Bio: She was born and raised in Tokyo Japan under the watchful eyes of her severely overprotective parents. Though, she understands why they are so. She was born completely blind and had never even been allowed to leave her own bed unescorted due to the fear she may injure herself. In real life, she feels claustrophobic due to her treatment and found sanctuary in Virtual Games, though, she is still limited. She cannot see, but her hearing picks up on things others can’t. She has even been able to predict obstacles in real life and virtual reality simply by hearing. But in addition, one of her friends developed a latch program to her VR tag that will give her something in nearly any game that will act as her eyes.

Bio: Asuna was born to an upper middle class family. Her father is a district Manager of a well-off chain superstore. Her mother is a Lawyer who gets regular business. Her life was fairly average, school, friends, clubs, the same thing that most of her peers experience. As she aged, she grew to be quite attractive and developed a natural talent for music. She took an interest in guitar at age six and drums by age nine. By age thirteen, she had become unusually skilled with instruments in general. At age fifteen, she participated in a school talent show, performing a song she had written on guitar and sang. She won the talent show and caught the eye and ear of someone she had not expected. As fortune would have it, one of her competitors was related to a Music and Modeling Manager. He had been in attendance to see his nephew and had become interested in the young woman’s talent. After a lengthy conversation and the careful reading of a proposed contract, she joined both the music and teen modeling world. As the years passed, she became famous and loved, though, she never did let it change her. To gain publicity, they had her try gaming. She discovered she loved it. Now, she has her own gaming lounge and spends what free time she has, playing games online.

Bio:
Alexis is a shy girl who was born in America and moved to Japan. She grew up in a hostile enivironment. Her father was an abusive drunk and her mother was a drug addict. All through her early childhood, she was beaten on a regular basis. When eleven, she tried to run away as her father began to beat her. She made it outside before her fater caught up and began to bldgeoun her with a metal lamp. Fortunately, an officer was doing patrols and tackled her father when he saw what was happening. She was rushed to the hospital. After a week of being in a comatose state, she woke up to discover that they had found the scars she'd been hiding, her fater and mother arrested, and that she had been put into foster care. It took a few months for her to even begin to trust her new parents, but she eventually did, to some degree.
Two years later, she moved with her foster family to Japan where she started school and tried to begin again. She suffered from some harassment for being an American and she became somewhat reclusive. For a while, her new family feared she would become suicidal. But, just as she began to develop these thoughts, she discovered online gaming. It became her own personal escape and she gained confidence in cyberspace and developed friendships. As soon as Sword Art Online was released, her parents got it for her, They saw what gaming had done for her and they wholeheartedly approved of it.
