Warden, Sienna’s new Bidoof, had had only a few culture shocks coming off the boat so far. The bird keeper had found him in a bizarre temple on Felicity island - well rather her friend Claramay had caught him, and Sienna did indeed find him. Sienna had caught a different Bidoof at some point during their run through the temple, but once Sienna had found Claramay, they mixed up their pokeballs. And so Sienna had Warden, an ornate guard Bidoof, instead of the shiny recessive one she had caught. She hoped Claramay would like that one just as much! Warden seemed to have no recollection of Claramay, so she assumed that Claramay had no time to get attached.
Anyway, after the flock had settled into the gym, and Warden into his new pond home, Sienna invited him to meet the rest of her team, to maybe have them take him out and get better accustomed to the human world.
“So Warden,” Sienna started, everyone gathered in her room. Frey, her Pidgeot towered over everyone, his daughter Akantha small, calm and waiting. Kipper couldn’t sit still and couldn’t wait to get outside and show the Bidoof around, Enide could care less and was more interested in something shiny she found on the floor. Skylar was perched on Sienna’s head, and didn’t want to talk to any strangers, let alone take them outside, without Sienna! What a thought. Warden was rather off-put by most of the birds. He was on good terms with Frey, who seemed to be somewhat in charge when Sienna wasn’t, but since the other birds had no real interest in him, he shared the same amount.
“I thought it might be a good idea for these guys to show you around the city while I run some errands,” She stroked Skylar’s feathers. Warden nodded, if this was what his master - trainer - wanted of him, then he would oblige and go into the...city with the other birds. He still felt a little awkward, however, that even though he had wing-like markings, he was not a bird. The species difference wasn’t the only thing that bothered him of course, they couldn’t help what they were and he didn’t really have a problem with bird pokemon in particular. He just would’ve rather spent the day with his new mate, Sentry.
