His plans for the evening had included an entirely different sort of beast...specifically he'd been planning on memorizing more of his lines... as part of the production of Beauty and the Beast he was in with Bell... That was, however, before a huge, vibrantly purple rat with yellow teeth the size of his arm, and a body the size of one of those dinky little hybrid cars, tore down the street with an ear piercing screech. It looked to have taken some damage, but not much, and he was as much shaken by the surprising color as by the circumstance.
The first thought was to Henshin, but a flash of black and white fuku indicated there was another Senshi on the scene, and therefore possibly a whole team. He kind of assumed a few more Senshi had taken to patrolling in teams, but it had been a while since they'd all gotten brow beaten, as well as just plain beaten, for fighting by themselves, and truth be told he was just guessing. Likewise it was just a guess if the mystery senshi could handle herself...
Just for the moment he hung back, crumpling up the empty cup of take-away coffee and tossing it into a nearby trash bin. Gaston lines might just have to wait. He'd never forgive himself if the stranger needed help and he walked away.

In truth, Super Sailor Tsui had brought all of this upon herself. She could have not have done her patrols this evening, could have kept her promise to her sister to spend more time in the library or in class studying, could have called for back up before setting out on her patrols. But no. She was a Sailor Senshi of the White Moon Court, before she was a high school student, and she had responsibilities. Responsibilities that couldn't wait for someone else to answer their phone! Which lead Tsui to where she was now, facing off against a monstrous size youma that could only be compared to a rat... which was doubling insulting for Tsui to have to fight it. She looked at the creature and immediately pictured her own pet rat at home, snuggling tenderly in his bedding, as his owner was forced to fight his Chaos-infested cousin. Forced to fight, and not doing as great as a job as she'd like... Unaware of the civilian among them, Tsui barely managed to dodge the claws that scratched at her, and she gave a snicker, "Yeah right... I've dodged quicker things then THAT!" Despite being an owner of a domesticated rat, Tsui had completely forgotten about the tail, and it came down like a whip, slamming against her side and throwing her along the pavement, bouncing a few times before coming to a rolling stop. Thankfully, and unfortunately, Tsui wasn't unconscious, and she rubbed her side, feeling the skin through the torn garments and mentally thankful that it didn't seem to break the skin. She had enough scars already! "Cheap shot! I'll make you pay for that, you stinkin', dirty RAT!" Tsui pulled herself back to her feet and looked ready to charge at it again, still unaware of the person that was watching her. One day she'd learn not to take on giant youma on her own, but today wouldn't be that day! "You don't mess with the Senshi of Tigers!"

...Ok. Yeah. He was going to get in on this. She was clearly proud of her sphere, but this was a rat monster the size of a car. It didn't have to be a tactical genius to be dangerous. "Regulus power, Make up!" ... was still arguably one of the most embarrassing things you could say in earshot of another living being... but that wasn't the point. The point was more the actual act of henshining, leaving the Senshi of Pride standing where Jaimie Leontyne had been before. "Noble Claws of the Lion!" He followed up with an direct attack the second he had henshined up, flinging burning 'claws' at the rat-monster, bright like tracer bullets in a war film. "Where did you find this guy? The Cafeteria at Hillworth?" He called, conversationally to the other senshi. When in doubt, engage in banter.

Today was full of surprises for Tsui, and she was in the middle of her charge when the other Senshi seemingly appeared out of no where and struck at the youma. The youma gave a shriek and stumbled back from the blow, smoke and steam rising from the wounds and sparing the two of them from an immediate retaliation. This gave Tsui the opportunity to look over the one that had tried to take her kill, and she did little to hide her annoyance as she addressed him. "Another big cat in Destiny City?" Tsui looked him over and though she'd never admit it, found herself envious of his butt wings. He had reached Eternal status, something that she herself was striving for, bit by bit. But that wasn't enough to negate the fact that he had interfered, and Tsui was tired of being saved, or 'rescued' when things got bad. She could handle herself- hadn't she done so in the past? "Given the name of your attack, you're the Senshi of Lions, right?" The youma shattered its disgusting yellow teeth and looked at the two Senshi, its blood-red eyes shifting back and forth as though to size them up. Domesticated rats, even wild ones, were quite intelligent, and Tsui was hoping that youma rats wouldn't share that same quality.

"No actually." Regulus responded, shifting his feet into an offensive stance, ready to throw another barrage. "I'm the Senshi of Pride... but Regulus is called the Heart of the Lion..." There was probably some relation, but it was a chicken and the egg (Lion and the Senshi?) question he didn't intend to pursue. "Why don't we trade trivia when we dust Mickey?" He suggested, flashing her a quick, bright grin. "But if we can lure him away from anything with gasoline or...well...anything that can go boom it might be good. Pride's a fiery emotion and can cause a few... explosions. Nice to meet you by the way." He offered. Her body language didn't entirely suggest she felt the same way, but that might well have just been combat.

"No explosions? Gotcha..." Tsui cracked her knuckles, letting him know that she was more than eager to jump into the battle once again, but she was at least polite enough to flash him a nod before charging at the youma. "Yeah, you too... I'll knock it flat on its back and you can attack its underbelly!" It seemed to work against another youma she had fought recently, and Tsui was the type of gal that believed that lightning could strike in the same place twice. She tried to keep in mind to knock the rat -away- from anything that might be flammable, though she had little time to get a good look at the area. Besides cars, what could possibly be flammable? 'That was a fancy move you had... but I think I can top that!'Tsui thought with a grin, readying the white aura in her arms and preparing to lunch forward, aiming for the youma's belly as it moved onto its hind legs and now towered over her even more. It slowed her down for a second, but she wasn't going to back down now, not when Regulus was there watching. "Striking Tiger Flurry!" The white aura formed into claws as Tsui went crashing into the youma, and she was damn lucky to have hit it straight in the gut. It made a hollow sound when it connected, and though it did not penetrate like Regulus' attack had, it was enough to push the youma back and send it crumbling over, right on top of the Senshi of Tigers. "Drat!"

"Drat" probably wasn't the word Regulus would have used if he'd been pinned under a giant purple rat... it probably would have been something else with four letters... or maybe just "OOF!"... but he wasn't the stubborn Senshi of Tigers... making it dangerous to even think about unleashing another burning volley. "Damnit!" He cursed, angry at the situation, but then you couldn't exactly ask Youma to fall in more convenient locations. And even what he was about to do next was risky, but he thought it might well be the only way to get her out from under the thing. "SUMMON THE PRINCE!" It was definitely a different sort of attack than his previous one, a spectral shape of a lion with a burning bright point where it's heart would be, that rushed both the Rat (and by happenstance the pinned Senshi of Tigers) in a rush of heat and force. Being largely pinned under the Youma, Tsui, he hoped would only suffer through the desert like blast of heat, but the force of the spectral attack was intended to try and push the youma back off of her, opening it to safer attacks. Quote: Summon the Prince:: Regulus summons an spectral lion, largely translucent and flickering with ghostly fire, with it's brightest point being the dazzlingly bright light at the heart of the creature. The lion lunges to attack the senshi's foes, though it's strike is not that of a corporeal lion, and instead strikes as a powerful wave of heat and force, intended to drive an foe back or bring them to their knees in parody of surrender. The attack is not un-dodgeable, and a strong enough opponent is likely be able to stand their ground.

This wasn't how Tsui was planning to die, not that she planned on dying ever, and now was the time that she should have swallowed her pride and ask for assistance. Thankfully her new friend seemed keen on not even waiting for her to ask, and his shout made her brace herself for the attack. A blast of heat hit her face, shoulders and arms, all the parts that weren't being crushed by the youma, and she slammed her eyes shut when it became almost unbearable. It was nothing compared to what the youma felt, however, and no matter how big it was, it could not combat the wave of heat and the force behind it. It gave a pained shriek and fell backwards entirely, freeing Tsui from its weight and slamming its back against the pavement, leaving his underbelly completely exposed. Tsui tried to shake off the heat, though it was MUCH better than being crushed to death, Tsui had to admit. She pulled herself to her feet and looked back at the youma, seeing the opening and considering charging at it again. The thought of being crushed and then saved, however, had humbled her somewhat, and she called back to Regulus. "Hey... maybe we should try combining our attacks to dust this thing?" Offering to work together with another Senshi? It was a little damaging to her pride, but considering how close she could have been killed, she was willing to take the blow for now.

He wanted to ask if she was ok, but that would be better waiting until the Youma was dusted... and secondarily the massive attack had taken a bit more out of him than he cared to admit. The heat of the blast even left him feeling slightly more aware of the night chill in the wake of heat more at home on his desert like homeworld. "Yeah..." He agreed, nodding as he tried to pull himself together again. "Yeah that's our best bet I think. Do you have the juice to pin it again? I can do a few more rounds with claws but... can't do that last one again." Not without passing out in the street and that wouldn't do anyone any good. He flashed her an encouraging grin. It wasn't going to be an easy fight, this youma was tougher than some fancier one's he'd seen, but he still thought they could beat it. They were both tough offensive senshi, and that would give them the upper edge he thought they needed.

"Yeah, I think I got one more in me..." Tsui said, crackling her fingers once more and this time, she was going to go in with a plan (and hopefully, not get squashed this time). She rushed at the youma and jumped onto a trashcan, using that as leverage to propel herself into the air. She had enough in her to do her attack one more time, so she couldn't afford to miss. White aura had once again appeared in her fists and arms, and she waited until she was literally on top of the exposed stomach before unleashing her attack. "Striking Tiger Flurry!" There was no where for the youma to go, and Tsui came lunging downward, slamming against its stomach and pinning the youma in place. It gave a breathless squeal, as Tsui shouted to the other Senshi. "Got it! NOW!"

"Noble Claws of the Lion!" He sent the second attack right on the heels of hers, along with a silent prayer that none of it miss the youma and hit her. He'd taken some time to refresh his aim, but it was always a risk with a ranged attack. He had enough juice for one more round, but he hoped this would do it.

His aim was true, and through their combined efforts, the youma gave one last, garbled moan before it dissipated into dust. Tsui tried jumped back and she kicked the remains of it off her boots. She was never the type to preen or care for her appearance, but she -really- liked these boots, and the stench of dead youma always made Micah fussy. She looked to the other Senshi, trying to appear strong and unwavering on the outside, though on the inside, she felt like jello. "Thanks for not hitting me with that last one... I guess that's the downside to my power is that I have to be up close and personal." Tsui gave a shrug, a mistake as it almost caused her to lean and topple over. Thankfully the trashcan was there, and she pretended to lean on it to look cool, not simply because she might have needed a momentary crutch. "But that's how I roll, I guess!"

"I'm glad I didn't. It's... uh... harder than I'd like to admit to aim those things. It's like holding pencils between your fingers and then trying to throw them at something." Apparently even at Eternal level,'jello' happened, because he let out a long sigh and folded over for a moment, hands on his knees,as though someone had let part of the air out of him. "Wow. Definitely not doing that big one again tonight. Are you ok? I mean really ok?" He straightened again and ran his fingers through his hair, toustling it wildly in the process, but seemed to be catching his breath after the magical exertion. "And hey, I didn't blow something up this time. My second or third night out... like... ever... I blew up a car. I wish I was kidding. Well... half of a car. A youma had already eaten part of it so there was gas everywhere. And apparently the Youma itself had some kind of explosive qualities because it blew up too. It was GROSS." "Sorry, not trying to bore you with 'back in the day' stories, I promise I won't start waving a cane and telling kids to get off my lawn." He joked. "I caught that you were the Senshi of Tigers but what should I call you?"

"Oh, I'm sorry! I can't believe I forgot such a simple step..." Tsui brought a hand to her forehead, unable to fight the embarrassed feeling within her and how it may have shown on the reddening of her cheeks. She recovered quickly enough, though, puffing her chest out and pointing to herself, as she formally introduced herself to her new ally. "I'm Super Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers and general butt kicker of the bad guys." It was said with a lot more confidence than what she had been carrying earlier in the night; perhaps her ordeal with Regulus and the giant, crushing youma was enough to revitalize her spirits from recent ordeals. It certainly took a lot off her mind! Then again, she was nothing more than a simple fighter, not a thinker. Leave the thinking and the strategy to the smarter, more patient folks. Tsui felt much better that way... She tried not to dwell on it, and it was all too easy to push those troubling thoughts to the side when she thought about his story. He blew up a car? She tried to think of anything she had done that was even remotely as interesting, but her mind drew a blank. Explosions had a way to wiping your slate clean... "You blew up a car? That's... that's freakin' awesome! There wasn't anyone inside of it, right?" It was a silly question, but Tsui felt the need to ask anyway. When he apologized, she immediately objected, and one had to be deaf not to see the intrigue in her golden eyes as she peered up at him. "No, no, go ahead! You're an eternal, right, so you must have a lot of stories and advise that I could learn from!" A farfetched notion, considering her stubborn charge, but Tsui was all ears. Regulus had earned her respect, and it was something that Tsui honored, more than her own pride at times. One simply needed to penetrate it first...

"No no, it was empty, someone must have left it parked for the night and the youma just started eating it, for whatever reason. The uh... the fire on the claws... it hit the gas fumes and WOOMP!" He threw a hand up in a gesture to indicate the burst of flame from the cloud of gas fumes."There it went. I'm still trying to picture what you'd tell an insurance company about that. Oh and then the monster blew up too and splatted chunks all over us before it turned to dust." He shrugged slightly. "I've been through... a share of battles." He admitted. "I was here for some of the first awakenings a few years ago. It's been... it's been interesting.Interesting in an 'I've been in the hospital a couple times because of it' kind of way."
