Word down the grape vine was a certain sandwich loving woman was missing an appendage, now hunkered in the Infirmary. How he heard or where wasn't important. What was important was Otto headed there soon after hearing about it. He had sympathy for anyone stuck there. A lot for someone who lost an arm. And even more because it was Rin. Sure, they weren't terribly close, but they'd spent time somewhere as a unit. Bad s**t made you tight, bro.
So. There he was, grumpy faced as ever. In hand he had a bag. A small, faint smirk found his features for a brief moment before it fell again into neutral.
"Hellooo?" Otto called quietly, looking to the dark haired woman with a frown. Yikes.. she really did lose an arm...

Rin suddenly shifted, no longer moving to cover the injury. By now it had occurred to her that everyone knew anyway. There was no hiding anything anymore. No point. She was pale still, but colour was slowly starting to return to her cheeks.
She offered Otto a weary smile. A new visitor come to see the damage?... The thought still counted, though, "Hey Otto, bored again?"

"You know it, ladyface." Otto replied with a short smirk. He strode to Rin's bedside, taking a seat nearby without any kind of consent. What was RIn going to do to stop him? Nothing. That's what.
"I even brought you a present. Made it myself." He held out the paper bag. On it, read 'Rin's Sandwich'.
Otto's smirk was now wide.

Good, Rin was bored too. She turned under the covers to face him better and offer him a curious stare at what he'd brought her. The moment she read it then saw the look on his face, her smile fell flat. She was immediately distrustful. He made her a shitty a** mess on purpose again, didn't he?
Still, she tried to be a good host and reached out to try and accept the offering, "Thank you, Otto... I... guess you already knew then?"

"Yup. Impressive, right?" Otto said with smug confidence. The bag was handed off, and inside was actually a decently made sandwich, made the way she liked it. What was important that was that Rin believed it was a mess. Mission Complete.
Despite the sass and arrogance, Otto was honestly concerned. Losing an arm was something he couldn't fathom having to deal with. So as much as he really wanted to do it now, he'd save the hand puns for later. Or at least try to.
"Yer lookin' pale n s**t. Maybe you should eat something, huh?"

"It certainly is something," Rin gave as good as she got for as long as her mind still functioned. For now though; she was too tired and as a fact, hungry, to argue with him. So she carefully opened the bag to peek inside at the contents... he actually made her a decent sandwich. Wow. It was... somehow touching in all honesty. She was expecting something purposefully terrible again in efforts to mock her. She misjudged you Otto.
She reached inside to grab the sandwich and after a quick critical look took a huge bite causing fritos and mustard to crumble all down the front of her hospital gown. She gave no ******** right now. That s**t was good.

He enjoyed seeing her squirm to some extent. Sure she was sick and gravely injured, but she was showing some small spark of spunk at least. What made it better was her genuine surprise to see a real sandwich inside. Yeah, Otto wasn't mean enough to troll her while she was down.
Her unkempt appearance was now worse as the crumbs and mustard littered her gown. A short snort left the teen's throat at the sight. "They not feedn' yeah here or what? I mean I know the food here is s**t but geez, woman."
A small large amount of pride was leaking through, seeing the sandwich enjoyed to such an extent.

Rin quickly devoured the rest as best she could, which was pretty horrific to watch. Like a shark shredding some helpless prey. Once she was finished and licked clean every finger on her hand and swallowed. THEN it was Otto's turn for attention again.
"They are but... mostly not what I like and hard to eat... by the time I finish some things - I'm ******** hungry again," She admitted while looking down trying to figure out if she should just leave it alone till a tech comes along and decides to clean her up.

It was indeed horrific after a while. And sad. One handed sammich eating. Desperate sammich eating. She was a wreck afterward. It was kind of grody, honestly.
"Yeah, I hear ya." Otto agreed with a shrug. "But uh..." He waved a finger at her gown. "Ya'll wantin' a change of clothes? Or... a vacuum?"

"I'm sure someone will feel bad and decide to clean me up eventually," Rin sighed and slumped back against the pillows. She clearly had a bit more colour now than before.
"I can't wait to get out of this damn bed though, I feel exhausted but restless at the same time. It's frustrating," Rin peered over at Otto curiously, "You know what I mean?"

"Eventually, sure." Otto shrugged. If she wanted to lay there covered in mustard and fritos, than all the power to her.
Otto smiled wryly. A short, almost too quick expression as did most. "Yeah, well enough. It drives ya nuts after a while. Start wishin' they'd let ya fester in your own damn bed." Apparently having all the sick people to take care of in one convenient spot was easier or something. Lazy a** nurses.
"Nothin' helps, either. I tried readin' in here but even that started gettn' me all antsy." Well, this was all positive vibes, weren't they. Otto scratched his cheek, eyes lowered in thought.

"I'm not going to ask you to do it, that's for damn sure," Not that he was offering Rin, poor boy was just telling you you're being gross as nicely as possible.
"YES! EXACTLY! God, I just want back in my room. So much more private. But then the machines and monitoring and making sure I don't kill myself or somethin'," Rin grumbled irritably to noone in particular. "Still, visitors do help. Never know who's going to barge in next," she gave Otto a suspicious looking over, "By the way, just bored and nothing else?"

"Not like I gotta touch ya. I could just as well toss a sheet over you and that'd fix ya." He wasn't opposed to seeing her strip either, but this was not the time nor place.
"Had any other visitors other than me?" Otto asked curiously, leaning back in his chair.
His brows lifted at her suspicious query. "You implyin' I care or something?" Cause he totally doesn't okay?

"Haha, yeah no. I'm not having a sheet tossed over me like some filthy piece of unattractive furniture. You're just going to have to deal with it," Rin made no move to tend to her mess. She didn't care right now, for once in her life she had much bigger concerns on her mind.
"Yeah uh... three," she didn't seem interested in naming them though for some reason. For soooooome reasooon.
"What? No. I just get the feeling you want something is all," at least she was honest. The thought he cared hadn't crossed her mind. She always felt as though she just plainly blended into her surroundings... but it's possible she doesn't. He is here after all.

"Psh, whatevs. Be the sloppy mustard lady." She seemed content. He wasn't going to force her.
"Three?" She seemed a bit squirmy. And what better way to get her mind off of no arm than to harass her about dumb s**t? "Three what?"
"Well, losin' an arm is kind of a big deal. Let's just call it morbid curiosity and call it done." Otto said with a faint shrug. he didn't have to admit he was worried. All was well. Besides, it was also morbid curiosity + worried/caring. No lies here.
