'Tired,' so tired was all that ran through the male's mind as he stumbled around in the snow, feeling the crunch underfoot. Tired and confused, the hunger too, gnawing at him. That's what happend when one has been walking for days, aimless and lost. At first he was frantic, running, only slowed down by his breathlessness from the cold, and the weighted feeling trying to run through the thick snow on the ground. He didn't know why he'd been running anymore, he was lost and confused. The dark haired male looked ragged and ready to collapse. His mind racing, partly he was scared, the other half of that was contributed to by the confusion. He'd forgotten why he was running, there had been something, he'd been sure of that for awhile, but now his mind seemed to dull, an ache coming along when he tried to dig back into his memory.
He could only come up with his name, everything else was absent from his mind, 'shouldn't there be more?' Panting, the male slid unintentionally down a small hill, gasping when he went falling forward and down meeting the cold snow underneath. Shivering, he lay there dazed in the cold, his vision had already blurred, his exhaustion urging him to sleep. That was dangerous, he knew that but not one muscle would move. And here he'd been the slightest bit hopeful because he'd seen some light from what had to be a village nearby. He'd thought he could reach it but that didn't seem likely now, it was darkening, nightfall coming and he was equally as darkly clothed, the only sign that he was there amongst the bright white snow. Though, who would find him now, "H-help," groaning out, his head cushioned into the snow, unable to move and his eyes drooping shut.
Thankfully it wasn't still snowing, it had just been covering the area before, but was now calm. But, as it was, passing out in the cold was not ideal, as the dark haired male lay there motionless, cushioned in the snow, peaceful but cold. As night fell and it was darkness all round, it had been hours since the male passed out where he had. A small light bobbed around, coming closer to where he was, soon followed by a form holding it. It was a flame lit for light to see by, a few men had been coming back to the village. They'd been out for whatever reason, wood, hunting, what have you. And it was late, but thankfully they had come by. Seeing the young male in the snow, not moving when they called out to him. One still holding their light, the others had pulled the male up carefully and carried him back heading right to the healer's place, the elven male that was there in the village.

-----It is being utterly terrified and facing fear head on  ℒϑℛℇℵLuren was dozing, half asleep at his desk, with an unfinished potion spread out before him. He had been working on it for the daughter of the butcher, she had a harsh cough and it was getting worse, and her father was frantic. Well...he had been before Luren had calmed him, and told him to stop by tomorrow for the vial.
He was woken by knocking at his door, and he stretched his limbs out, as he rose from his chair to open the door. He was greeted by a young man, holding a lantern, and another with a third person in his arms.
"Help...him..." the man gasped, as he came up, the one with the lantern shining the light onto the pale face of the man they had found in the snow. Luren's eyes widened at the sight.
"Come in. Quickly now, quickly. He needs to get warm." he said, moving aside, as the two men came into his home, the third one unconscious in their arms. He had them lay the man down, on a bed closer to the fire place, as he settled down next to him. He gently placed his hands on him, closing his eyes and concentrating on his healing magics. As he checked the unconscious male over for frostbite, he continued to direct the other two in helping him recover.
"There are more blankets in the closet, fetch three or the thicker ones. Boil water, and put it in the skins. Then place them over him, between the blankets." he said, and the two began to do as he asked. By now they knew not to argue with a Healer, not when he was trying to keep the man from dying. Mamoru was out cold, a deep sleep, not a good type of it though as he was practically frozen. The male was unaware of the bustling around going about him. His breathing was low, almost unnoticeable apart from the slight rise and fall of his chest. Bits of snow that had stuck on him, melting off as he was nearer to the fire place. Slowly thawing from the cold, the tingling he felt in his fingers especially started to bring him out of his deep sleep state. Feeling the hands on him, feeling around checking on him, he let out a light groan, at least some signal he was still alive definitly. Shivering, a pins and needles feeling going through him, parts of him that had been numb were thawing, feeling better. But the sensation bothered him.

"He's fine...don't worry." he said, gaining the attention of the two that had found him. "Would you like for me to tell him who found him?" he asked, looking over at the two.
"Oh...oh good..." the young man, that had been carrying the lantern, sighed as he leaned against the wall, not hearing the last bit of Luren's comment. His father, the one who had carried the male, who was now laid across the cot, shook his head.
"Nah...it's okay." the elder responded, to Luren's other question. Both waved, as they left, and Luren was alone with the recovering male.
"You are very lucky they found you when they did. Whoever you are." Luren commented, as he stoked the fire, to make the room warmer. True strength and courage is what makes true H E R O E S

Mamoru had stopped shivering, he was warmer and the pins and needles feeling had faded. He was relaxed and curled up. After awhile, he'd started to become a bit more aware. Wakening slowly, his eyes opening, seeing he was inside somewhere. 'Wha...?' Very awake now, he jolted up, immediately regreting that, groaning again leaning his head over, hand to his forehead rubbing lightly. "W-Where am I?" Things had stopped spinning since they did so when he sat up too quick. Laying back down, that had felt better. Looking around the immediate space there, seeing a whitish haired male. He looked puzzled but curious.

-----It is being utterly terrified and facing fear head on ℒϑℛℇℵ The Healer heard the groan, and then the muttered question. He turned, from where he was making dinner, and gave the man a small smile.
"Ah, you're awake. Good. Here, it's soup." he said, as he poured some of the warmed liquid into a bowl.
"As for where you are; you are in my home. I am the Healer of the village. My name is Luren. And you?" he asked, as he began to rearrange the blankets around the young man, so he could hold the bowl and not lose any of his regained warmth. He did look like he was getting better, but it never hurt to get something warm into his system. That, and it had a few herbs in it that would help fight any illnesses that had taken advantage of a weakened immune system. 'I wonder where he came from? He doesn't look well...and the style of clothing is not one I'm familiar with.' he thought, as he poured himself a bowl as well. He had forgotten to eat, like he normally did, but at least he remembered before his stomach decided to embarrass him this time. True strength and courage is what makes true H E R O E S

Mamoru had sat up a bit, to hold the bowl. Looking still confused, or more slightly puzzled as he listened to the male. Nodding absentmindedly, "O-oh...Um..." blinking looking around thinking how had he gotten here, his mind a bit fuzzy just knowing before he was out in the snow. Looking down into the bowl of soup. "Huh...Oh, i'm..." pausing barely a second as he followed through saying, "Mamoru..." Looking down nodding, "Yea..mamoru," still a little bleary eyed sleepy like too though he was almost uncertain about his name but it popped out of his mouth so easily like motor memory. He lifted the bowl, blowing at it making sure it was cooled a little, before sipping it a bit, it felt good the warmth going down his throat. "This is good..." Sighing lightly, looking to the male that'd given his name Luren. "Luren...thank you, Um, you said you're a healer so I guess you helped me? ...S-sorry I'm a little confused...I don't really remember what happened, or why i'm here." He just remembered walking in the snow that was it.

-----It is being utterly terrified and facing fear head on ℒϑℛℇℵ Luren only inclined his head a bit, as he listened to the man. He would have blamed the amnesia on the shock, but...something was off. Amnesia was a tricky thing, and this looked far too clear cut to be such a thing.
"Mn...not to worry, Mamoru. You can stay here until you feel like leaving." he said, gesturing to the room, and the house at large, in open invitation. And then he finished his own bowl, and stood back up. 'Oh...well I have to get back to work...' he thought, as he looked back to his work room, where the half finished potion sat.
"Ah, there is more soup in the pot, if you want more. If you need me, I'll be in that room. I have to finish a few things." he said, as he pointed to his work room.

Mamoru had been sipping back more of the soup. Lifting his head as Luren spoke again, he smiled lightly, "thank you Luren...that helps a lot...t-though, I'm not sure how long it'd be," that he'd stay since he didn't know where it was he'd go to otherwise, so he just was saying the comment like he didn't have a time when he'd leave so he really wanted to see that it was okay. Nodding, "Oh, alright, thank you." His gaze following looking to where the room was Luren would be going back to work to, where he'd find him. "Okay, if there's anything then I know where you are." Lightly chuckling, he'd slowly been feeling better mostly now that he'd thawed out. Yawning lightly, he went back to drinking back more of the soup. He was so confused right now, still thinking over what was going on, he still wasn't too sure what'd happened or why he was so frazzled right now.

-----It is being utterly terrified and facing fear head on ℒϑℛℇℵ It would be a long while before Luren finished the potion he was working on. It required a few things that he had not been able to gather in this season, but he was a Shaper. Which was a good thing, as he could simply create what he needed. True, he needed other material to create from, but he would simply buy another pen later. It did make a wonderful flower though. And one that he needed. So, after sacrificing several writing instruments, and a piece of paper, he had finished 'gathering' the rest of the ingredients, and just had to blend them. Now, he could have simply made the potion itself, but...he had found that took more effort than simply making the missing ingredients, and as the village Healer he needed to be ready for late night calls. Still...it took a long time to finish. By the time he was done the candle had burned quite low.
"Mamoru? Are you still up?" he called, as he remembered his other patient, who had not said anything for the duration of time he had been in his work-area.

heyyyy...sooo...not in the city till tomorrow night...out at relatives...freezing my butt off and there's ick internet connection....only seems to work if im in the bathroom standin at the window)) Mamoru had found himself noding off a bit. resting for maybe a few minutes but he couldn't stay asleep just then. So sitting up he got up and tip toed over to be quiet. he was curious, looking in where Luren was. He had the blanket over his shoulders wrapped around. he was watching him as he worked, a bit in awe. it was something to see what he was doing. When he had finished, Mamoru jumped a little as he was spoken to. "O-oh...uh...I'm right here..." moving into where luren was closer. showin he had been very near then the bed. "sorry...i was just curious...what you were doing...uh...what was it?" his ability.

"Mn...you should still be resting, you know." he chided, as he turned to face the young man. True, he was close to a bed if he should have fallen, but it was not good for him to be moving. Not just yet. Rest was best.
"Ah, you mean Shaping? It is an ability I was born with. A rare ability, I can count on both hands how many others I have met. And I have lived a long time." he replied, as he began to guide Mamoru back to bed. He checked the fire, making sure it still had enough fuel for the night, as he gently sat the other down.

Mamoru flushed a little like a little kid getting caught at something they shouldn't be doing. "heh...Sorry, was just curious what you were doing." Smiling sheepishly, the blanket still hanging around his arms. Nodding as he said what it was he'd been doing. "Wow, sounds like it...I can't say I've ever met anyone that can do that," chuckling, "Then again I can't say much I guess...I don't really remember." Shrugging, thinking. Being led back to the bed, "looks pretty amazing though...quite an ability." smiling lightly nodding. Sitting back on the bed curling his legs up under him while he sat. "Must be really convenient, helpful since you're a healer."

-----It is being utterly terrified and facing fear head on ℒϑℛℇℵ Luren nodded along, listening to the other chatter, as they walked back to the bed. He smiled at the last part, chuckling at the truth in that statement.
"It is. I don't have to wait for the ingredients to be in season. And in drying them they mostly loss the potency that is required." he said, as he made sure the Mamoru was healing well, "Anyway. I am done for tonight. You need to sleep, and so do I. My room is there." he continued on, as he pointed to a room beside the house workshop, the only room with a closed door, "If anything bothers you, come and ask. Good night." and with that he got back up, and made his way back to his room. Sleep sounded like a very nice idea after how much energy he had spent today.
