The day was hot, and Yafeu was bored. He had ventured away from his pride in hopes to find something more exciting than sand. Of course, leaving his pride he found more sand. How annoying. He huffed as he moved about, kicking up some sand and letting it slowly settle behind him as he walked. The sun was hot, and was making him feel rather thirsty, though he knew he wouldn't find water for a while. He didn't mind too much, he wasn't that thirsty, his brain was just playing tricks on him.
He had ventured out a lot of times from his pride, but never had he gone as far as he planned to do today. He wanted to get lost. What an adventure that would be. Though he'd miss his twin, and his other siblings, but sometimes he felt he needed to just leave. Everyone else seemed to be leaving, why couldn't he? He loved his family, but felt a need to pull away.
He hadn't been paying attention where he was going, and misjudged a step in the sand, ending up toppling down a hill. As he rolled to a stop, he started to cough up the sand that happened to fly into his mouth while he was attempting to say his surprise. "Blah.... sand" He said as he continued to try to spit out the bits of sedimentary rock.

 Trying to keep her paws off the hot sand,Ni'ami was trying to make it through the desert. There was barley any shade at all. It was all sand and nothing else.It made Ni kind of disappointed that she decided to come through it.Growling,Ni's small little body tried jumping through the large mountains of sand.This certainly wasn't something she was used to at all."Why...Did you decide to come through here Ni!" She complained to herself as she kept trailing through. Ni'ami didn't know what she was headed for,she just wanted to travel.Maybe find something that would keep her company or something that would terrorize her.Either would've been find since nothing was really excited in her short little life. She had shown up one day under some small rocks then started her journey. Her black tail tried to carry her through while her tail just kept tagging behind making it even harder to make it.The weight of it made it a little bit harder and made her feel a bit thirsty.But who knows when she'd make it to any type of water,all she would really see was a mirage.Tricking her,making her think that there was nice fresh fruit trees and water in places that there really wasn't.

Yafeu, on the other hand, seemed go about the sand almost as if he weighed nothing at all. His body was slim, and light and he had lived in the open sand area for all his life. He didn't realize that other's might not be so adapt to this living condition until he noticed the lioness in the distance. Of course, at first, he didn't think anything of it. She was white, and looked like some big rock, but as he got closer, she seemed to move as well... Slowly, however.
He raised a brow as he moved towards her. His body almost matched the sand beneath his paws, and he realized that she probably couldn't see him as well as he her. "Hello!" He called out with a kind voice. Despite his cub years, Yafeu had grown into a fine nice lion. Him and his sister use to be little devils, as they were called. He had grown since then.
He liked to hope his sister had too. "Are you okay?" He asked as he got closer, now noting that she also had black and orange upon her. He wasn't sure why he didn't notice the black before, but his eyes weren't the greatest when it came to details. All he had seen, when he first saw her, was a big white blur. Perhaps it was just the heat?
"Can I help you?" He finally asked. He figured she needed more help than he could give, but he could at least try. She looked in need of something. Food, water... he wasn't sure.

Ni'ami slowly picked up her paws and tried making her way through the thick sand.She didn't hear the other calling out for her.Everything she heard was the slight breeze that gathered through her ears.Ni was out of water and food,she had been going for days.Hell she couldn't even remember the last time she had either.It would have been yesterday or even a month or so.Ever since she hit the desert everything seemed to turn into a huge blur and come in all together.Only seeing light tan and semi blue sky most of the day and the freezing dark times of the night.The night is what she hated most,it was way too cold for her and her small self. Maybe coming her wasn't so great after all.She had mad a mistake for coming to these lands,she should've stayed in one of the rouge grass lands.
As the male got closer,Ni started hearing some sort of voice.What was it?She couldn't tell,all she felt was sand in her eyes and a terrible case of cotton mouth. Hoping she wasn't in any danger,her weak body fell from under her and laid in the hot sand.Her stomach burned but there wasn't anyway for her to lift herself up at this point. "Water..." Calling out to the voice that kept getting closer and more clearer."Water....Food..."She needed both. Ni'ami could feel herself growing weaker and weaker as her eyes drooped almost closed.She hoped that the other coming towards her wouldn't cause her any harm. "Help...please.." [ Lady Kiya ] Ooooooo! Another long post 8D I'm on a roll.

Yafeu didn't like the look of this as he was now close enough to touch her. She didn't seem to really notice him much, or at least from the way she was acting. He didn't want to have to carry her anywhere, but he suppose if he had to he would. "Hey... You were going the wrong way." He told her straight up. She would definitely die if he just let her stay like this.
He walked in front of her and started to point in the direction they should go. "Do you need help walking?" He asked. Hoping that she'd understand him, and hoping that she didn't need help. He wasn't the biggest lion, he was quite skinny, after all. It was mostly what happened when living out here. One's body would grow slender to be easier to keep cool, at least that's what he figured.
"I'm Yafeu." He wanted to start some type of conversation, maybe in hopes to bring her back from whatever she was going through. One thing was for sure, she didn't know how to walk in the sand, meaning she wasn't from around here. He pondered for a moment as he watched her. She looked Dehydrated, and possibly a little skinny, but he wasn't a healer, so he wasn't for sure on those.
