Lenore entered the stadium, Mephistopheles at her side. The duskull floated down to the rocky field below.

Alexa walked into the stadium and covered her face before releasing Stribog. Her bird pokemon flew around with some difficulty before finding the ghost.

Getting close to Mephistopheles he didn't bother to say anything other than a hello. He then slashed out with his wings with a force that could shatter one of the many rocks in the field.

Mephistopheles bowed as the wings passed through him harmlessly, as he had phased out. Phasing back in, he sent a burst of ice at the altaria.

Stribog tried to use a rock as some cover but was too slow at getting behind it. The ice formed on his back and he left it for now. He flew up close to Mephistopheles and slashed out with his claws.

Mephistopheles was blown back, and he sent a burst of ice as he flew.

Stribog was hit hard by the ice and crashed into a rock. The ice broke off but it took him a moment to get back on his feet so to speak. Once he was able to he took off and flew at Mephistopheles ready to slash again.

Also I was reading a japanese web novel and they mentioned Mephistopheles..... and your Meph popped into my head. XD ))

Stribog was in the process of evading when a rock pillar appeared out of nowhere (actually he didn't see it due to the sandstorm) and he had to quickly move away from it. He ended up in the path of the ice and felt it freeze to one of his wings. He flew at Mephistopheles and slashed with his claws once more.

Stribog had come so close to victory this time. So close that he dropped his guard and got hit with the ice attack. He crash landed on the ground and was quickly recalled. Alexa waved to Lenore and left.
