POWERS
Diamonds have many meanings depending on the colors attributed to them, and Vama has varied abilities due to this. Most of Vama's powers involve him sharing his diamond 'hair', and giving it to others. As his powers grow in strength, his hair becomes more vibrant and has less impurities. At lower levels, gems only retain their abilities while in Vama's presence. At level 6 these capabilities stay at all times. Vamas gains the benefits of most of these powers as long as he still has some of his gems left of that color.
Pink, the color of Joy: (3) Pink diamonds have always been closely related to happiness, and Vama has the ability to spread such feelings to those who he wishes.
Level 1: Vama's dull-pink gems catch eyes, and can make people inclined to happiness smile. Otherwise it does little besides look pretty.
Level 2: Vama's gems are actually magical and help guard against minor sadness. Having someone insult you feels less painful.
Level 3: Vama's gems remain as useful as before for natural sadness, but also helps its bearer resist magical sadness, lessening the impact a small bit.
Level 4: Vama's gems become more useful against natural sadness, making short term bits of serious sadness (the initial impact of being dumped or losing a pet) seem less terrible. It still does nothing to long term sadness.
Level 5: Vama's pink diamonds now shine as diamonds should, and further protect against magical emotional manipulation, now helping to resist sadness and anger inducing powers.
Green, the color of Change: (3) Green represents a change in a person's wealth, ability, or power in most cases, but in Vama's case, green allows for changes to his and other's bodies. For Vama, changes are permanent and painless, for others, changes only work while in possession of Vama's green diamond, and are painful at the time of the change, and when reverting to natural form.
Level 1: The dull-green gem allows one to change their eye or hair color, as long as these colors are not related to powers. Vamas may not change his own hair, but may make his eyes any color her wishes.
Level 2: The green diamond now allows people to change their height by up to three centimeters, either taller or shorter. They still weigh the same as before the change.
Level 3: Skin color can now be changed to similar tones as naturally, allowing artificial tans or an alteration to a slightly darker color.
Level 4: The green diamond allows people to shift how their body carries up to 25 pounds of weight. A belly can be shifted to be spread through the thighs and arms, or the thighs slimmed and the weight moved to the chest.
Level 5: Height can now be affected by up to 8 centimeters up or down.
Brown, the color of Healing: (3) Brown diamonds are natural healers, which purify both the spirit and body. By possessing a brown diamond healing is quicker.
Level 1: Small scratches that would normally heal overnight heal in a couple hours.
Level 2: Small scratches heal in minutes, while larger injuries such as scrapes or serious bruises take about a day to heal.
Level 3: Scrapes and bruises heal in a matter of hours, while larger deeper cuts and wounds take days instead of weeks. Less serious diseases are recovered from much quicker.
Level 4: Deeper cuts and wounds take around a day to heal fully, and broken bones take weeks instead of months to heal.
Level 5: Diseases such as the flu and non-deadly parasites are fought up almost instantly.
Red, the color of Strength: (2) Red diamonds represent strength and passion, and Vama's increases both strength of muscle and endurance, making wielders capable of lasting longer under harm as well as do strenuous activity for longer.
Level 1: 1.1x Stronger muscles, 1.1x more Enduring.
Level 2: 1.3x Stronger muscles, 1.3x more Enduring.
Level 3: 1.5x Stronger Muscles, 1.5x more Enduring.
Level 4: 1.7x Stronger muscles, 1.7x more Enduring.
Level 5: 2.0x Stronger Muscles, 2.0x more Enduring
Tough Skin: From diamonds Vama gains the ability to resist damage, while from being a Still Life he gains the ability to resist pain. Vama feels little to no pain, depending on how much he numbs himself in panic.
Unbroken Favor: By taking diamonds and other gems, Vama can replace pieces of himself in order to heal otherwise mortal wounds. His own diamonds only count as such if they were removed from his body more than three days before.
Resistances:
Heat Resistance: (3) Formed in the heat of the earth, diamonds withstand massive amounts of heat.
Level 1: Vama can withstand high heats (90s to 100s Fahrenheit) without sweating.
Level 2: Vama is capable of holding his hand into a fire for thirty seconds before it begins to become uncomfortably hot or burn.
Level 3: Vama can wear heavy coats in hundred degree (Fahrenheit) with no ill affects.
Level 4: Vama is capable of resisting natural fire for over a minute, before beginning to burn.
Level 5: Vama can last for an hour in heats up to 400 F.
Weaknesses:
Prideful: Vama is incredibly vain, and is angered quickly when insulted.
'Gentlemanly': Vama finds it almost impossible to tolerate insults directed at women, even between close friends, and will force himself into other's business.
