Getting out was beginning to get harder and harder. Having one letter sent home about a failed test and taking one small nap in class seemed to be grounds for an explosive father; was it really that abnormal? Not like she was ever really that great at school... though the nap was a little unusual.

But Jasper was at the station this week which meant slipping past her mother and brother was a breeze - even after the now firmer implemented homework checks. And even better after transforming, as her little legs were able to carry her even further and faster.

Sailor Hygiea had only made it so far into her patrol, or walk, or hope to run into something bad to beat it up, when she felt the older senshi gaining some ground and getting closer. The feeling stopped her in her tracks, then spun her on her heels to face whoever was coming. The little senshi held up her arms, poised and ready to defend herself just in case her senses were being mean to her and deceiving her.

The blonde seemed like a normal senshi though, white uniform and good feelings. Also rather pretty. Her frown dropped, forming into a large smile. "Hi!" She greeted, skipping a step forward, "I'm Super Sailor Hygiea! Would you like a cheez-it?" And promptly held her ziplock bag out with the cracker snack.

Okay, so far they had avoided the usual annoying responses about her age, there was a voice of concern but totally not in the demeaning way. Points to Gryffindor! "Tian.. guan is a little but of a mouthful yeah but I think a few of the others have you beat in weird pronunciations and stuff."

"And the Negaverse Agents have really stupid names." The little senshi added with a grin, taking a few Cheez-its in hand to munch on. She held the bag in a way that was still a means to offer them to Tian, but still make them expressible to herself.

"It's gotten a little tricky, but I can usually manage to go on patrols well enough. I was hoping to meet up with a teammate but they all seem busy," Hygiea explained with a shrug, "so, I'll probably go home soon and stuff so my mom doesn't get too mad for me being out too long and such."

"There are a bunch of chibi my age though, and a few of them with buttwings too!" Had to be proud of Hug-Bell. And soon she'd have some herself! then maybe she could finally take down some bad guys in a much cooler fashion. The thought excited her.

"Don't you guys usually have to sneak out too? I mean, you guys also have parents and siblings and stuff, right?" She could only think of a few senshi she knew off hand who lived in the dorms at their schools, but like Iris did, Eunomia... Irene, Victoria.. did Metis?

She let the two names roll of her tongue a few times until she came to her conclusion, "yeah, I think Tian Guan sounds a lot prettier," even though she was still mangling the name up a bit.

Though, sounded nicer to talk about than those stupid people on the Chaos side. Hygiea made a face at the mention of them. "They're not, and that's why you need to beat them right back," the little girl said so matter-of-factly. True, she still hadn't exactly beaten one up, but it was the thought that counted - there had been a few that she had successfully tackled after all. "Need to get some sense knocked into them!" Hygiea stood before the blonde, so sure of her idea, with hands on her hips and a proud smile.

Which faltered a tiny bit at the mention of a dog, but mostly because she wanted to munch on a few more crackers. "Priss, my awesome cat, doesn't seem to notice all too much." She explained between crackers, "but hey, can't rat me out, right?" Not like a whiny dog would. Dodger barked, but he always barked so no one bothered to see why as much these days.

"Trying to get past an animal seems like it would be harder than trying to get past people though, since they just react sometimes... like my dog does." She noted, thinking about it a little herself. "My dog barks at rain..."

Advice. Hygiea pushed her lips together in thought over the matter, it was a nice change of pace from being scoffed at for being so young but it was really weird to the younger senshi to be asked about words of wisdom from someone older. True, she had been in the game for a year now but it was still an odd thing to hear from an older person. The orange senshi hummed and tapped her chin with her free hand.

"Well, my team has a rule to never fight alone... so that seems like some good advice to start with," She replied finally, feeling it was touching on Tian's initial invitation as well. "It's also just fun to fight together and such, I'm always down for a fight." Hygiea flashed the blonde a cheeky grin with that remark as she closed her little ziplock bag. It was getting distracting and she needed to think of some cool advice.

"I don't really know the specifics about upgrading and stuff, but I think if you fight and train enough then the guardian cats will feel you're ready, like ********* did with me." That was an awesome day, "the guardian cats are amazing so listen to them when you get a chance, they know loads of things!"

If there was anything Hygiea could praise more, they would be the cats - even the grumpy ones ... and even the ones who had been swayed by Chaos like Dahlia. And well, cats in general and she was in the right mind to go on with a speech about how the blonde should TOTALLY get a cat when she suddenly remembered something.

"Oh yeah!" She exclaimed, waving her free hand in the air to summon her phone from pocket space. "I almost forgot," she said, unlocking the orange device with a few swipes and taps. A few more taps and Hygiea held the phone up at Tian and clicked.

"The phones are an awesome way to track each other and call each other for help and stuff." The orange clad senshi explained, turning it around so the other senshi could see her picture and name on the screen, "See?"

This conversation was already proving more and more to be how Hygiea preferred these encounters to go. Like she was treated on equal ground, and actually a little in esteem for what she knew - even though it wasn't as much as she should at this stage. But, it was making her feel rather awesome for helping yet another older senshi out. This must be how Hug-Bell felt a lot of times. Awesome.

"Most of the first youma I encountered, I was in big groups so like.. we got to tag team like crazy," Hygiea explained enthusiastically as she held onto her phone, "it was like so many people going at once but it was so cool seeing everyone working together" she beamed, "well, for once." Not like all those meetings where everyone fought and were stupid.

It was nice when they were working together, or at least getting along. Even in simple conversations like the one the two of them were having now. Normally, the little senshi didn't like talking too much, being more of a doer, but Tian wasn't a bad guy, so it was totally fine. "I think I figured it out by accident," she giggled, "one day, it just kind of worked, you know? So, maybe you just kind of have to think about the phone and it appears?" There was a lot that the little senshi wasn't entirely sure of the exact process, but to her if one way worked then why not keep going with it? Even the idea. Tian's little pouch wasn't too bad either; it was pretty and looked handy, and maybe not just for phones either.

"I like it," she admitted. "And it would be awesome to hang out more and stuff!" It was always more fun to go with others, "did you wanna try going on patrol now or maybe some other time?" She was fine either way, even though it was honestly getting a bit later.

Sailor Hygiea watched with an amused grin as Tian worked the magic of their senshi phones, trying to place it back to the pocket of magical space that it disappeared to to only call it back with a whole slew of entertaining phrases. "See? You're totally getting it!" She giggled. The older senshi's use of a pouch was pretty clever, she had to admit, but nothing beat being able to do a bunch more magical type of things.

At the mention of school, her smile fell into something akin to a scowl, "Oh yeah.. school." So annoying. The little senshi rolled her eyes at the though as she let out a disappointed sigh, "I should be heading back too. My dad hasn't been too happy about stuff lately and stuff." It never used to be a problem, but now her dad seemed to be getting a lot more on her case; it probably didn't help that a note had been sent home a few days ago.

"But I'm totally TOTALLY up for patrolling!" Hygiea added in, trying to bring her spirits back up, "just give me a ring!" Her head bobbled as she nodded with enthusiasm. And if a fight was to catch up with them, even better! So many of her patrols lately were boring and uneventual anyways - and she hadn't seen Dahlia in like forever, it seemed.
