Warden examined the field as he stepped down to it. Odd, the first one he had been on was very different, full of trees. He supposed they could change, and they could change to have nothing. Oh well. His opponent appeared and he greeted him with a quick nod.
"Shadow Ball!" Sienna called.
Warden obeyed and fired a ball of shadow at his opponent.

Warden took the hit deservingly. He didn't mean to interrupt the other pokemon's introduction, it felt quite rude of him. There was no time for apologies though, this was a battle. He fired another Shadow Ball.
