This was definitely a new part of town for Super Sailor Tsui to be exploring, and to say she was excited was a gross understatement. She had went to the zoo countless times, so much that she almost had the place memorized by now, but now she was near a barn named Ravenwood, and while she didn't immediately sense danger in the area, she remained alert. Just because there wasn't danger now didn't mean that there wouldn't be later on, and if there was one thing that Tsui hated, it was to be caught off guard. And losing. She really hated to lose. But she wasn't too concerned with that this evening. For now, she approached Ravenwood barn in hopes of seeing an animal that she loved but seldom got the chance to see, even at the zoo. Horses! It was a selfish reason to be out this far away from her usual patrol grounds, but Tsui simply could not pass up the chance to see a few of them. Besides, who knew if there were youma lurking around and they needed her protection? The Tiger had to make sure that all citizens of Destiny City, including the Equestrian type, were safe, right?

The wind was a bit nippier, a bit stronger from Sailor Nyx's perch on top of the Ravenwood barn. Fall was settling in. Brown eyes scoured the orange-touched horizon in between homework assignments -- a compromise made with herself so that she didn't end up back in trouble and across the Atlantic. The wood and metal roof offered little in the way of physical comfort, especially in her sailor fuku, but she felt nonetheless relaxed. It was finally second-nature to shed the visage of Harper and let Nyx come forth. Today, she would not truly patrol Destiny City (and such patrols were fewer than before); instead, she would sit perched atop that which was hers and protect it. The thought of Jani being safe below kept her comfortable. In that dedication, Harper and Nyx were exactly the same. This was her home turf, and it was good to be home. When her senses picked up a touch of magical power, Nyx shifted into action. Books were aside, now forgotten. It was an Order signature, but that was no reason to be relaxed -- where Order went, Chaos could follow! (But it could also be Pasiphae or even Kallichore, so.) Nyx resolved herself to looking carefully in the general direction of the Order aura, hoping to spot the "interloper" before having to come down.

Normally Tsui would have noticed the Order energy signature, but the moment she entered the barn, her mind was set on one thing and one thing only. Horses. Tsui loved animals, though she was limited to owning just one, and there was something about horses that really got her into all-out 'animal' mode. Like most young girls, Tsui had always wanted one as a child, even though she knew it to be impossible to own, and this sentimentality, as well as the fact that she hardly got to see them, even in her home town, made her quick to drop all of her defenses and move to look at them. She did everything except all out gush, and she approached the closest stable to her, catching the mare's attention and causing her ear to flick back towards her before shifting her great head to eye the Senshi that stood just outside her stable. "You're a beautiful one," Tsui said, certain that she was stating the obvious but doing nothing to sate her desire to pet the horse. The mare gave a snort but didn't turn around, and Tsui was going to try coaxing her to come closer when she felt the ping of an Order aura. Despite her sphere, Tsui was not one for stealth, or tact, for that matter, as she called out. "Hey? Is there another Senshi here?"

No one she recognized, civilian or otherwise. A nearly monochromed stray senshi had wandered into the barn and, unlike the mousing cats, she wasn't welcome to stick around. This wasn't an alleyway or a star-strewn battlefield; this was her barn and her charges. As long as they both wore magical fuku, she had a say on visitors. What could this girl want, just wandering in here? Nyx hardly needed the prompt to jump down from the roof and strike up a confrontation. Dust settled around her boots after a well-practiced soft landing. "Sailor Nyx," she said as a curt way of introduction. She sized up the fluffy senshi; good, not an eternal. Though... perhaps there was something familiar. Nonetheless, Nyx held a solid stance. "What's your business here?" At the sound of a familiar voice, the mare the other senshi had been interested in turned with a soft nicker. Oblivious to the tension, she nosed at a fur-padded hand.

Tsui was taken off guard; she had sensed the aura, but she couldn't exactly pin point the exact location and her attention was thoroughly on the horses. She spun around and instinctively rose her fists; too many had tried sneaking up on her lately and the Senshi of Tigers wasn't simply going to allow them the chance to get the pounce on her again. Of course, it made her look paranoid, but after what she had experience recently? She was only playing cautiously, as her allies would have wanted, right? She had recognized the Senshi, long before she had introduced herself, and Tsui's poker face was absolutely horrible. Her golden eyes widened and her jaw dropped, before forming into a scowl, and she immediately addressed Sailor Nyx. "Hey, you're that one senshi from the ambush! Yeah, I remember you!" Tsui had both fond memories of this senshi fighting alongside her during the ambush, but those 'fond' memories immediately made way for one memory in particular. She was certain that this was the same girl with short aqua-colored hair and grass-green fuku that had interfered with one of her attacks and ruined a perfectly good Tiger Fist Strike. Perhaps it was this memory, and not her rather psuedo-hostile approach that made Tsui growl and pull her attention away from the mare all together.

This senshi was nearly unreadable for just how readable she was - so many emotions! What's more, the girl seemed very sure that they had met. Nyx was caught up in the sudden storm, her own harsh demeanor slipping momentarily before she could refocus. She blinked and cleared her throat. "Which ambush? There's been a few," she replied bitterly. Before she asked, Nyx had begun replaying some of her fiercest battles in her mind quickly; both out of a necessity to recall the other 'soldier' and because the images were hard to think about for very long. Invisible battle scars raised over memories - covered now, yet not completely healed. Without knowing, however, she was at a clear disadvantage. " That's what you get for letting your notes get so out of date, Harper. At least I don't think it's that cowardly snit who sympathized with the Dark Mirror Court." Nonetheless, a fight was a fight, if that's what this came down to. "Look, I just want you out of here - go back to the city before you attract youma. This is my turf."

Now Tsui was beginning to secondguess herself, and she hated when that happened. She never liked being caught with her britches down and she often failed at the recovery when the situation went back. She was certain that she met this Senshi before, but perhaps the details weren't as clear as she once remembered. Tsui scratched at the back of her neck, trying to recall the event but now, admittedly, it was a little too hazy for her tastes. Never the type to accept defeat with grace or dignity, the Tiger senshi shrugged and tried to pretend that the topic was never brought up. Especially since she seemed so keen on getting her out of here all of a sudden. "You know, the one where the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Court attacked us. But don't worry about it... maybe I confused you with someone else. There's so many of us anyway..." She made no mention of even hearing that last part, and if anything, she actually moved closer to the nearest stall to pet the horse. She didn't do it necessarily to anger the other senshi- she just never got the chance to see horses this close and wasn't going to leave the stables until she got the chance to pet one. Now that she did, she was more than willing to be on her way. Well, perhaps after a few more strokes. "Hm, you're really soft, you know that?" Tsui said, blatantly ignoring the other Senshi to shower the horse with affections for a little while longer. What was the other Senshi going to do anyway? Forcibly kick her out? Certain that it wouldn't come to that, the Tiger senshi continued to whisper sweet nothings to the horse, her petting migrating from its nose, to its muzzle and then eventually its neck. "Don't worry. There aren't any youma around here! If there were, then Big Bad Tsui's going to chase them all away!"

Negaverse and the Dark Mirror... that had to be the most recent of the terrible, mass run-ins with chaos. There was so much smoke, her lungs burned even as their feet settled in the in the pristine and hollow Moon Sanctuary. It's possible that they had fought side-by-side and not even realized it. Just as possible this girl was a loony, determined by the census at senshi meetings. Nyx could have backed down a bit at that point, willing to investigate further before shoving the other senshi out of the barn door. This was "her" barn, but perhaps she was being too harsh and -- Get away from my horses.A veritable emotional volcano erupted within Nyx, one she didn't realize sat quietly bubbling below the surface. She had been perturbed to see another power signature lighting up her barn like a beacon, surely, but she never planned to do more than talk them down and do a bit of strong-arming to get the point across. Dismissing Nyx and going on to touch her precious charges was enraging. "I said get out!" she growled, charging ahead with a fist ready.

Tsui had seen little harm in what she was doing, and the thought of a possible attack hadn't once crossed her mind. Especially not from this one. As far as Tsui was concerned, she was an ally, and all Tsui wanted to do was get a quick pet in on the horses and be on her way. She could understand the desire to be alone, as she preferred to do her patrols alone as well. It was simply a call back to the animal of her sphere to want to prowl the hunting grounds alone, and she would go back to that routine if she could just get a few more strokes in. The horse's ear picked up and it wisely backed away, and that was the only warning the Senshi of Tigers got before Nyx charged at her. She turned to look at the approaching threat, and despite her experience in fighting and her increased speed, Nyx succeeded in catching Tsui off guard. The blow connected and Tsui's back hit the gate, and she gave an angered shout as she lost her balance and fell onto her bottom. "HEY!" She rubbed her cheek She wasn't sure if Nyx was going to give her another warning, or if she'd give her a follow up, but Tsui wasn't going to allow for either. She tried to roll to her feet and return the favor, steeling her shoulder and bull rushing ahead to tackle Nyx in the gut. She didn't summon her magic, as she felt there was little need to, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to put her all into it. Aqua Drageen Tsui totally deserved this, for the record. c; Is it alright that I assumed the punch connected? If not, PM/IM me and I can change it.

Nyx readied herself to hail another heavy blow on the prone senshi; she didn't care that the 'enemy' was down and likely had no way of acting otherwise. There was was not going to be any discussion, or pleading, or dismissals. Tsui, was it? - Tsui had to be out of her sight before she would yield. At least, that was the initial train of thought. Previously, Nyx had gone toe-to-toe with fellow members of the Order during Polaris' training session. The notion was not foreign to the senshi, even serving to aid her lack of trepidation in throwing the first punch. And yet, this situation was quite different and, worse, her opponent so much more scrappy. Tsui's shoulder rush connected like hitting a brick wall, the Phantasmagoria senshi's vision bursting into stars as the oxygen was forced out of her lungs. The dense earth of the barn floor met her back unforgivingly and gritty dust burned its way down her throat with the first deep gasp. Taking on the defensive for just a moment, Nyx kicked out against further attacks while mitigating the ensuing coughs. In the distance, two horses who remained in the fields perked their ears. Instinctively, they bolted for the barn - then off to the side, digging divvets under their hooves. For, ironically, the unnatural creature was trampling its way towards the two energy signatures... ChibiGingi I left it open for you, so s'all good for me! Nyx however...

This certainly wasn't going to do good for her record and Tsui suspected that if there was someone in the White Moon Court that she would have to answer to for striking at a fellow senshi, then she'd be in a heap of trouble. Maybe that was the underlying problem with their court in general, reflected at the meeting and now with their transgression against each other. What was this Senshi's deal? All Tsui wanted was to pet some damn horses! Couldn't she have seen that they were on the same team? Not that Tsui held herself back, and she could tell that the other Senshi would feel that for a few days to come. Not that Tsui cared much for rank differences and such, as she had met other basic ranked Senshi or opponents that would have no problem competing outside of their type class, but one doesn't take a bull rush to the chest and NOT feel it. She was going to say something along the lines of gloating when her opponent kicked at her, and Tsui, too caught up in her rush, didn't have the time to react appropriately, taking the kicks and tumbling backwards and right onto her butt. That was it. No one knocked her on her butt like that and got away with it! She gave a low growl, curling her fist and preparing to go for a punch of her own. She was halfway there and through her sentence when she felt the cold prickling of a Chaotic aura, and the way she stopped suddenly and looked around would have resembled a meerkat on the Serengeti and not to much the big cat of her sphere. "That's it! I'm going to pull your ears and beat you so hard I'll make your teeth - s**t, you feel that?!"

Those wild kicks must have done something, Nyx reasoned, because this soldier didn't seem like the type to lay off - regardless if the opponent was eating dust on the ground. She liked that. The question remained if Nyx had actually made contact or if she was just making such a spectacle of herself that it had brought pause. There was no doubt that the dust still felt like glass in her throat as she gulped in air, however, so she would not take the reprieve for granted. Slower to react was her hearing. Everything spewing out of the other senshi's mouth since touching one of her charges so brazenly was being filed under 'angry growls.' It was the fine, magical p***k of chaos that brought her to her senses, for it indicated a true intruder - youma. "I told you. I knew this would happen!" Nyx rolled to her side, slowly pushing herself off of the dirt floor. It was close. Maybe even-- The sound of the... possibly dumb, yet menacing youma cut off her thoughts. It was a pink and splotchy pyramid fallen over and spilling everything out, if a pyramid actually had such things. What part of the Negaverse thought up this stuff? It was also partially running into the side of the barn while attempting to come in -- another try, a successful try, could be devastating.

The two of them would come out of this situation bruised and filthy as hell, that was for sure. But the fight wasn't over, though. If anything, it seemed like it had just begun, and while Tsui was eager to just drop the subject and handle the more important task, she wasn't going to allow a single insult or the blame to be thrown onto her go unavenged. "Oh, so you're a prophet now?" Tsui snapped, curling her fists but saving her blows for the youma this time. No, Tsui seldom backed down from a fight, and while this one was no different, she was immediately grateful to have someone else there with her to help take it down. This was a thing of nightmares, and she had hoped that despite their little spat earlier that they'd manage to work together to take this thing down. Because Tsui wasn't quite sure if she could take this thing out on her own... "Can we save the 'I told you so' for AFTER we dust it?" She hoped that the other Senshi would be better at strategizing a plan of attack than she was at letting people pet her horses. Tsui understood her protective nature and she moved to strike at the youma before it could threaten them or the barn with the horses inside of it, white aura beginning to gather at her hands and hoping to hit its side, not quite wanting that green stuff that was spilling over to touch her. "Striking Tiger Flurry!" If she lucked out she could tilt it over and give them a chance to figure something out, and she hoped to connect with her blow and get it away from the barn and the horses and not just make matters worse as she her luck in the past had a want to do. Aqua Drageen Way too much Silent Hill for you, girl!

Nyx would be saving up her I told you sos alright. The seasoned senshi didn't need a crystal ball or mystical powers (or... more mysical powers, really) to see the outcome of Tsui's intrusion. The horses were screaming at the encroachment of the unnatural creature, something she had taken up post there to exactly prevent. She had to hand it to the Tiger senshi, though - the girl had power behind those claws. Nyx gave a final heave, coughing up barn dirt and inhaling delicious air, and stood with her forced ally. Tsui's attack toppled the heavy thing over on its side with a force that shook the ground - and gave them an advantage over the brute. It's deep, gurgling roar seemed to indicate it would not be a long one. "Keep that thing down!" Nyx yelled, slamming the large doors shut. "And keep it nearby. I have an idea." She lept to the hayloft of the old barn, patching together a plan. They were going to need something big to take it down, ultimately. ChibiGingi Never enough Silent Hill! (And feel free to play the youma if you like~)

Tsui wasn't the type for strategies, so she was more than willing to give Nyx full reigns of that part. Fighting was her forte, not so much the thinking and plotting bits. And the sight of the creature falling back with a gurgle gave her some hope- it wasn't enough to dust it or keep it down, but it certainly let the youma and her makeshift partner know which Senshi to not mess with. "Haha, take that! You'll learn the hard way not to mess with horses or the people that protect them!" Tsui said, cracking her knuckles and ready to give it another beatdown. Nyx's shout, followed by the slamming of the barn doors, caught her attention, and she couldn't help but repeat the order. "Wait, what? Keep it down?" It seemed like something that was easier said than done, but Tsui wasn't going to question the other Senshi. She was obviously smarter than her, and she knew this area well, so homefield advantage was enough for Tsui to accept the orders. That and she did sort of bring this growing catastrophe upon them... "Alright, can do! Just don't leave me hanging for long!" By this time, the youma had tried to pull itself up, but Tsui was on it, running at it and trying to leap onto its back. One of her boots slipped and she barely grabbed a hold to stop herself from falling off, but she made sure to pound as hard as she could against its neck and head, hoping to keep it dazed and down long enough for Nyx to do... whatever the hell it was she was doing!
