Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

"Oh..." Zinnia said as she saw which field they had landed on. Normally she didn't have to worry about it when she saw the dubious footing, because all of her pokemon could fly... except for Zebo.
"Don't worry about it, Zebs!" she said bracingly to the purrloin who followed at her heels. "You're graceful, right? No need to worry. Just do your best!"
Zebo rolled his eyes and slunk into his place in the stadium. He peered over the edge of the canyon. That looked like a long fall...

Xander looked at the field information and the field itself then looked over at Rei. "Remember to watch out for the pool." He said with a bit of worry and the Ponyta dipped her head in agreement as they separated.
The blond moved to his position and smiled at Zinnia in greeting. "Ready?"

"Ready!" Zinnia said. "Zebs, Snarl!"
Zebo's muzzle wrinkled in a threatening display of his teeth. He began to growl and pace, glaring at the ponyta.

"Don't let that stop you Rei!" Xander called. "Use Ember!"
Rei shuffled at first from the snarl but then opened her mouth and shot the ember at the feline.

Zebo leaped into the air, but he was still badly singed by the fiery attack. He gracefully ran across the edge of the canyon until he could leap onto Rei's back and administer his claws in retaliation

Zebo could smell burning fur-- his own fur. He yowled in pain and leaped away from Rei.

((That's a lot of crits. XD But here's my math:
100 base damage - 50 attack (snarl) = 50 * 2 (crit hit) = 100))
Zebo yowled as he took the beating.
"Zebo!" Zinnia exclaimed. Their opponent was very tough. "Payback!"
The purrloin leaped at Rei again.
