User ImageDays bled together. One leading to another and another. The sun rose and fell and days seemed to fly by with relative ease. So much that for the young at heart the days could grow boring and dull. Butterflies flew through the air as if fleeing from some unknown cause. Something called them away from the area of land, and it certainly wasn't their mother. The sun was set high in the sky making it one of the warmest hours of the day. The sky was clear so no clouds blocked the sun. The only thing blocking it today would be the canopy of the trees over head.

Today was a forest day. D'vak had grown tired of exploring the small valley in surrounded by trees that he lived in with his mother. It was time to explore further. He was still small not very long out of the basket but as energetic as ever. Curious as a button too. His tail flicked as he trotted along kicking his hooves high excitement brimming to the top as he scurried along. Today was going to be a great day indeed. His mother told him he would meet his father when the weather turned cool and so he had plenty of time to learn stuff so he could impress his nomad father when he returned. He was determined to know so much!

One foot in front of the other, his little hooves clipped and chipped on rocks as he hurried through the well worn paths of the forest. He had gone nearly fifty million trots away from home so he knew he would have to stray from the well worn path. The untraveled path held much more adventure and he well knew it.
