Article II - Rules and GuidelinesWhen Creating A Thread
i. A thread must be in the correct location and/or subforum.
The Main Forum - This is dedicated to General discussion in regards to yaoi and shounen ai.
The Pocky Shop - Discussion on Pre-Existing Creations such as anime, manga, novels, television shows, movies, and web comics go here.
The Arena - Fanfiction, fanart, original art and various related contests may be posted here.
Picture-Post - Self-explanatory really: Share images with the guild.
The Play House - A Role Playing forum.
News Flash! - Have news on a convention or a new yaoi anime you want to share? This is the place.
Rant and Rave - Real life problems and topics go in here, along with anything else you need to rant or rave about!
Chatterbox - The chatterbox is where everything else goes. Newbie introduction threads, general nonsense, advertising, non-guild related topics, etc.
The Chamber of Secrets - The Chamber of Secrets is a restricted area where mods get together and discuss guild issues.
ii. Opening posts must contain at minimum 2-3 correctly spelled sentences explaining its purpose.
iii. Must promote discussion within the thread.
iv. Titles may not be posted in all caps, 1337, symbols, or rAnDoM caps.
v. Titles must be informative to the purpose of the thread.
Correct: [Gravitation] - Is Yuki Hot or What?
Incorrect: Don't you think he is hot?
Replyingi. Replies must be at least 3 words long.
ii. Replies may not be solely intended for a bump or emoticon.
iii. Must be related to the thread in which they are being posted.
vi. Personal attacks and other inflammatory comments are not tolerated.
Linksi. All links should be
clearly marked as to what kind of content they lead to.
ii. Links may
NOT lead to any content rated over PG-13 directly or indirectly or to copyrighted material downloads.
Picturesi. Adult/R-Rated Content is strictly prohibited! This includes the following:
Sexual, oral, or other types of viewable or assumable intercourse.
Direct or clear views of the male organ, flaccid or erect.
Bodily fluids clearly caused by sexual activities.
Excessive and/or graphic bodily injuries such as but not limited to decapitation, amputation, and disembowelment.
ii. No page-stretching or quoting of pictures.
Article III - PoliciesConstitution Violation Policy:We reserve the right to handle Constitution violations as we see fit. Members may receive anything from a mild warning to an outright ban on their membership. Any threads that violate the constitution can and will be removed without notice. Action against members who violate the ToS may be retroactive and may not happen at the same time as the actual violation.
Filesharing Policy: You may not share or solicit links or sites with unauthorized filesharing (downloading) of licensed materials. This includes, and is not limited to, fansub sites, scanlation sites, "free" music sites, bittorrent directories, mirc channels, filesharing sites, and direct download links.
Flaming Policy: We do not tolerate flames and personal attacks to other members. Depending on the situation, you may be warned or banned outright for abusive behavior towards your fellow members.
Ignorance is not Bliss Policy: It is
your responsibility to be aware of Gaia's ToS and our Constitution rules and policies. Claiming ignorance of these rules does not exempt you from the consequences of violating them. It is up to you to read the rules; if you chose not to do so, you do so at your own detriment.
Linking Policy: You may not link or direct people to any site above PG-13 in nature. This includes both direct or indirect links. An indirect link is anything from a full site.com to directions on how to get to a site.
Misplaced Threads Policy: The Crew can and will move and/or delete threads as they see fit at any time without warning.
Scanlation Policy: The Guild's Official stance on Scanlations is that you may not post scanlated manga, links, or advice on how to acquire scanlated manga. You may discuss scanlated titles that you've read, but no links are allowed. Encouraging users to PM you to share links will get you warned by a crew member and your post deleted. Remember, scanlations are against the ToS of Gaia.
