Scattered around the teenager’s room are hundreds of sketches depicting nothing more than clothes. Dresses from around prom season hide under the desk while seasonal skirts and tops cover her desk. Pinned on Delilah’s wall are her favorites. Themes of color, vivid patterns, and accents of black seem to have become her favorite. Yet she stays away from fur. It brings up too many problems in her mind and people get too animated when they see it.
Piano
Since she was five, Delilah’s mother had the little girl’s fingers moving over the ivories creating ‘beautiful music’. The family’s grand piano has become Delilah’s personal expression allowing her un-judged creativity within the family walls. She would have to say that Frederic Chopin is her favorite composer.
Collecting Cameos
As old as some might be, the cameo is Delilah’s favorite item to collect. The beautiful engravings hold her attention for hours as her family found out when visiting Italy. She adores the pieces she can wear as pendants though most of the pieces she wears as jewelry are costume. The real pieces she keeps in a locked box atop her dresser.

Self-Confident
If there was one thing Deliah’s parents didn’t miss when raising their daughter it was instilling confidence within her being. The girl is fully aware of what she is capable of and trusts in her own talents to the fullest. It allows her to know when she should keep her mouth shut and when she should step in and offer assistance to others. Deliah’s confident nature means that she presents herself to the best of her abilities. With a head looking forward to her future, eyes alive with the possibilities, and a smile she hopes can spread to others, it is rather difficult to tell this little lady that she does not give off an aura of strength.
Hard-Working
People can say that Deliah is many things but lazy isn’t one of them. Dedication to her work and interest is rather higher than normal. She is very good at tuning extra things out and becoming focused on one thing at a time until it is complete. The downside is that she doesn’t multi-task well so if two projects need to be done around the same time, someone better express which is more important because otherwise, she will just pick the one that interests her the most.
Calming
Be it that she has confidence in herself or just the fact she offers a shoulder to cry on, Deliah tends to be a calming presence during troubled times. On a normal day she keeps a rather even temper and offers a soft smile to even those in the hallways and streets. Deliah is one to also offer her shoulder for others to cry on. With a soft word and the appearance that she always has herself together, Deliah becomes the confidant for her friends and young family members.
Flaws:
Vain
Her appearance is the one thing Deliah constantly puts time into. In the morning, she gets up at least an hour before leaving to make sure her hair is done well and her make-up is flawless. Needless to say that her mother has to roll her eyes at the fact her sixteen year old daughter is covering herself in powder and color. Deliah also has the nastly little habit that whenever she passes something large enough to see her reflection (a mirror, a tinted glass window, a spoon) she has to stop and look at herself for a moment. The problem is if she is having a conversation with someone. Then she ends up talking to the mirror.
Proud
For all her self-esteem and hardworking manners, Deliah has over time become a rather proud woman. The result of which is that she does not willingly accept help from others. If she must do so, Deliah has a tendency to hold resentment to both the person who stepped in and towards herself that she couldn’t do something. It makes her feel weak.
Spiteful
Her pride and dedication to both herself and the select few around her results in a deadly combination. Should anyone cause her some sort of pain, Deliah wishes to return it tenfold. This could be from simple annoyances to make the person’s life more difficult to downright deadly thoughts. However, Deliah keeps the dangerous ones in check. She will not kill someone but that won’t stop her from being a witch towards them.
