Ah, Destiny City, prime vacation spot for tourists with all of its randomly placed lakes. Pristine, beautiful, breath-taking. Even in the cold of Autumn and Winter this still held true. And it was at one of these lakes where Sailor Aurora, Dark Mirror Senshi of Romance, found herself, just staring out from one point to the vast empty space of the other. The park, she found, crawled with White Moon senshi and knights lately. All she really wanted was some peace to think about things. People wanting to kill her didn't exactly help in that regard. So she sat on a tree branch, kicking a leg idly with one arm wrapped around the tree trunk like a stable lover. The sun started its descent below the horizon, blessing the sky with hues of orange and red. Soon she'd start hunting for energy once night overtook it. But for now... For now this felt absolutely wonderful.

Caelian was also out and about for a little bit of rest and relaxation tonight…she had just wanted some nice time to breathe, but…of course. Chaos never gook a day of rest, so why would she be able to? It was almost a stupid idea. She should have known better after all, even at a place as beautiful of this, there was a poisonous aura nearby. Some agent of chaos out and about, causing a mess of destruction and terror no doubt.
She made her way slowly over to where the aura was coming from, and looked around, scowling. Where was it coming from? The Squire’s eyes darted around the clearing and finally she looked upwards, spotting Aurora in the tree.
Aww…she didn’t look so bad…but still. Still she felt bad. She was wearing the dark colors of one who was with chaos as well…so…even if she looked rather pretty…she was still on the wrong side of the war. The wrong side of the tracks. “And what are you up to on this fine evening?” Her voice ran out, breaking the silence of the night. It sounded loud even to herself, and she gave a small jump, before shaking her head at the stupidity of it.
Well, nothing to do but see what happened.

There would never be a day or night of rest. Order always seemed to find her, no matter if she wanted it to find her or not. She didn't see the lady at first, though from her aura she could tell that she was stronger than her. Rarely did the newbies like her come across Aurora. It was (nearly) allllways the stronger ones. "Ahahaha... I'm.. watching the sunset. It's really pretty from up here. Want to watch?" She'd met nice people from the opposite side. It wouldn't be Aurora if she didn't offer a happy smile to her would-be attackers. The girl glanced about and landed on the lady below her. "Omigosh," she breathed. "That's a really pretty outfit."

Caelian blinked up at the girl and gave her a look. An offer to watch the sunset? Well…that was different. Sure there had been a few people who just wanted to talk, but it was always a rarity to find someone like that. “Are you just pulling my chain, or do you honestly want to watch the sunset?” The Venus Squire folded her arms over her chest, holding tight to her powder puff and giving a little scowl.
She paused, giving the smallest of smiles at the compliment. “I was thinking the same thing about your outfit. But…come down here. If we’re going to watch the sunset, I think that you should come down and be on level ground with me. Just in case you do try something.”
The woman didn’t really want there to be any trouble, but sometimes it really couldn’t be helped…and even though this girl seemed very friendly, and rather polite…well. She could still very easily be trouble. It never did hurt to be cautious…especially in a war.

"Ahahaha. I'm not pulling your chain." Of course the lady didn't trust her. Sigh. She gave one last longing look at the water before looking back down at the incredibly pink lady again. It was so much better to watch up high. BUT. It still looked lovely no matter how you looked at it! "Coming!" And with that warning, Aurora dropped to the ground with an 'oof'. She made no move to attack, and appeared mostly relaxed. Mostly. The lady might attack her anyway and she just had to be ready to defend herself. "Oh gosh so pink.."

Caelian did seem surprised when the girl actually came down from the tree. Well…that was unexpected. She hesitated, then held out a hand. “My name is Caelian, Squire of Venus…and yeah. It is a lot of pink, isn’t it?” Chancing a smile, Caelian glanced back at the sun. “Your hair is rather pink as well, but it’s very pretty.” This is how it should be. People getting along, a nice sense…of ease. A level of trust that normally wasn’t…
She paused, the smile dropping from her face. There was another chaos aura nearby, a stronger one and it felt like it was moving closer. Was…had this been a trap? The Squire narrowed her eyes and drew her hand away. “Well. Do you think I’m just so namby pamby type of person, hm? Is that it? You think you can just…get rid of a Squire by lowering my defenses?”
She hadn’t forgotten that one member of Chaos…the one with the wicked temper. Hadn’t she looked like this girl in a way? With the transparencies…like Remarque. Dark Mirror Senshi…people who really could not be trusted.
Well, she wasn’t going to let things turn out like they had last time, no way. She wasn’t going to be caught like this. She balled the hand that was holding her powder puff into a fist and brought it to meet Aurora’s chest. She wasn’t going to be caught unawares again. She wasn’t going to let that happen.

Huh... what... One moment, Aurora had been holding out her hand and smiling as nice as ever to the equally nice and equally pink magical girl. The next she'd felt another aura of Chaos and a fist connecting to her chest. And that fist HURT. "W--" To say that she had been caught unaware was the UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR. Aurora staggered backward, flailing her arms to try to regain her balance so that she wouldn't fall into the drink. The big lake drink. "Wait, please!" Agh agh agh what was going on what even--

Caelian still felt that other chaos aura moving closer an she wasn’t going to lie, she was a bit scared now. “Wait? Why would I wait? You’ve tricked me, there’s someone else coming—I’m not just going to sit here and let you both beat me to a pulp. I don’t have the time for that.” The Squire gave a great shove, pushing hard against Aurora…though, well. She hadn’t really even thought of the lake being right behind her.
She just wanted to shove the girl over and get out of there before the whole pincer movement started. She had been on the receiving end of a beating before…and she wasn’t going to just sit idly by and let that happen again.
After she gave Aurora the shove, she turned to go, taking a few steps, then pausing. Wait…the other chaotic aura was…was moving away from them now? Hadn’t this been…some cruel trick…?” She hesitated, glancing back at the Dark Mirror Senshi, frowning.
Well if this hadn’t been a trap…then this was going to be one of the most embarrassing things she had ever done.

"Wah wah wah wah!" Aurora flailed her arms even more, trying desperately to keep her footing and not fall. "But I--!" One hand swung out towards the senshi's face. And it was instinct. It HAD to be instinct, in order to lighten the knight's mood. Whatever it was, she blew a kiss towards the knight's direction and activated her magic. "Aurora Lovelove Ensnare BWAAAAH!" SPLASH. Luckily it was the shallow end. Aurora sat there waist-deep in water, dazed and drenched. Did... did that just happen..?

Caelian had turned around just in time to watch the poor girl use her hands like a useless windmill, just in time to watch her fall back into the water…and, of course, just in time to get hit in the face by some good old senshi magic.
At once, the world felt…perfect. Everything was perfect, the sunset was just beautiful, the weather was so absolutely beautiful and perfect! A slow, rather stupid smile slid its way over the Squire’s face and she let out a giggle that sounded as though it should come from a teenager, not from a woman whose daughter was very nearly a teenager.
After a few seconds of giggling, the rosy glow on the world seemed to fade just slightly and she blinked, shaking her head. She had been standing there like an idiot…well. This was a great way to present herself. With a sigh, she walked to the edge of the lake and held out a hand. “I’m…sorry about that…There was…there was just another, stronger aura of chaos nearby, and I thought you had been tricking me.” She said all this as calmly as possible, but a moment later, another euphoric giggle slipped past her lips and she sighed.
“Just what did you do to me with that…attack? Of yours.”

Aurora stared up at her, wide-eyed as the knight went through all sorts of happy emotions and cute little giggles. But that didn't stop her from taking the knight's hand. "Ah... sorry! It just sorta, came out! That's my attack. You know, it just makes people feel good. I guess, like you're in love." She laughed nervously. "I'm the senshi of romance, after all." Omigosh, her giggle was just so cute. That senshi of romance couldn't help but blush. "Uh, I promise that I wasn't trying to trick you. Though.." She sighed. "It's just my luck lately that something like that would happen."

“Senshi of romance, hm? It’s kind of sad that you’ve been tainted by chaos…but I don’t know. I am terribly sorry for pushing you. And I was thinking that you were one of the nicest chaos aligned people that I’ve met thus far…but..”
The squire sighed, scratching the back of her head, rather awkwardly. “I suppose it was nice to meet you then, Senshi of Romance…My name is Caelian. I’m a Squire of Venus…so, I guess. Romance and…a knight of love and beauty, hm?” She gave a little smile, then hesitated. “That water must have been very cold. You should get home before you end up getting sick. With the sun gone, you know the temperature’s just going to plummet, that’s how it’s been for the past few days, after all.”
Plus, it would make sure that the girl wouldn’t be doing anything bad tonight, and…maybe that would mean that she could go home to have a bit of a rest too…even if she didn’t single handedly kill a youma tonight, she still ended up getting an agent of chaos off the street…that had to count for something.

"But...?" Aurora tilted her head at the comment. "Ah.. Nice to meet you, Caelian!" She looked over her shoulder at the water. Caelian, where had she heard that name before. "Yeah, ahahaha, you're right. It's coooold... I guess I should get home..." The girl rubbed at her arms and shivered. "And.. uhm.. if I might .. be honest... I agree, it is kinda sad.." That's the first she'd ever admitted it. To anyone besides herself. She sighed and turned to go, but suddenly stopped. "Oh! I met Aventine! She wants to talk to you~ She's doing okay but has a looot of questions yet, but she doesn't want to sound like she's a total newbie so go easy on her okay? Have a good night, Cael~"

Caelian gave a little wave, then smiled, nodding. Well…if the girl was sorry that she ended up on the wrong side of the war…but there really wasn’t anything that she could do about it…at least…maybe she could reach out to her, see her some time again and maybe find a way to make some sort of a truce.
Of course, she could just be putting too much hope into the situation.
The squire blinked. Aventine was looking for her? Well…she’d have to get in contact with the age sometime soon. “Be safe,” She said softly, before leaving. Maybe a nice bubble bath would make her feel better…Bubble baths always made things feel better.
Hopefully Aurora would think of that too, she deserved to feel better as well, regardless of what side of the war she was on.
