Sentry vs. Warden. Bidoof beau battle! [FIN]

Roll a Seven: Forest Field: Thick trees, some small while others greatly exceed double your own height, sprout at random places throughout the field. Giant roots provide easy excuses for pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG and GRASS type attacks.This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

Lyle and Sienna figured it would be a good idea to have their Bidoofs fight a practice battle. So he brought Sentry to the stadium, explaining how battling with a trainer worked. As he entered he was telling her about the stadium itself.

"...The field can change to be one of several different ones. We often set it to a random choice, to make things interesting," Lyle was telling her. He looked across the field and noted, "We got the Forest this time. Watch out for the trees and the roots as you fight." From his perch on Lyle's hat, Spinel added, <"Good luck!">

Sentry nodded at the two and trotted out onto the field to await her opponent.

Sienna walked to her trainer's box with Warden at her side. The bidoof was becoming quickly accustomed to the human world, but had not had an official, though practice, battle in the human world just yet. What better way to introduce him to the human world of battling than against his new partner, Sentry?

"Alright so we've got the grass field today! It can change though, and it's usually random. Use the terrain to your advantage though sometimes it may be one unfamiliar to you, don't be deterred by it!" The trainer tried to offer as much advice as she could but quickly ran out. "Well here you go, I'll yell suggestions sometimes, but you'll probably mostly just be able to do whatever you want. Good luck!" She finished as she sent Warden waddling down into the forest.

Warden took his place opposite Sentry and nodded to her. "" He smiled slightly.

She smiled back at him. <"Likewise. I wouldn't want to think you're going soft,"> she said. She shifted her feet eagerly, tensing her muscles in preparation for the upcoming battle.

"" He said and unleashed strength upon his mate. A part of him said he shouldn't ever do that, but there was no way he could really hurt her. The humans had near-magical medicine, plus she could pack a punch just as well as he could.

Sentry was nearly knocked over by the attack, but she managed to keep her footing. <"Oh, is that all you've got? Perhaps you've gone soft after all,"> she said teasingly. She yawned quite pointedly at him.

Sentry blinked at his yawn, then gave a more mundane yawn herself. She muttered, <"I could beat you with my eyes closed..."> and slumped into the soft grass. She curled up a little as she began to snore.

Sentry was adorable asleep, and Warden naturally felt bad that he had actually put her to sleep, and now would attack her while she slept. This was no time to be smitten though, they agreed they wouldn't go easy on each other...He unleashed another Superpower attack.

Sentry shifted in her sleep, scrunching up against the attack and fluffing her fur out. She muttered unintelligibly before snoring again.

Sentry stirred and snorted at the attack, muttering further. But she didn't wake yet. Instead she yawned once more and fell still, resuming her snoring.

It seemed to have worked, or the Snore floated off in another direction. It seemed like she would wake up soon. Should he try and get her to stay asleep? No, that wouldn't be much fun, he already felt bad attacking while she couldn't do much about it. He shoved her once again.
