another Pony con called CutieMark con and I will be staffing that too.
Fun times.
The only con I ever attended that I didn't staff was Otakon in Baltimore- That is a huge anime con. But I think I prefer a slightly smaller con, one that doesn't have 60k people crowding the convention center!
